I came into Sportman's Warehouse to look for a new firearm. Despite multiple patrons at the gun counter, I was immediately helped. The employees were extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and the firearms they were selling. Later, when we were about to leave, my friend and I proceeded to buy a bag of hard candy. When we got to the cashier, he was swamped with other customers at the customer service counter. Instead of having us wait to process the transaction, he simply gave us the candy free of charge. The level of service here is unparalleled. The employees are attentive, knowledgeable, nice, and truly care about the customer. Sportsman's Warehouse in Sheridan has earned my business. I will be buying my future supplies and firearms from this specific Sportsman's Warehouse.

However, it's not a place I go to for advice or help with my questions. The staff doesn't always feel approachable or female-friendly, which can be disappointing, especially in a store trying to reach a diverse customer base. I did find a shirt to coordinate with next time I visit Lead Valley! That said, if you know what you're looking for, it's a decent spot to find what you need. But for a more welcoming experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere if customer service is a priority.

It's…read morea smaller gun store but the staff, especially a young blonde woman, simply could not have been more pleasant. They gave a BT 9mm that I'm really interested in. It even already has the tri lug for a suppressor. It's used but damn near half the price of a new one. I'm intrigued. This smaller gun store even has a shooting range that is clean, well maintained and well run. I really enjoyed this gun shop, especially the staff, and I suspect I will be returning regularly. Oh, by the way, they have rental firearms as well that covers the entire spectrum of types and interests. I love shopping local smaller businesses and this is definitely one of these. I used to go into my store (84th) and could look around for an hour and find something new every time.The pricing has always been competitive, sometimes downright cheap. 200 reviews for a store that's been open for 10 plus years, says to me that the only time anyone gives a review is when they have a complaint. I'd bet I've been in my store 200 plus times. Support local businesses, these companies employ your neighbors. My only complaint is that this is a corporation, & the policies are handed down from a board that probably wouldn't know the correct end to hold of a fishing pole, or firearm for that matter. P.S. The last time I was in they had a sale on sleeping bags 25% off, one of the staff was right there to answer our questions , & couldn't have been more helpful. I wish I could remember his name.
