I have been vacationing in Saratoga for over 25 years and it is hands down one of my favorite upstate NY towns. I truly enjoy shopping on Broadway and usually meet friendly and engaging staff/owners. Sadly, this store is an outlier. Try as I might to give them a chance, they just keep on disappointing. On this occasion, a decidedly unfriendly middle aged sales woman went out of her way to be unwelcoming and literally made an effort to avoid me. Since I can get Anthropologie brands at an actual Anthropologie and I prefer shopping where I feel welcomed, I left.

A couple days after ordering it I did have a question about it so I called. She was amazing. She told me when she went to ship my dress there was actually a stain on it and that she called around to other stores until she found it. A lot of places wouldn't do that. They would just call and cancel your order. This was above and beyond for customer service.

Knowing that I am the least fashionable person on the planet, I brought my mom here over Thanksgiving weekend to use the gift certificate. Even though I'm a walking fashion faux-pas, I actually liked quite a lot of the items that they carry. My mother really enjoyed her shopping experience here and purchased several items. My husband and I go to Saratoga Springs to relax and shop frequently. My husband has always looked…read moreforward to browsing in the Saratoga Saddlery. However, when we were there in April, 2024, he got bitten by a dog. The clerk and her friend paid no attention and made no effort to control the dog. My husband became upset and they threw him out of the store! When my husband came back to our hotel room, he was clearly shaken by how he had been treated. The dog bit right through his pants and into his leg. We didn't know any urgent care centers in the area, so went to CVS. The pharmacist told us if we didn't go to urgent care, we needed to put a lot of antibiotic ointment on the wound, bandage it and be very watchful about infection. We did not enjoy those days and don't think of Saratoga Springs as fun anymore. I emailed the store about the incident and got no reply. No apology, nothing. All the stores and restaurants in Saratoga Springs will miss us.

Beautifully merchandised, lots of space, very nice dressing rooms. The owner Eliza is so nice and helpful, knowledgeable of her inventory and will help you find just the right thing. lula is a newer boutique right across the way from lucia. the same aesthetic that lucy has for…read moreclothes and accessories, carrie, the owner of lula, seems to have for home furnishings and other personal items. i've only made a few purchases there, but i really like going into this store. i'm absolutely in love with the slippers i recently bought there as well as the two vintage aprons i bought (one for myself, one for a birthday gift for a friend). the only other item i bought at this store was a cute checkbook holder, impractical maybe, but pretty and made by the owner's mom. apparently more designs will come out for the holiday season. lula also carries totes designed by jessa blades. i have one that i bought from jessa directly, but it's great that she now has a carrier in saratoga. lula has a ton of beautiful furniture that i don't need in my furnished apartment, but others should check it out. also the place always smells good and i think the candles that create the lovely scent are probably also for sale. the prices range: the small things are pretty inexpensive, the furniture is on the pricier side, but it is furniture afterall.
