Got a flat tire and had no jack. Lucas towing happened to drive by and stopped I asked for a jack he told me he'll change the tire for me for $60. I cash apped it to him and as soon as the driver got over to my tire he stopped and said "here's what we can do either send your money back or you can send me $30 more ...he wants 90 now to change it"!!! What a scammer because I have seen other reviews where they jack up the price right as they're getting ready to do the work!! And nobody was with this guy so I have no idea who "he" was supposed to be. They don't deserve even 1 star. Liars , told me will be this price to tow then , being at location ask more 3 times a price . Or else we won't touch your car, so unprofessional towing. Asks questions like a cop, all you got do towing regardless. There is no police hold. so why pump up the price? be safe people, they were like we won't touch unless you give more, like really. Told them multiple times not to start the vehicle. Both owner and driver. Driver dropped vehicle off, told us repeatedly he did not start it just put it in neutral. Then when we showed him the video of him driving the vehicle he admitted to it. Now I have more damage to the truck than it was originally towed for. And both are now denying they were ever told not to start it. If they weren't told not to start it, why deny until they saw the video? read more

Broke down in Brooklyn new York and Lucas towing came and saved us and brought us home back to New Jersey without a complaint. I scheduled a tow for 2:30. When I called to see where the driver was at 3, they had sent the truck to LBI so they said they could make it at 4:30. I rescheduled my appointment to sell the junk car then proceeded to wait until quarter of 6 where I was told multiple times they were 20 minutes away. I am forever grateful with this service! I was in between holiday shopping heading to Macy's when my tire just jiggled to the side after an emotional melt down I called various services and this one was the most affordable so I was unsure of what to expect, but someone was there in 5 minutes flat. My wheel fell off of my lowered truck while I was driving and the studs broke so I could not put it back on. I had no idea what to do or if it could even be towed. I called lucas and he pulled up to me before I could even get off the phone with him, like 3 minutes, he worked his magic with a jack and a huge wooden block, and It was on the flatbed with three wheels in no time. Couldn't have asked for better service!! I'm from Massachusetts and I bought 8 snow plows from an area in New Jersey, drove 6 hours and I needed them loaded on my trailer. I called 7 towing companies and Lucas towing was the only one that was willing to give me a hand loading the plows on my trailer.
