I really wanted to like this place, but the service from the bartender was very cold. I felt like I was putting him out just being there, and this has happened multiple times. The drinks are decent and the food isn't crazy expensive, so those are all encouraging. But overall, it wasn't a place I felt welcomed at, so I'm unlikely to return again anytime soon. read more

Dropped into Lucky 7 Tavern for an afternoon happy hour. It started out a bit slow, but things definitely picked up, and the place had a fun, lively buzz as more people rolled in. Service was on the slower side, but the staff was friendly, engaging, and kept things positive. Beer selection was solid. I went with the Silver City Tropic Haze, which was excellent and a great match for the afternoon. We ordered the happy hour wings and tots--easy 4 stars. If you're lucky enough to come on a Tuesday that offer "Naughty Bingo" which brings a fun crowd PLUS it is taco Tuesday which is 5 dollars for two tacos! Went for their dirty bingo night on Valentine's day. This place is definitely a dive bar so with that in mind it's a solid 4 stars considering the type of place! Parking is easy, there is a small parking lot in front and a sign mentions parking behind the building also available. This place is in a strip mall attached to a few other businesses. Service was really good, I was checked on several times. The nachos I had were good, the ground beef seasoned well and they were generous with the toppings. The place is large tons of tables, darts, and other games to play. The restroom didn't have toilet paper in either stall and it wasn't re-filled the entire time I was there so be prepared and double check if needed! It was cute they had chalk boards in the stalls to hopefully encourage people to write on those instead of the walls of the bathroom! read more

Not only is this a great locals bar that I frequent every Thursday and Friday to mingle with friends and acquaintances, and sing some karaoke, it's good for walk ins and one offs too. The bar staff and servers are fun, friendly and efficient. The post covid layout is free flowing and open. As a bonus, the kitchen pumps out great grub and the menu is extensive. Entertainment is a wide variety with a Sunday blues jam, Monday industry night, naughty bingo Tuesday, trivia Wednesday, karaoke Thursday and Friday with Thursdays offering some great prizes just for singing. Lucky 7 has been around for a long time and I assume that many of the folks that we saw were regulars. They have TV's and a big screen and it is a "watch site" on college football game days for the Nebraska football fans, but other TV's showing games as well. And Nebraska fans are very cool and great to be around regardless of your team loyalty if you have one. Menu is a bit more upscale than just burgers and fries with several great salad and sandwich options and breakfast as well! Portions are good and quality has been as well. They remodeled to make this a more open and user friendly facility as well as adding outdoor seating which is great! read more

Well upon leaving my husband and I got into a debate whether this was in fact the worst bar in Kirkland. It's definitely a top contender. Let's break it down. First thing first, it's weird that they have a little side restaurant area when this is clearly a crappy bar. Like why bother? Food is bad but not necessarily cheap. The sampler plate was terrible with everything just kinda dumped in a pile. Like no one even bothered to place like items together, which had been my experience ordering similar plates. Moving on, bartender clearly hated her job. She was eating at the bar and when another customer asked her about it, she complained that there was no where to eat in the back but they aren't supposed to eat at the bar either. Ok, not what I want to hear about when I'm trying to enjoy a snack and game. Lastly, the place is pretty dirty and dingy. I'm ok not going back. Went here from a Groupon offer I had. This place is nothing spectacular, but does have a nice feel to it. The location is a great get together for friends and group gatherings. Lucky 7 advertises it self as a restaurant as well, which is misleading. Although they have a restaurant style menu, the service and ambiance is far from that. The food prices are pretty spendy, especially for appetizers. I imagine its because they count on drunks ordering it not knowing the prices, but still, its spendy. Sodas are $2.00, which is a nice perk. Overall, the service from the bartender was great but I did not see any of the other employees really working which was surprising. I have been coming here for two years a little rustic but it was cleaned up. Band Music has increased still need more upbeat tunes. We have had a tough time over the last five years. I have been having friends come by or meet me. Sar 6 of us were coming by to watch football. I got there early and no games were on. I inquired and the watress said she did not know of any games. I checked with other bar patrons wanted to see the games. The watress/bar mgr found the Titans and Buccaneers. I got two calls and five other guys were going to come over. About twenty minutes later she comes over and says she has to change the channel. No football games were now on in the bar. She was rude when Iasked after I had ordered a drink and food. I then asked for my tab and left calling the other guys,"No football" so we diverted to a competing bar. Six guys buying drinks and food. Then our wives came over and had dinner too. I cannot stress enough: do not come here for breakfast. I just had the most disappointing experience. Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Was served the dinner. When I asked why I didn't get the breakfast the waiter told me they didn't have it. I looked right at the menu and there was chicken fried steak and eggs. No apology was made for his error AT ALL. his solution was to just not come back to the table. Aside from that the food was terrible too. The mashed potatoes tasted like water and garlic powder. The gravy was far too peppery. My companions omelette was so over cooked the eggs were brown and rubbery. The hash browns are the kind you get from McDonald's. Terrible service over the weekend. Waited 10 minutes for service, were presented menus, then 22 minutes, of not coming returning to ask for the order, we left. We were not presented a bill, three waitresses behind the new bar, talking, looking at their stupid cell phones, my how this place has changed with new ownership. The old owner used to work every day and service was immediate, within 30 seconds after you walked in the door. I will never return. UFC + Divey = My favorite place to hang out. I am always there to hang out with fellow mma fans and watch the big Pay per view fights (Coz i dont like to spend $60-$100 to watch at home. Also my wife prefers if i watch any combat sports at least 100 ft away from home). They have no cover, and they setup few more tables for big fights with about a dozen screens. It gets pretty crowded right around the Main card of the big fights. Oh and feel free to ask and they will turn the volume up, if you are early. The waitresses are cute and super attentive.. I'm not sure why people deal with the assholish attitude of these workers. 20+ years as a bartender, I never treat people as if they are a bother just for walking in the door. Our server couldn't crack a smile if you tipped her a 20 on a 20. We've been here multiple times. Weekends, brunch, weekday evenings, etc. And each time we've had different bartenders and servers... that's what leads me to believe that they actually hire people who are bitchy. read more
