This company is great. I found them because they were trimming trees at my office complex and I got their number for tree service at my home. Called a few months later when it was time, they picked up and came out promptly to do a bid. Listened closely to what I needed done and gave a really reasonable price. The work was tough, it was hot as heck and the trees were overdue for trimming, but they worked hard and it turned out great! I also used them for tree work at a rental. Good work there as well. We are very disappointed with this landscaping company I was reading a lot of the reviews now . We have the same problem when we contacted them a year ago. They were coming every month, doing a great job, and about 6 months into it. They started coming every other month, and now it's been since October that we haven't seen them, and we're now in January mid January. I asked what time they thought they'd come by and received "can I text you probably afternoon like 3pm". Great. I texted on Saturday 3:17p to see if they were still coming. I called and they came out 2 days later. They gave us a quote and said they would gi e us a written quote or email it. They were very pleasant. This was in July. We are now August. I had to make contact with them. I sent about 8 emails. I understood there was an issue so i said okay. Waited I even said if they couldn't do the job i would understand so I could look elsewhere. No they would check their schedule. I got an email this week stating they could not do the job. Ugh! I've been looking like crazy called 5 companies already and everyone is booked until the new year. I reached out to Lucas for some backyard landscaping and they responded to come by and give a quote. After stopping by, I didn't hear from them for days. I actually reached out to them to try and get a quote because I was looking for comparisons. Their response was I will get it to you. Again, days went by so I reached out one final time. They said they'd send it through email. A few more days went by before I got their quote. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the lack of follow through concerned me. Unfortunately, I cannot speak to their work quality because their business relations and practices are not good. Our lawn needed mowing badly... way overgrown and full of weeds. We called Lucas Green Gardens and they came right away for a quote. We hired them and are happy we did. They cleaned up the front lawn and cleared brush away from the sides of the house, and spruced up the back yard, all for a fair price, and all in one day. Super disappointed in this Gardner. I contacted them last week and set up a schedule for them to come to do my lawn and bushes every Thursday. I asked if they would be able to be there at 9:30 am and was told that was not a problem. So today came around and my husband specifically took the day off to make sure he is there Atleast the first time they do everything to our liking and because we have two big dogs. He also rearranged plans for this as well. Come 10:00 I contacted them and was told they have me down bu she forgot to put the morning time so they can't come till 1-2 Pm. Then she tells me that she didn't know I had dogs and did not know I needed a specific time yet she is the one that agreed that 9:30 works. Super unprofessional and very frustrating that as a business they can't hold to their end of the deal and that disorganized they can't put the correct time. read more

I want to be fair about this so when they installed the lawn at Mom's house they did a very good job for a really nice price. If it were just that it would be 5 star rating. I replaced them today because no service was performed at all for September and the last time they were out was early August. I sent a text about it and never heard back and today when we cancelled service the owner got in touch. Frankly this isn't the first time this has happened and I think schedules get overwhelming for these folks. The weeds in Mom's yard were over 3 feet high and there was trash and debris in the back. I hired another gardener and at a one time clean up was $90.00 it was so bad. The owner and I started arguing about the last payment, I felt she was paid for September but she says payment was one month behind so if you deal with these people document everything or you could end up regretting it. I let this go if it continued on we would end up in court or a 75.00 bill which makes no sense. I think this review is fair and deserved. If you look them up on google you will see a closed Yelp site for them with two great reviews and seven really bad ones so I would read those also before you make a decision.
