I have used Lucero Tree Service 2 separate times to take down some palm trees in our back yard. The first set of palms were over 40ft and the second cluster of 3 palms were shorter but much thicker and still 25-30ft tall. AUGUST 2022 We recently had to remove several long-established trees/shrubs to clear the way for a French drain installation. After considering a few options, I hired Lucero Tree Service. I was extremely pleased with both their consideration and professionalism. They arrived on time and completed the work in a matter of hours. Because of the requirements given by one of the French drain installers I was considering, it was necessary to have all the roots completely removed - especially near the house. Tomas (Lucero) and his team made sure there were no roots in the area where the drain was to be installed by digging the trench. This was above and beyond what I had expected and, I was impressed. Under those trees was a row of 7 fragile lantana plants. I was concerned that the heavy tree branches would fall and crush them. Tomas recommended purchasing boxes from Home Depot to put over them as a shield but to save a few dollars, I scavenged what I already had at home. When they arrived, I was in the process of attempting to stuff fragile and uncooperative limbs under the boxes and containers. They helped me complete the job, being as gentle and careful as I was to avoid breaking off limbs Again, I was impressed with the degree of customer service. Then, when they told me they had brought along some extra containers for that purpose, in case I didn't have enough of them, they gained an extra star in my review!! Because of the layout of the yard, it was necessary to take their stump grinder onto our neighbors' property. While this was not a problem, it did create a mess in their driveway from the cypress limbs and resulting sap. Tomas and his team made sure to clean up every spot and sweep up every needle. They did all this for a very reasonable price. When I learned that they also do cement work, sprinkler systems and brick work I put their name in my 'go-to' list of vendors.
