I'm so glad I did! It was about 7 minutes off the main road but very easy to get to. I tried an everything bagel with jalapeño bacon cream cheese. Omg the cream cheese was so good!! The counter service was super quick and the girls working were very nice. I was impressed by the variety of the menu, many different kinds of bagels and cream cheeses, bagel sandwiches, and lots of different delicious sounding coffee drinks and flavorings. They also sold their own everything bagel seasoning and homemade chicken salad etc. it was a great little spot to stop! And the dining area was very sizable if you're looking to sit down and eat.

Mind you they ran out one hour and fifty two minutes before closing on a Saturday. This is not a new business nor a fluke. I have previously experienced and heard customers complain about the slim pickings to choose from and low quantities of those bagels still available. They call themselves a bagel shop? Maybe they'd do better if they forget about selling bagels and sell gasoline instead. Less chance of running out and more happy customers likely even its over four dollars a gallon. Won't be back.

For those of you looking for a true, authentic, hole-in-the-wall bagel shop, look no further…read morebecause "JT's Bagels" will absolutely have you covered. I've eaten at bagel shops when visiting New York City and I've got to tell you, JT's Bagels are as close as you get with absolutely amazing service. Located directly on E. Main Rd. in the small community of Conneaut, this family owned and operated business has been in operation since around 2016. It is on the most easternmost point of Ohio before you hit the Pennsylvania border which is why quite a few people come here traveling from the I-90 highway. As far as the exterior, they do have a fairly decent sized parking lot. I also wanted to point out that they're opened for business 7 days a week; Monday through Saturday from 5:30am-2:00pm and Sunday from 7:00am-2:00pm. This is great for those early birds that wish to get their bagel fix bright and early and well before the crack of dawn. The interior is also quite charming with a few tables for dining in, a neat little display area, and large glass displays showcasing their vast amount selection of bagels. Since I was in the mood for a yummy breakfast bagel, I decided to go with their "Bacon, Egg, & Cheese" bagel (for $6.00) on a cheese flavored bagel. Since it was only a five-minute drive from the Airbnb that I was staying at, I decided to order this to-go. Once arriving at my Airbnb, I was immediately sold with how thick and soft the bagel was. One bite of this and I was absolutely sold. It packed so much denseness while being flavorful, spongy, and a nice chewy texture to it; just the way a bagel should be made. They also included a fluffy scrambled egg and two strips of smoked bacon which perfected this sandwich. I've got to say, their selection is quite impressive with over a dozen bagel varieties as well as over a dozen cream cheese selections. They even carry muffins, bagel chips, Danishes, and regular house coffee. And if you decide to come here for lunch, they have a respectable amount of salads and sandwiches, including "Club", "BLT", Chicken Salad", "Egg Salad", and much more. All in all, "JT's Bagels" is as good as it gets when it comes to an authentic bagel shop. And you don't even need to take a subway or taxi to get here. Hats off to the staff for amazing service, very decent prices, and some of the tastiest bagels in all of Ohio. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

The case was full of tempting choices, and everything looked amazing. The maple cream donut was absolute heaven -- the glaze had just the right touch of maple to balance the thick, tender dough. The edges were perfectly crispy, and the texture was unlike any donut I've ever had. The glazed twist was equally delicious. The coffee was very good, though a little too hot to enjoy right away. The only real downside was the lack of seating -- no tables or chairs inside, despite the large open lobby, and no benches outside either. We ended up eating in the car. That said, the donuts were so good we went back in for more. Definitely worth the stop! It was so good, we brought friends with us the following morning because donuts this good need to be shared with friends. And best of all...maybe prices were insanely cheap!!! That is before I quit drinking coffee and eating bagels every morning. The hazelnut is the bomb with just a touch of cream. The bagels are great and there is a good selection of them. Most mornings they are still hot from being cooked- no need to toast if you are getting butter or cream cheese- it will melt right in and it is delicious. My favorite is the asiago bagel with some butter. Yumm. My wife is partial to the sesame with cream cheese which is also a winner. They have breakfast sandwiches as well which are great. At least once a quarter I would call ahead and order bagels and coffee for the office. I would get there and everything would be ready. They would help me load my car and off I went. Always a big hit with my employees. Lunch is great here too. They have ham sandwich that is really tasty. The turkey is good too. I think that you get bag of chips or something with lunch but I can't remember- it's been a little while since I had lunch there. The best thing about this place is the owner. After we moved I didn't go back to Einstein's for about a year. As soon as I walked in, she picked up exactly where we left off. When I bring my son in, she always has something to give him. Service with a smile is an understatement with her. Stop in and check it out- you'll be happy that you did.

