The "diagnosis" amounted to briefly checking and SMELLING the gas cap, yet we were charged $150 for that alone. Afterward, we were told we owed an additional $75 that had not been clearly discussed upfront. When we questioned the extra charge, we were told the balance could be sent to collections, which felt unnecessarily aggressive given the situation. The biggest issue was the lack of transparency around pricing and what services were actually being performed. If you do choose to work with them, I highly recommend getting a detailed quote in writing before agreeing to anything. Overall, this was a frustrating experience that left us feeling taken advantage of during an already stressful time. So disappointing. EDIT: Sent threats and called me names after leaving this review... Screenshots attached. Saw his reply To this post, we sent $75 before you came and $75 after you showed up. That would be $150. Then, sent you the other $75 today after you decided to cuss out my boyfriend and threatened him multiple times. Unfortunately that's not the case I went in for a shake to my tires I even suggested they check my tire rods. They mentioned changing the control arms so I decided fine let's do that. If that's the problem. Paid over $640 for my car to do the same thing I took it in for when I left I took it back two days later. they said no everything okay and looks fine. Here I am at jiffy lube getting a simple oil change three weeks after and they said yes you need tire rods on the right side where I told master pros about the shake. & yup spent $640 for nothing please be careful. This all happened the same day that the front desk girl crashes another customer car. Our daughter hit a curb with her front right tire in a slick icy snow on a Thursday night. She had…read moreit towed to the dealer she bought her vehicle at. Friday morning I called the dealer and they said they couldn't even look at it for three weeks. So here's the deal - our daughter was supposed to drive Sunday to stay with us in Tennessee for her two week Christmas break and we were watching her dog while she flew to meet friends in another state. Even if her vehicle could be fixed (bent lower control A-arm) somewhat quickly, the timing for her to still drive to be with us for Christmas was very tight. She is a teacher and she had to work Friday, so I was calling places from Tennessee. Another shop said they couldn't get to her vehicle for at least a week. I was thinking she would have to rent a car for two weeks to still make Christmas and her vacation she saved up for all d was looking forward to all year. The second shop recommended Gages Lake Auto & Light Truck. I called and spoke with Todd. He listened to our trouble. Then he said he'd go tow her vehicle from the dealer to Gages Lake and look at it and call me back. That same Friday at 2pm, he called and said they got the parts and would have our daughter's vehicle fixed by closing at 5:30!! She went with coworkers to an after school get together at a local restaurant and then got a ride to the shop where she paid and picked up her vehicle - all fixed! It was a Christmas miracle!!! She drove here (534 miles!) on Sunday as previously planned and everything worked out fine. With all the thanks to Gages Lake Auto!! Her friends and coworkers couldn't believe it and they all asked for the shop's name to put in their phones if they ever need service. We are very thankful for Gages Lake Auto! We will be back whenever we need something!

You better believe a tow was called, and despite telling the driver of the vehicle in question that he was in line to be towed, parked illegally, and also delaying another company's business from getting their merchandise delivery, of course when you are told that the right respond is to blow the person and say he doesnt care. Wrong sir wrong. Also ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS MOVE FORWARD! This company clearly doesnt respect other businesses or the law. Something to think about.

I needed to get an oil change and the prices are decent here while the service is pretty good so I knew I wouldn't go anywhere else. While changing my oil, Dan and the tech, Nikolai, were able to find some other issues including my brakes, egr valve gasket and camshaft plug. They were honest with me regarding what they found and gave me a decent price without tryin to run me up which I appreciated. Overall, they did a great job with my car and they didn't try to push unnecessary work to be done on my car. I will continue to use them and I would highly recommend everyone else to as well.
