As I worked with Tania we explored events from my childhood and adulthood, so it was truly a comprehensive approach. Tania has helped me with EMDR, and after 2-3 treatments, I felt significantly better. I would say there was a marked difference in my level of anger, tension and stress. After working with Tania for over two years, I also did ketamine treatment. Tania was the ideal therapist to guide me through this process. The ketamine treatment helped me to objectively understand past events and process them in a productive way. I also gained important insights through this treatment, which has given me a lot of peace. Dr. Salerno most qualified Psychologists that I have ever met and I've seen Psychologist on both…read morethe East side (the Space Coast of Florida) and the West side (Silicone Valley California) of the United States. Dr. Salerno really cares about his patients, so much so that he was willing to work with me on my insurance and continue to see me even though he does not yet take Medi-Cal. I'm not sure what type of insurance that Dr. Salerno takes at this time. I believe he used to take United Healthcare. I know that Dr. Salerno has an office right near Santana Row. I've even walked to my appointments with Dr. Salerno from Santana Row because his office is so close. You can always take a trip to Santana Row after your visit with Dr. Salerno and check out the Row. It's a wonderful place to spend the day (or the weekend if you'd like to rent there through Airbnb or at the Hotel Valencia). I say this just in case you show up early and have (significant) time before for your appointment with Dr. Salerno or maybe you just want to take a walk over there and have lunch after your appointment. You can always park at Santana Row as well so sometimes Dr. Salerno's office may have limited parking (I'm unsure of this due to not ever driving to my appointments with him). When it comes to appointments, Dr. Salerno is seeing patients both virtually and in person (due to Dr. Salerno being an essential worker) so it's great because you have your choice how you have a session with him. I'm currently living on the Space Coast of Florida and I have sessions with Dr. Salerno from my home, which is very convenient for me. Currently Dr. Salerno's schedule its very full, and as such, his time is very limited. If he agrees to see you as a new patient please be grateful and expect (possibly) longer than average wait times for an initial appointment. Please also arrive early for appointments and be sure to cancel appointments in a timely manner so that your appointment slot can be given to somebody else in need if you are unable to make an appointment. Please arrive promptly to appointments and take care to realize that this is a essential worker patient driven service and so Dr. Salerno may sometimes run late due to being with another patient in their time of need (like if they are crying and upset and he can't interrupt them but instead comforts them). It's important to realize that Dr. Salerno gives each of his patients the same amount of attention and care during treatment and so what this means is that during your appointment Dr. Salerno will be just as kind and courteous to you giving you the same amount of care. Please be understanding that Dr. Salerno does not employ office staff to set his appointments or to take payments for him and so all of this take a great deal more time for him and may result in longer than expected wait times for appointment confirmations. Please also be patient with him during these times, as office staff all translate into more money that Dr. Salerno must charge his patients and so while he may take longer to respond, you save a lot of money for your appointments in general. Don't worry, once your appointment time arrives, you will be in good hands with Dr. Salerno you won't be disappointed in your session as he will really help you and he will be there for you when you need him. Dr. Salerno can also make referrals to Psychiatrists so please don't hesitate to ask him for his opinions and recommendations regarding this often crucial step in mental health management.
