I had such a great experience here! Last week I wanted to get my ears pierced and after calling around to other businesses, I finally called Lucky 13 and wow, I am so impressed! They answered right away and were able to give me a quote over the phone, Steph is so kind! The whole experience of getting the piercing was excellent, any questions I had were answered and I felt at ease about the whole process (I had scar tissue from when I first had my ears pierced with a gun so I was concerned about that affecting the process and was able to discuss my concerns and felt reassured that it wouldn't be an issue). Steph was quick and explained everything as she went, we ended up having a great conversation. During checkout they give you an after care pamphlet and stress to please call if you have any issues with your piercing! Noel is the color master! Amazing work. Just had my third session with Noel and scheduled my 4th. His work on my watercolor shoulder piece is 2nd to none! This place is so awesome. We had planned on going to another place that our friend suggested to us but when they turned us away Lucky 13 took us like 45 minutes before they close for 3 small tattoos. All of our tattoos came out so good! The people who work they are very cool and nice. Inside is really cool. It's a small lil place with a bunch of sweet drawings and art on the walls. Got my very first tattoo here today. I love the end result. Noel was my artist and he was very professional, patient and kind. He knew that I was nervous and made sure that I comfortable with the design, placement, procedure - everything. When I'm nervous I laugh ALOT. He just laughed along with me, said funny things and really made the entire experience less nerve wracking. I also had a good friend with me (thx Pat!) and she let me squeeze her arm (I know I left marks). I had been wanting a tattoo for years to symbolize some things that I've overcome in my life and I'm so happy that I finally did it. I'm already thinking about my next one! The shop is clean, lively and welcoming. Noel showed me that he was using a brand new needle before he started along with the rest of the equipment which I really appreciated. Stephanie, the office manager, was very helpful and patient with all of my initial questions and explained everything thoroughly. She is very straightforward and I could see that being misinterpreted as being abrasive but I don't think that she intends to be. The price I paid for my tattoo was reasonable in my opinion even though I'm a novice. All in all it was a great experience and I'll be seeing Noel again for any future tattoos. read more
