I had an appointment at 4 pm and they took me right on time. They also checked my tire air pressure. It was about $100 for the oil change.

These guys were great. They understand the concept of customer service and seemed fairly knowledgeable. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment to check in and they had my vehicly pulled into the garage within five minutes. They said it would take an hour and a half to change multiple fluids and they were spot on. These guys are a bit more expensive than the drive through places but the quality is much better. read more

Amazing customer service! I called 30 minutes before to see if they had any slots open to check the liquids of my car and they did! I did not wait long at all and was greeted by the tall man with a beard (I forgot to ask his name and I feel terrible about it). Passing thru during short stop to Redwoods National Park and needed an oil change. Lube Central had great reviews so we made appointment. The new owner was fantastic! He mentioned the air filter had not been properly installed and he was fixing it. I had last oil change at dealership and am disappointed they did not do a great job. BEST OWNER EVER!! OLD SCHOOL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I just bought a car for my daughter and was told it needed nothing. After driving for 24hrs it was burning and leaking oil. Took into Lube Central the same day and Tom the owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me figure out what was happening. He found an axel bearing housing luckily in a plastic under pan and greased it up and reinstalled. He topped everything off including the differential which is what was leaking due to axel and made sure everyting was good. He told me his recommendation and I went from having an ulcer to feeling much better!! THANK YOU TOM I WILL NEVER GET MY OIL CHANGED ANYWHERE ELSE AGAIN!!! read more

Off Central avenue, behind the CVS is the best oil and filter change service in McKv. these fine folks have been around since 1997 providing a fast, friendly, quality service for all your vehicles oil and lube needs. Along with a few other vehicle service maintenances. Lube Central is usually pretty busy most days so making an appointment is highly recommended if not necessary. I've always been able to schedule an appointment for the next day or even late on the same day if it's not to busy. Monday's and Friday's are also the busiest days of the week here as this shop is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Our most recent trip, called on Monday for a Tuesday afternoon appointment - dropped the car off at the designated time, went right across the street and grabbed a cold drink and snack - literally by the time I finished I looked up and they were pulling my car out of the bay - all told in under 30 minutes. I brought my 2004 Tacoma in this week to get all the fluids exchanged - well Tom the owner said "Let me check them first" and he personally showed me they didn't need to be changed and let me see the actual fluids. A real honest nice guy. He even lubed my u joints! Well then he said he wasn't going to write it up and I said I should give you something for the 25 minutes he spent on my truck. So I gave him a tip and told him he gave me some piece of mind as we have a place in the mountains east of here with big snows lately so I use the 4WD a lot. I change my own oil so I don't use them for that but I highly recommend this place. This owner is honest and has integrity. 5 stars!! read more

Went for an oil change, it was quick, easy, and they topped off all my fluids. Extremely nice staff, and the mechanic noticed a leak in my transfer case and did not charge me extra for topping it off. I was worried when he mentioned a leak, and asked what he thought about my upcoming trip across a few states. He gave some great advice, will def be back here again! read more

I have been taking all of my vehicles to Lube Central ever since they first opened and have never been dissatisfied with their service... friendly, efficient, and thorough. They let you know whenever they spot a problem (worn belt, oil leak, etc.) and never ding you for something you don't really need. The only drawback is that they don't have any weekend hours, but, hey, this is a locally owned and operated business and everyone deserves a break! Company was open until 6 (apparently), so I called 2hrs ahead and reserved a time at 5 for a simple oil change. I was driving up from LA and got caught in Eureka traffic so arrived at 5:15 only to be told they had shut down already. I checked my watch, checked their stated hours, but wasn't going to fight with someone who was about to work on my car behind closed doors. I accepted they would rather inconvenience a reserved customer in order to get out 45min earlier. Would not recommend. read more

I took my car here a few weeks ago because I was looking for a place we could take the car for regular oil changes in McK. Their waiting area is small, but they have a nice salt water fish tank that entertained my son while we waited. They were very quick and did not try to convince my car needed additional services (something that sometimes happens to me when I take the car to these types of places). The price was even a little cheaper than the place we used to go in Eureka. We will be bringing the cars back. read more

I've never written a review before but had to after coming here. I had the best oil change experience of my life. I arrived a little early for my appointment and wasn't expecting to be seen til then, but I was out the door in about 20 minutes. My air filter was embarrassingly bad so they asked if I wanted it changed but put zero pressure on me to do so. They even showed me the new one they were putting in so I'd know exactly what I was getting. They also top off all fluids that need it and fill the tires. What I paid was the same as I paid previously at a place in eureka for only the oil change, no air filter replacement and that place took two hours. Lube central is an incredibly helpful and courteous business. I'm never going anywhere else for as long as I'm in the area. read more

The day before we were going to be leaving for a Thanksgiving road trip, the oil change light came on for our C-Max. I usually do my own oil changes but due to time and weather, I wasn't going to be able to get it changed before we left. On my way to work I noticed Lube Central tucked behind Miller's Farm. I went down at noon thinking it was like the other quick change places and no appt was necessary. I found out they were, but they were able to squeeze me in that afternoon.
