I had my ears pierced as well as a stud in my nose a few days ago. This is shop isn't like any other piercing/tattoo shop. I went in with average expectations and was blown away. The piercer was super cautious, very clean, and informative about many things. I will be coming back here to get a tattoo. I loved how quiet, modern, and clean this shop was. Not only is this business local, but the owner is passionate about what he does and you can just feel the passion. Although pricing isn't super cheap, it's worth every penny. He is very careful and only uses jewelry that is premium grade. He gives great tips on aftercare instructions. Do not look anywhere else. I promise you will have a great experience. read more

Made an appointment for daughters ears to be pierced. Upon arrival they did not appear. Attempted to call indicating we were here for the appointment; they did no answer. Also knocked several times; still did not answer. This is a poor way to conduct business. read more

I found Ink and Body Shop while looking for somewhere in LKN to get my nose pierced. Initially, I called a few times to see if they were accepting walk-ins (which they currently are not) but nobody answered the phone. Although this frustrated me at first, once I made an appointment for the next day, everything was smooth sailing from there! The piercer was knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly, which helped put my nerves at ease even though this isn't my first rodeo. He was able to offer some good suggestions for the healing process that I'll be using on both my newest piercing and another that's still healing. Additionally, he took the time to cater to my future plans for this piercing in order to pick the perfect spot with precision. The ambiance of this studio was also amazing. It gave me modern/futuristic vibes and was very clean and neat. The background music added to my overall comfort as well. And going back to the appointment-only comment, in hindsight, I'm glad they have this policy in place because there was no wait, the studio was nice and quiet, and I didn't have to worry about feeling rushed or in a hurry. What this studio explicitly offered that I haven't always seen was the saline wash for aftercare. I was so relieved that this was included in the price ($80 overall) that I bought an additional one so I wouldn't run out,, especially since it was only $5. This time has not been good at all, first appointment the artist didn't show up on time,(1 1/2 hour late) so we left after waiting over an hour, and later rescheduled. Second time he text 30 minutes before our appointment and canceled. So disappointed! read more

She did an absolutely wonderful job creating my vision and putting it all together with my fathers handwriting included! I scheduled a tattoo with A male tattoo artist from ink a body and planned on coming in at 1 o'clock. I waited over an hour for him and he never came. I left and decided to look at his work. I cannot believe that not only was he a no show but the fact that Ink and body shops advertises him as your primary artist. Thankfully a young girl was there to consult me but when I asked for the manager I was informed that the manger was my tattoo artist who wasn't present. I'm disappointed with the service of this shops "manager". If you need or want and tattoo DONT book with him. Triple check your appointments and do your research on ALL artist before requesting tattoos from unqualified individuals. This shop needs new management!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I got my belly button pierced here. I was very happy with CJ during the piercing and how he communicated with me about what I could expect. However, afterwards I noticed my piercing was crooked. I thought maybe it was just my eye seeing it, and I decided to wait for the swelling to go down. After 2 months I showed my friends, and they all asked what happened and said that the piercing looked visibly crooked. He saved my ears!! I had two conch piercings go terribly wrong due to a bad piercer and cheap jewelry. CJ talked me through every step of the healing process and made me super comfortable. He cleaned out the infected gross stuff and put in safe healthy jewelry and my ears instantly cleared up and I felt human again. Wonderful, wonderful, piercing for first time piercing for my daughters. I brought my young daughters in for a correction from a botched mall job. I am incredibly grateful to CJ and now my daughters ears are beautiful and cleaned, ready to heal. CJ clearly does not know what he's doing and overcharged me. $200 to change out nose ring jewelry to a basic stud and it falls out of the inside of my nose constantly. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I had to get my changed out by another piercer in Charlotte. read more

I got a triple vertical helix pierced at this shop. First off, my piercing is quite crooked. Only after he pierced me did my piercer tell me that this was his first time doing a piercing like this. I wish he would have told me that beforehand because that would have made me rethink things. Second, the only available jewelry was butterfly backs. It seems like a professional shop should have more than butterfly backs. Third, while I was sitting in the chair waiting to be pierced, my piercer was on the phone with his buddy. He was talking about how he left his gun in his buddy's closet. Unprofessional to me. Leave calls like that for after work or out of earshot of your customers. Fourth, I feel I was also overcharged. It was 3 studs and took all of 15 minutes, but I was charged $170. My 2 inch by 2 inch tattoo was only $150 at a different shop and that took an hour and a half. Overall, I would not recommend this shop to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, professional piercing experience. I can't speak on their tattooing but I would reckon it's similar. read more
