After that, he acted like he wanted to make my situation harder instead of helping me. He misled me about Discovery, telling me it would take weeks or a month. Later I learned that Discovery is not released at all when a case does not go to trial. He knew this from the beginning but still gave me misleading explanations. He also refused to give me signed documents I needed. I had to go to the courthouse myself and wait two to three hours for him to show up because he would not sign anything. The worst part was that he accessed a completely separate second case of mine without my permission and without any reason. I never told him about that case and never authorized him to look at it. This made me feel unsafe and violated. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this law firm.

I gave her a call and was immediately able to speak to her. I was asked to follow up with her with a case number to a pending legal matter but was unable to reach her. So I left the receptionist a voicemail in hopes my call would be returned the following day. That was not the case. I called for 3 weeks straight leaving voicemail after voicemail. After a while I gave up because it seemed to me like she just did not want to take me on as a client. That's ok. I tried calling again as I'm coming down to the last few weeks before I have to submit my response to the court and to my surprise I was able to get through only to be told that Ms. Donoso would be off the next week and when I brought up the amount of times I've tried calling and reaching out leaving voicemails, the receptionist responded in a tone like she did not care and was like "oh I'm so sorry". The receptionist made me feel like my legal issue was very minor and she was completely dismissive about my situation. She completely lacks empathy and understanding. What I don't appreciate is the lack of communication. I called over 5 times in attempts to at least get a call back and never received anything back.
