A pretty cool find up in Kirkland. We got the calamari which was actually super delicious. The burger and fajitas as well. The food was good, just a tad pricier than normal for what it was. Inside was clean and the view is gorgeous. The service was good, she checked up on us a couple of times and overall friendly.

The staff was very nice and attentive, helped us with everything. I loved the location, the waterfront was gorgeous! We had the Pesto Burrata and the Spicy Prawns as appetizers and they were delicious!!! I would definitely order them again. The burger was okay, but I really like the yam fries. The regular fries were fantastic and crispy. Everyone loved the food and we will definitely be back again!!!

This is a great spot for casual vibes with a great view. My party of 7 decided to order several dishes to share. We had the buffalo wings, thai chili wings, spicy prawns, fish & chips, chips & dip, and teriyaki chicken sesame salad. Everything was delicious. I would definitely order the buffalo wings and spicy prawns again. Service was also very patient and accommodating with my large party. We didn't feel rushed at all even after paying our bill. The parking lot is very small but there is plenty of free street parking, which is convenient.

Prime Rib Dip, $23 - 3.5 Stars

The BeachHouse bar + grill along the Kirkland waterfront is one of the old charming spots that some of us old timers still remember as Foghorn. The structure is largely the same with nautical white paint vibe inside. The parking lot outside is tiny, best to find parking along the streets or side streets. I purposely met friends at 1:30pm for a lunch adjacent time. We were able to walk in and get a table without reservations. The restaurant thinned during our visit allowing us to stay longer. Our waitstaff was extra kind and patient as our group chatted before ordering and chatted after the check arrived. Thank you for that. The Food: Prime Rib Dip, $23 - 3.5 Stars Baguette, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, creamy horseradish, and au jus make a classic prime rib dip. The meat is plentiful. I ate half the sandwich only. The fries arrived cooler than room temperature and not crispy. I ate a few and stopped eating them. Minus 0.5 stars for cold fries. All the leftovers warmed up well for hubby's dinner with the air fryer to the rescue. Prices might seem high for a sandwich, but any meal less than $30 with a view of the water is a-ok for me. Rounding up due to good service. Our water cups were refilled regularly.

Food was the best I had the Spicy seafood Pasta and wings for an appetizer. Drinks were the best. This place was amazing. The staff was the best. I loved my view. This is going to be my go to restaurant. Lizzy was the best waitress. She recommended some good food from the menu.

Gorgeous gorgeous view! I lucked out and flew into Seattle on the first sunny day of the year and celebrated by going to BeachHouse bar + grill with my girls! We came after a workout class and thought that we might be a bit too casual but then we saw another group of girls wearing all athleisure as well-- and we knew we were in the right place. Parking is tight here, I believe there are 5 or so stalls but there is plenty of street parking around. I circled around a few times and then lucked out and got a street parking spot right in front of the restaurant. My lovely friend's made a reservation and it was pretty busy -- so I'd suggest making one, especially as Washington starts having more sunny days ahead! All three of us got the seafood cob salad and we split two orders of fries, one regular and one garlic fries. They also have sweet potato fries! Service is great but the ambiance is really what makes it 5-stars! The view here and sharing fries with friends--- that's what life is all about!

First time here today and was pleasantly surprised by the great service and friendly staff. From getting seated to being served our food-- thank you! I got the fish tacos and my husband got the Beach House Burger. Tacos were filling and full of flavor. The burger was great too. We will be back!

There is a very small parking lot and then free street parking. We went on a week day after work and were able to get a table right away and choose to get a table outside to enjoy the sunny beautiful slipping into fall weather. The service was great. Our waitress was mindful of my dairy allergy and checked in and stayed on top of refills. One downside side was the aggressive and hungry ducks. The food - I liked the Thai wings - nice crunch and good sticky flavor. The chicken was good and the siracha aioli added the right amount of heat. The truffle fries were also good. You will love the view and it was a good place to catch with a friend as we never felt rushed.

This place is right on the water so come for the view. The food is just ok. We started with the Cajun shrimp which was the best dish we had. Lunch was birria tacos which were very greasy, fish tacos which were tasty and seafood Cobb which was very fishy smelling and tasting. The champagne was warm. Our waiter, Sam, was very nice.

