The tree trimming they do is not trimming. It's butchering !! they leave nothing left just stubs! . Who wants to look at a bare tree with absolutely no branches for a half a year until it grows back ! We had beautiful ambience in our patio with a pepper tree I was gonna hang twinkle, twinkle lights for our holiday parties & So I asked them to leave some branches but their communication was terrible,! There is a ways you can trim a tree and still make it look beautiful! But all they care about is what they're there to do which is to butcher trees!! read more

I had this company do a complete remodel of my front yard. I also had him remove 2 fruit trees from our backyard. The first problem: The backyard fruit trees had their roots extended to the grass area, Alfonso said he would remove those roots (in the grass area) when he removed the trees. When asked why he didn't do it, he said, he had no more time. Next, we had an entire front yard taken out, down to the dirt. I asked if he would be putting a commercial weed block barrier down, he said yes. Instead he came with a Home Depot product. Super flimsy. I questioned him about this. He said he "guaranteed no weeds would come through it." I knew that wouldn't be the case, but I thought maybe he knew something I didn't. I also asked if he would be putting in new soil for all the plants when planted, he said "yes". He didn't do that either. He just added a tiny bit to the tops of each plant. The worst part was the DG in the center of the yard. He put NOTHING between the dirt and DG. I questioned that, as weeds will find their way real quick without a barrier. He said "trust me no weeds will come through." Well they did. The weeds are coming through the rocks where the flimsy grey "weed block" is , which is the entire yard. The DG and rocks are just a nightmare with the weeds coming through. I have questioned him about all this during the installation, and after. He said he would come take care of the weeds. He said he would come to the house and spray a "special fertilizer", he didn't do that. No call or any communication to take care of this. He should've put commercial grade weed barrier, like he said under the rocks and DG, but didn't. He rushed to finished the job in 1 day. From dirt to completion in 1 day (with the exception of the cement borders). Weeds are also coming up through the plants he planted. He said that was normal. I had another house done many years ago, with the same products (rocks, DG, etc.) and have had no issues with weeds coming through the rocks or DG or the plants. He said to just (pick the weeds out of the plants). We had the yard done in May and the weeds started in June. With a proper foundation this wouldn't be occurring. I only know because as I mentioned, I had another yard done years ago. Never had an issue with weeds coming through the rocks or the DG. I love this company. I have used them 3 times. They have cut down 3 large pine trees and trimmed 2 palm trees over the past 4 years. New Image landscaped my front & back yard with Artificial Turf, drought resistant planter beds and DG hard scape 3 years ago . We just had new vinyl fences installed by LifeTime Fence Fabricators. That ment having to move a lot of decorative planter gravel also our dog ate some plants and dug hole on our DG. We callled New Image back to put all back together with some extras. I work for a company in Corona, CA that has used New Image Tree Care about once a year for the past who-knows-how-long. Long story short: I have always been impressed with their professionalism, promptness, and pricing. We have about 40 trees on site that need annual maintenance. Each year new image will come out and Trim and/or top the trees completely. I have never had a problem with tree health, and I have never had a problem with any of their work instructions. They're always on time and great. Most the time they are able to schedule faster than I would guess. They also provide an amazing service for us- they come out on weekends because most of our trees are flanking a parking lot that is used heavily Monday to Friday. I had DG installed by another company and the results were a joke! I called New Image Tree Care and Alfonso came out the same day and explained what needed to be done and gave me a fair price to make my backyard beautiful again. I thought I may not get as good of service since I was paying less, but they were wonderful. Jackie was super helpful and responsive in scheduling the estimate and providing license and insurance info , and Alfonso and his crew did a great job bringing the 30' dead pine tree down safely and removing the stump.