You'll find interesting bagel flavors here (such as egg, cinnamon cranberry, and onion) and merch (tees, hoodies, Mish Mosh seasoning, greeting cards, and stickers). My order: - Asiago Bagel - Toasted with Smokie Salmon Schmear ($5) - Bagel was over toasted, dry, and too salty. Schmear was more like lightly whipped cream cheese, not flavorful. Barely there salmon is the best way to describe it. - Cinnamon Cranberry Bagel with Brown Sugar Cinnamon Schmear ($5) - Bagel tasted like plain bagel. Schmear very light on flavor. - Mish Mosh Bagel ($2) - Plain, not toasted. It's their version of everything bagel. I ordered this bagel because I overheard it being a popular choice while waiting for my order. It's way too salty, and I love salt. It didn't taste freshly made this morning and tasted not fully made inside. - Coffee ($2.50 for 2 small coffees): Flavorless and barely warm coffee. The menu is pretty well outlined on multiple signs at checkout. It clearly indicates up charges and premium topics. If you purchase bagels dozen, you'll get one bagel for free. Other options are sammies, bialy wheels, and bialy sticks. Most customers ordered baker dozen during my visit. Service: Service was alright. I felt a lot of pressure to order (especially as the first timer). Other guests were pretty rushed too. Checkout did not make much sense too. If you order a dozen bagels, they'll take your order in line. If you order a single bagel with schmear or sandwiches, you must go to the checkout counter and repeat your entire order. Service was quick, my order was up quickly and all customers were addressed in a timely manner. Parking: Parking lots are available in the front and the back of the store. The bagel shop is in a little strip mall area. If you're looking for a wallet-friendly bagel, this is the place to be. If you're looking for bold flavors or more standard bagel experience, it's probably best to venture out. I unfortunately personally didn't enjoy any part of my meal but appreciated the low prices.

I ordered a large Diet Coke, but soon after I left I took a sip and realized it was regular Coke - full sugar. I'm diabetic, so I returned and went inside to swap out the drink (the drive thru line was long now). After a minute I explained to the young lady that I got the wrong drink, and could she please replace it for me. Immediately she got snippy with me and said "get that off of the counter, you have to throw it in the trash". I asked if she could take care of that for me, to she replied "I'm not touching that - it has your germs all over it". It was then I noticed that she was wearing a covid mask (this is July, 2024) and I thought why would anyone throw a 32 oz. drink in the trash? What if the bag leaked? I asked to please get my drink, which she did, then said again "throw that in the trash, you touched it and your germs are all over it"! I replied "you handed it to me, so your germs are all over it, too". Then a young man came over and said "what's your problem"? I explained that I wanted a Diet Coke to which he replied "we didn't ring it up like that"! I asked whose fault that was? They didn't give me a new straw, so I took my old one out and out it in my drink and said "Thank you, have a good evening". The young man replied "You don't have a good evening." I walked to the door and could hear them both mumbling so I turned around to hear what they had to say. I couldn't make all of it out but did hear "asshole" and something about germs again. They finally saw me still standing there and went silent. I was at this location on July 7th, 2024 between 3:30 and 3:45 in the afternoon. The young lady was short and very thin, with a mask on and the young man was about 5'-10" with dark hair, both were approximately high school age. My thought is that if you're a germaphobe you probably shouldn't work in a public place. Secondly, I'm a husband and father, a contractor and vocational instructor and I'll be damned if I'm going to be disrespected like these two did today. I've been a customer of Brian and Jen's franchises in Erie ever since they move here from Canada and I know they would be shocked to hear of this at one of their restaurants. They will hear about this the next time I see them. Now, what do you intend to do about this? UPDATE: 6/16/24 - I contacted Tim Horton's and asked for someone to contact me regarding this, both online and via phone call - no one has returned my call. I guess they just don't care!
