My issue is not that the berries are repackaged nor is it about whether berries are in season locally. My concern is the lack of transparency. To me, the presentation and lack of labeling/pricing feel misleading as a customer. For example, if commercially grown berries (such as pesticide heavy Driscolls) are repackaged into open fruit baskets and sold in a store called a farmers market with no labels, pricing, signage, or disclosure of their source unless someone specifically asks, a customer could assume they're locally grown. (I'm using Driscoll's only as an example as again, I have no idea what brand you actually sell.) There's also a food safety concern. Repackaging produce into unlabeled containers removes Traceability customers rely on. If a specific lot was recalled because of an outbreak, how would customers know whether the berries they purchased were affected? I don't work for the Texas Department of Agriculture, so I'm not claiming any of these is a violation but the lack of transparency could raise consumer protection concerns. At the end of the day I simply believe customers deserve clear information about what they're buying. I believe they were the busiest vendor out of all and second the coffee vendors. We will return for sure another weekend!

I love that I was able to meet the owner and get a chance to check this place out. I was told , weekends have pop up . I bought some fresh produce and my favorite snack food, kumquats. Seeing those took me back to when I was growing up. I would pick them off my grandpa's tree and snack on them. The ambiance was great. So nice to shop local.

My family and I were excited to support local businesses, we love farmers markets. We grabbed everything from decaf tea leaves, to fresh berries and green beans. They had tons of options to choose from including fresh churros and breakfast tacos. Our last stop was for a lovely looking pretzel but we left with a loaf of Parmesan focaccia bread as well. All the vendors were lovely. Can't wait to visit again.

There was also a lobster food truck there if you're hungry. Parking was easy and nice, but if you're looking for just a pit stop on your way past town, it doesn't hurt to swing by to walk around. A lot of friendly small business owners, were alsom actively selling products. From wine, beard butter to barbecue sauce, there was an assortment of vendors. Did I mention the food vendors? I never would've thought a farmers market would have a food court but this one did. They even had picnic tables and additional space for eating. So if you wanted to grab somthing to eat and sit on the grass in your own chair, you could. A very relaxed outdoor experience. On hot days, make sure to wear a hat. PUMPKIN PATCH (2023)…read more Found this little local gem on Yelp. The reviews were older, but we were in the area so we took a gamble and drove over (2023) for the pumpkin patch. For $5 you get to park your car in the adjacent lot and gain admission to their little fair (we had cash, not sure if they accept credit or debit). There were a bunch of pumpkin displays, free hayride, kid activities, vendors selling local goods (knits, clothing, baked goods, soaps, popcorn, honey, etc.), and a haunted maze for $2 admissions within the grounds. Some of the activities require additional cost (like the pumpkin painting for the kids). They have chickens roaming around the property (they usually stay near their little chicken coop in the far back). The free hayride was fun, just a little ride around their property- nothing spectacular. The kids on our tour ride seem to enjoy it :P If you're looking to spend about 40 mins or less at a pumpkin patch, this is the place to go!
