I stopped by this store on 10/29 around lunchtime, and was really taken aback by the rudeness of the customer service. When I asked about cleaning instructions for a very expensive item, the man helping me gave short, one-word answers. When I tried to clarify, he rolled his eyes at me. I had to keep pressing just to find out that the item couldn't be cleaned at all, from a different (this time female employee who was much nicer) something you'd think would be clearly explained up front. I'm sorry if I'm not an expert in this niche area, but that's exactly why customers ask questions--especially when they're making a significant purchase. Basic courtesy and patience should be part of the job. If this is the owner, and you're in a position where you don't need customers, then congratulations--you've succeeded in driving one away. If you're an employee entrusted by the owner to represent the business, that's even worse, because you're treating customers with blatant disrespect and damaging the reputation of the place you work for. For a store located in a tourist area, where many customers are likely unfamiliar with your products, you'd think customer service would be a priority. I love love love my slippers from Overland. I've been wearing the same style for many years...in fact, my parents wear their slippers, as does my husband as well as my brother's family. I guess you could say we're an Overland slipper family. The store in Writers Square is always well stocked and very clean and I've always found the customer service to be fantastic. Quality clothing. My wife saw the Petra Spanish Merino Shearling Sheepskin Coat with Toscana Trim on the window. Walked in, tried it on, and the whole store was in awe at how good it looked on her. It's not every day you buy a sixteen hundred dollar garment but YSL has similar for 8k so why not. Great service from store staff too. This is a piece that will last a lifetime. I had a great time buying a new coat in the Durango store and sadly by the time I had gotten to Denver, the notorious string holding the pocket had ripped this was a brand new coat in less than 24 hours. Afton not only processed a exchange for the same coat, she also sent the new code out for alterations to replace the string with a leather strap for more security . I really like this place, they only have 2 kinds of skins here, Sheep and Cowhides. No matter what kind of rug or other thing you are looking at it, it's made from sheep. Some are made to look like Bears and Beavers etc. but they are all sheep. The lady said they can't sell Bear cause PETA would be all over them, but the sheep skins they get are from a place that is already killing the sheep for the meat so it's more acceptable. It's not like there are slaughterhouses for Bears. I sure would like a bearskin run someday though, I hear they are coarse. They have a lot of cool jackets and other interesting unique fur and leather coats hats and dresses. Their prices are high but I have nothing to compare it to. We walked past, and on a whim i saw multicolored sheepskins outside. Immediately, I made a beeline for the store entrance. Further perusal was mildly disappointing, as most of the multicolored sheep skins had already been purchased :(. Lucky for me there was still a very fluffy pink one ready for sale. I just had to have it! Upon purchase, they give you care instructions and a brush and are willing to hold onto your purchase so you can continue shopping / go on your merry way. Apparently, they also have a pretty nice shipping deal as well. Received a beautiful coat from my husband for Christmas more than $1,700. I absolutely loved it but unfortunately their ability to process a return and replacement or read what was provided by the consumer is non-existent. Unfortunately, the coat was too small and we returned it and went through the process on-line to fill out the return and order another 2 replacement items for several thousands of dollars. We supplied the return slip with what they made us fill out to re-order different items. We waited, and waited and waited for my new items to arrive. Finally, we called asking why my return was processed and replacement items were never ordered and why they never followed through on shipping the replacement items. This is almost a $2,000 replacement from an almost $4,000 original order, so this isn't like I'm upset over a $20.00 item. We called customer service and the response was absolutely horrible! No resolution, no explanation, no customer service to rectify things, just excuses and blame. Said they had no way to check on a replacement order and that they had no way to see what was in the system or who was responsible for what. If that's the case then why did we even have to fill out the replacement form that we had to print off from their system and enclose with the return item? You would think when someone drops $4,000 on product you could at least get someone to have 1/2 a heart to try to give you answers as to why things got so messed up on their end? ZERO STARS for absolute incompetent customer support and heartless ability to try to resolve an order. read more

I did have a zipper pull wear out and contacted the store. They told me the replacement came from Canada but they would try to get one. This was a few months ago, so I didn't think it would happen. It's fluffy heaven in here. I wanted to touch everything. Check out the $300 fox teddy bear. It was so soft that for a split second, I almost considered spending that much on a teddy bear. :) Great sheepskin rugs.
