Outstanding quality work by a very good company and very good owner. Brian has helped me twice over the past several years. First experience was with my 30 year old "worlds most comfortable napping sofa" which I'd purchased while living overseas and have had friends come visit just so they could take a nap on it - true story! This sofa had received so much use over the years that the main seating area leather had become badly worn to the point of tearing in some places. Brian came to assess and concluded the only course of action would be to replace the leather in those worn seating areas. Seemed like a daunting task to me - not only matching the color but also the leather itself - stiffness, feel, texture, etc., and on a sofa purchased overseas at that. While not cheap, the price Brian quoted seemed very reasonable to me for this kind of job. He took away the sofa and brought it back several weeks later looking like new. The replaced leather matched the other sections of original leather perfectly, I was so happy. It is now several years later and the replaced sections are holding up perfectly, I am a very happy customer. Just this week I had Brian come out to do a restoration on the two matching love-seats (same leather as the sofa). These were not nearly so worn/torn as the sofa had been, so Brian was able to do the much less expensive in-home restoration which took a couple hours for both. Now they too look brand new, with the restored areas matching the original leather areas perfectly. Another reviewer called Brian an artist - I'll agree with that. Brian, owner of Leather Tech transformed my 16 year old loveseat, sofa and sectional leather couches into a work of art! I was ready to throw away my couches and buy new ones but I called Brian and the rest is history..... I recently purchased a leather sectional with a sleeper sofa piece. The cushions in that part of the sectional sat lower than the rest and felt like you were falling in when you sat down. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent Brian out to assess the situation. He was so easy to communicate with and he would contact me when he was en route, super helpful as I have two small children so a heads up is great. The cushions on my 14 year old Leather Couch were beginning to sag. I found Brian via a google search and he responded to my email the next day. I described my problem, sent over a few photos and he assured me that this is a common occurrence with my type of sofa. His quote was reasonable and he arrived at the appointed time. Brian was very thorough and conscientious while performing the repair. He used a drop cloth and a magnet to pick up the stray staples that were pulled during the operation. This review is an additional review. Again Brian of Leather Tech is great. The recliner that he just recently repaired stopped working. It is an electric recliner. Brain came out checked it out and showed that the electric motor was at fault. We did have a spare motor which Brain installed and the recliner works great. Brian told me he will get another motor from Ethan Allen to replace the spare. No charge. Leather Tech is a great company. Brian is as honest and professional as the day is long. Wow! I can't say enough good things about Leather Tech. Brian did an absolutely amazing job of removing a stain from our leather sofa recliner. The best best part is he did a five star job and didn't charge an arm and leg. He was able to disassemble the sofa take the stained part for clean and have it back to us in only a week.