I came here about a month ago with a friend and it took close to an hour for us to receive our food, and once it finally came, my salmon was undercooked in the middle and the vegetables were cold. We were barely checked on throughout the entire time we were there.

Stopped in on a Saturday for brunch and cheers with a friend. (Why haven't I been here before?!) We cozied up to the bar which was perfect for catching up. Pros -Beautiful water view and cozy ambiance - perfect service - at most restaurants, I've felt sitting at the bar and ordering full service, you can get hit and miss attention. This experience was perfect- friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. - loved my veggie bowl, added fried tofu. Good mix of flavors and texture and not too saucy. Need to know: - the seats at the bar are comfortable- perfect to cozy up and catch up with a friend. However they are low compared to the height of the bar (or maybe the bar is high?) and don't compliment each other. Doable for drinks but uncomfortable to eat. I ended up picking up my plate and holding my salad which probably looked weird, but i couldn't reach my plate. I needed a booster seat, -parking can be tough. There's a handful of spots in front, otherwise, neighborhood parking. Convenient crosswalk in front of the building. -bathrooms are located upstairs I need to go back to enjoy the view and try everything!

Fried Chicken Sliders

My family loves BeachHouse and comes here often. We decided to drop by on a Thursday evening because my mom didn't really feel like cooking. There was no wait time and we were seated quickly. Thé spicy prawns are our favourite dish. I think we could literally come here and order four and all eat one. The cajun cream sauce is delectable and I love that they switched to thinner, crunchier bread for a better bread to gravy ratio. We always order extra bread with this dish so we don't waste a single drop of it. Our server was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of all night. I only wish she had taken our order down instead of trying to remember it because in my sliders I asked for pickles and two other ingredients on the side but instead my order came with aioli on the side and the pickles in my slider. I don't like the taste of pickles and it was annoying to have to pick them off my burger when I had specifically asked for them on the side. The sliders were really yummy. I loved he texture of the chicken which was crispy without being too oily. The creamy aioli added the perfect kick of spice and flavour, pairing perfectly with the melting cheese. The barbecue quesadillas were a total miss for our family because of our personal preferences. We didn't realise it was barbecue sauce because that part was hidden by the bottom corner of the menu leather. We find barbecue sauce to be too sickly sweet and don't really enjoy it ok anything other than wings. My mom was able to take the quesadillas home and add to them so my family could enjoy them. We can't wait to come back to this restaurant as it's one of our favourites. Thanks for a great experience every time.

We are used to mediocore foods at places like this; and to find the foods to be so delicious was very pleasant surprise. Service was great; we got seated right away and taken care of. We sat outside since it was a nice day and we had our pup with us. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And its right by the lake; (sunset was on point when we went) What we got: Fried kalamari (4.5/5) *not pictured Very creative! Its more of a fried calamari salad; served in a chinese style to go box; i think we found it cool. The calamari was nicely fried; and the breading has sesame seed powder? I think it was delicious! And pair it with the bitter leaves; and some kind of soy dressing. Fried smashed potato (5/5) Delicious! Love some good smashed and deep fried potatoes; and nicely pair with the morney sauce. 1/2 crab fried (5/5) This is sooooo good. It was nicely fried, plated and taste delicious with the aioli and fried basil and everything else that came with it. We also got a couple drinks that were pretty good (not picture) Lots of option when it comes to the drinks Overall it was a good choice to stop by here. Prices reflect the kind of restaurant it is and what it serves; no surprises there.

