So as you can see from the before photo, it has been used a ton over the last couple of years but I love it. Then look at the after photo- simply AMAZING WORK!!! The front buckles had the leather peeling around them but not any longer. My sister saw it and was like, "Wow amazing I think it looks better than brand new". I highly recommend this shop. Dropping off and picking up my bag they had customers sitting in the chair getting their shoes shined, I am sure to return with my winter leather boots in a couple of months when it gets cold. I attached a pair of my vintage Chanel flats that I had absolutely beaten to death, and they came back looking almost new. I've also purchased a Louis Vuitton bag from them and had a great experience. I've even trusted them with multiple pairs of my clients' Christian Louboutin heels to have the red soles restored. This was my first time coming to The Shoe Care Co, and I'm so happy with my experience! The rebottomed a pair of heels, replaced the shoe caps, and cleaned them up, and they are good as new! The location is in a building downtown, and I believe they take most things off site for repairs. My only gripe is the crappy parking situation downtown but that isn't their fault. It took one week to get my shoes back; they had given me a 1-2 week window. They also sent me a photo of my repaired stuff with the text they were ready. One of the best things in life is to see someone operate with passion. I attended a meeting at the Denver Convention Center and The Shoe Care Co was doing free shoe shines in the exhibition hall. I watched my coworker get her tall boots done and I was literally amazed. I've seen shoe shines in airports, we all have. This though was leather cleaning and conditioning at its finest. There's a wash step a conditioning step and a buff/shine step. Putting it that way though is like saying your favorite homemade apple pie has apples, cinnamon, flour, butter and spices. I wash so impressed seeing her boots sparkle that I has them clean my leather bag today. I've had this bag for three years and carry it everyday with an easy 20 pounds of work stuff. My bag looks soo good!!!! The bad news is I'll never find a shoe shine service like this where I live. Literally they turned the pocket inside out to clean and condition it (seriously they're that dedicated). The good news is I will be emailing them myshoecare@gmail.com to send several old leather purses that I'd thought were too beat up to carry anymore. I took three pairs of shoes in, one to be cleaned and two others to be repaired. The first pair were suede and looked the same when I picked them up. The other two had additional services completed that I did not ask for so I ended up paying substantially more to repair shoes that now have visible stitching and patchwork. I would have preferred for them to call me and let me know they were unable to repair the shoes without changing the look. Both pairs were shined when I didn't request the service, so again and additional unnecessary expense that was not asked for. My mistake for trying a new shop to save time on traveling across town. read more

For such a highly rated company, I was extremely disappointed in their services. The quality of their work was terrible--I sent back my shoes twice and they still weren't fixed. They were only able to barely clean up two pairs of my shoes. Additionally, the delivery men were both outstandingly rude to the point where they told me they don't care if they get my business anymore. Strongly do not recommend. Wow! Tracy and Armando offer an incredible service. I didn't know there was much variation in the shoe shining business - I usually get it done at conferences or airports. Their shoe cleaning service takes probably 15 minutes and you can practically see your reflection in the shoes when they are done. They are both super pleasant as well and, as an added bonus, when they are cleaning your shoes it basically feels like a foot massage! You will not be disappointed with their work. read more

i told them not to clean or touch the outside of my shoes but just to repair the inner sole. they not only cleaned my shoes but they put some brown shiner on them which ruined my other clothes and the look of my shoes. they then charged me an extra 50$ for this which I told them I didn't want to pay and they refused to refund or help me. on top of that the repair work inside of the shoes is horribly uncomfortable and gives my feet blisters. tried to call to explain but they just told me they can't help me. read more

I've always been one to try to save money by cleaning my own shoes...trying all kinds of products for suede and shining leather boots. I moved from the south and unfortunately have a lot of suede boots. I had a pair that were fairly expensive and the suede discolored from snow and color transfer of my jeans. I brought two of my my oldest FAVORITE Frye boots in for new heels: back zip ankle boots and riding boots. Armando examined the ankle boots and suggested I also add a thin liner to the bottoms of the soles to provide comfort and support where the leather was starting to feel a little thin. The boots were done 3 days later and they look great! The heels look crisp and new. He also cleaned, polished and weather treated them - my beautiful old boots glow. The added cost to repair the ankle boots properly was really negligible and they are still as comfortable as ever. Highly recommend! read more
