My son and I were in Denver for a football game and saw there was a Lucchese store downtown. I'd never been in an area that has one so I decided to go check it out. Downtown Denver parking was horrible but I find a spot and walked about 5 min to the store. I was greeted by an employee and they let me peruse a little bit. I was in heaven seeing all the high quality merchandise they had there. The lady (from Texas) who's helped me was super nice and helpful in picking out the appropriate sized belt as it was spendy and didn't wan to get wrong size. Would have loved to get a pair of boots but decided to hold off. Even though the merchandise was a little spendy it's very high quality. read more

As splendid as any Lucchese store, but really convenient 16th Street location. For other-staters, the perfect place to pick up a pair of boots so you're ready for a night out before heading to the high country. Easy side trip from Denver International Airport, Centennial Airport or Union Station. Many mountain towns have limited, or no, options. She guided me perfectly and then help me with sending two gifts which arrived in perfect order. Totally got the runaround From this company about a pair of boots we bought from an independent retailer that had inferior stitching on them. Customer service at the EL Paso corporate office told us our local retailer would help us and they flat out refused to even discuss it. The original retailer is hundreds of miles from us so we're stuck. Not good for what is supposed to be a quality upscale brand. read more

When I couldn't find my 30 year old boots, where else was I going to go other than Lucchese? Nothing about this boutique disappoints. The staff are knowledgable (who knew my Lucchese boot size is much different from my "regular" shoe size), super friendly, not pushy, and just all around good people. Then there are the boots....and oh my, could not stop at one pair and then the whole family got boots (including our son's girlfriend). Still waiting for my black Priscillas, but now have a couple pairs to hold me over. My husband also needed a pair and ended up going back for a second one because they are just that awesome. And then, there are the belts and distressed leather coats with rabbit that just complement the look. We feel a little like walking Lucchese ads when we are decked out - that is a good thing. Summary: Juice NOT Worth the Squeeze My husband purchased a pair of Lucchese All-Weather Garden Boots in Military Green for my 39th bday. It was an absolute surprise that he remembered me pointing these out on a walk downtown one day. Unfortunately they didn't have my size, so he knowingly purchased a size down, just to give me a gift to open on my bday. He told me how lovely the staff was and that they invited me to come back. He wanted me to try on a few pairs, and confirm my size so I could exchange them accordingly. The receipt and business card for the salesperson was in the box. Tuesday, June 7th wound up to be a mild day for my schedule, so I decided to pop into the Lucchese store around 11:40am. There were three staff members working at the Denver Union Station location when I came in. I was greeted by a gentleman who asked me how he could help. I proceeded to tell him the reason for my visit, and he confirmed all of the same facts - they didn't have my size in that color. I then asked if I could try a few sizes in another color, but same style. During this time, two sales personnel were conversing and completing side work on a pile of clothing, stacked up at the register. For a moment I felt like I was disrupting and wondered if I should have called ahead. While the gentleman was in the back searching for the boots, one of the sales personnel walked around from the corner and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I asked what she had to offer. She replied "uh, water?" (I walked in holding a bottle of water.). Nothing from the stocked bar was mentioned, but it was something my husband was raving about. I was perplexed, but I didn't want to ask "what else do you have". The boots in a size up ended up fitting perfectly, and thankfully another store had my size in the Military Green. The gentleman was kind enough to do the research and follow up, as well as deliver a personal conversation and genuine hospitable service. He noted that Cassy would ring in the return. That was the same person who sold my husband the boots; however, I didn't feel the same great experience that he mentioned having on his initial visit. The return was processed, then my receipts handed back to me, with a flat toned "happy belated birthday by the way." I have many years of experience with the Four Hotels Seasons Resorts. Needles to say I'm well versed in hospitality, and look for certain levels of it with high quality/luxury goods, amenities, and services. This was a complete missed opportunity. Details: 1). Conversations and side work took precedence. 2). No new sales or up-sales attempted. 3). Drinks not offered, outside of water. 4). Greetings and salutations missed. 5). Hospitality fail. This brand can proudly share that they have products Handcrafted since 1883. Not many others can do that. In the days post COVID, I would recommend vast improvements with customer service. Why else would you bother opening up a brick and mortar? From my personal experience, the juice was not worth the squeeze. Purchasing them online would have been better. I feel bad for the Bootmaker who poured love into the craftsmanship because of the brand history, only to have it marred by the lackluster sales experience. You should hire sales people who care, and have the same love for the brand and craftsmanship as the bootmakers. This was my first Lucchese purchase, and I'm in no way tempted to buy anything more from the brand after my experience. read more

I didn't find anything this time but I did have such a pleasant moment that I'd come back to support this business. They also referred me to another custom spot when I mentioned needing an item they don't sell. I really appreciate that I was treated kindly. read more

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Alonzo in the Denver CO store was by far one of the best retail experiences I have ever had. Not to mention there is no better bootmaker. My fiance loved this pair of boots as much as the pair before and that is what I hoped for. read more