Ristorante Paradiso is a long time Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Kirkland. I have…read morebeen coming here for as long as I can remember (20 to 30 years maybe, so long that I didn't realize I never wrote a review). This restaurant has been well received for both business dinners and personal dinners. They are old school charming Italian (not to be confused with American Italian). The service is often warm and charming. The restaurant is painted with warm tones and artworks of villas. Business partners from foreign countries often find this restaurant adorable. The menu has some hits-and-misses, but we have settled on our favorites by now. My hubby orders their lasagna as his favorite; he often orders it early since it's a longer time to cook. I recently visited with girlfriends, so extra desserts are involved. Lol. The Food: Salmone Piccata, $32 - 4.5 Stars Menu: Fresh salmon filet, capers, lemon, garlic, white wine sauce This is my standing order - a good size piece of salmon rests on veggies with a wonderful wine sauce. It's light, it's a repeatable dish, and I don't feel guilty afterwards. Tartufo Classico - 4.5 Stars Menu: Chocolate Gelato, zabaglione cream center, covered with crushed caramelized hazelnuts and cocoa powder Tiramisu - 4 Stars Menu: Ladyfinger biscuits, espresso coffee, mascarpone cheese, and whipped cream Curse my sweet tooth friend who convinced us to order not one but two desserts to share. The tartufo is more unique, and somewhat reminds me of a much better Ferrero Rocher. I particularly like the cool gelato. The tiramisu is of course the classic. If I am sharing with hubby, the tartufo is the easy win.

My wife had never been here, and for me it had been over 10 years, so we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing. On the positive side, the bread was good, the burrata appetizer was tasty, and my Marsala chicken wasn't too bad. However, my wife's Linguine Tutta Mare was not good at all. The mussels tasted completely off and had a bad smell. I tried them myself and they were fishy, not how mussels are supposed to taste. We told our waiter, and he kind of brushed it off, saying they get their seafood in daily and that mussels can sometimes be "that way." He gave no apology and no real acknowledgment to the issue, but just cleared our plates and walked away. To top it all off, they were out of the Panna Cotta, which was the dessert I'd been looking forward to. The other options didn't appeal to us as much, but we settled for them anyway. Afterwards, we still felt a little hungry. For our first lunch date in a while, this was a real letdown. Definitely not worth $35 per person.

On that night the Grand Bistro proved itself welcoming and satisfying. We returned this Christmas Eve with my aunt (who has memory problems) and my 102 year-old grandmother and found the experience even more uplifting. Throughout, the service was attentive, patient, and kind. (I think his name was Ryan!) The food - yes, the menu is smaller than before, and these are also different times - was terrific. We began with the beet and house salads, which gently anticipated the entrées. (We also had the bread service, which has earned growls in other reviews. Three notes on this. First of all, the service costs $9. Second, Sea Wolf Bakery - which supplies the bread - charges $6 retail for a small baguette, not including the whipped crème fraîche butter and garlic confit that the restaurant provides. This is not an agonizing mark-up. Consider that the first red wine on Canlis' wine list costs $40-50 retail but $130 to drink at the restaurant! Third, the bread is actually tasty - like French bread is supposed to taste but rarely does in the U.S.) I ordered a Last Word cocktail (the Grand Bistro is the only restaurant that I've seen in months with Green Chartreuse on hand) which shone bright; two others at my table had a non-alcoholic sparkling wine that could have fooled me. My main course was the cod special: the fish was cooked just right and the accompaniments - bok choy and a purée - were glorious. My aunt and grandmother ordered the mussels - the one they let me sample made me wish they had offered more! My wife's beef bourguignon was comforting and robust - exactly what you would hope for at a place like this. And then there was dessert! The sticky pudding was strong, the pot de crème wonderfully velvet (with a delicious cookie atop it), and the special foie gras ice cream an absolute show-stopper. Meanwhile, the atmosphere was lovely. We arrived just as the sun was setting over Lake Washington and got the best of the view. The place is bustling but mellow - not as harsh as a Parisian bistro can be. My wife asked me permission to leave a very large tip - she's never done that before. I said yes. Nous reviendrons!

Regarding the food: the boeuf sauce is a light red, whereas with the previous chef it was a thicker, darker red. It seems to contain too much flour, has an overpowering bacon aroma, and the overall taste is just average. The chicken now comes pre-cut; we preferred the previous style where we cut it ourselves, as it stayed juicier. The new chef is also quite skimpy with the sauce, which is disappointing. And the sorbet is our sugar overpowering the fruit and not as "icey" as I wanted. On a positive note, the crudo was generous and had plenty of fish.
