I came in just to get quarters for the machines, and the man working there (who I believe is the manager or owner) was immediately unhelpful and rude. Before I even had a chance to go to my car and grab my laundry, he approached me questioning whether I was going to wash there. I explained I just wanted to get change first so I wouldn't have to carry everything in unnecessarily, but instead of assisting, he made the situation uncomfortable. Shortly after, the quarter machine was turned off, and he acted as if he had no control over it, which didn't seem honest. The interaction felt targeted and unnecessary. I didn't feel welcomed as a customer at all. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The washer machines (medium sized) smelled dirty. The hand wash area is dirty. Sink was broken. No paper towels either.

The nice lady Darlene was very understanding when I told her that my clothes in the washer smelled like rotten eggs when I opened the door!!! I guess they needed to change a filter or something? But luckily she was so cool to give me back my money and then she sincerely apologized. FYI there was only that one washer that had that funky smell, thank God!! The only thing that sucked about this place is that the restroom says it's out of order... Which is hard to believe. another thing is they barely have anything in the vending machine only a few boxes of detergent... No snacks!!:( The parking lot is kind of small, and very busy, but having 7-11 next door is very convenient! I came here today with my friend who demanded we come to this one instead of my favorite one ( Rio Laundry Mat), because she lives close by. And I might be back again sometime! First of all, the laundromat is well air-conditioned, all the machines work, the facility is clean, and there's surveillance cameras all around which makes me feel extra safe. Lucky walks around the laundromat offering help, which is so nice. He is just a really kind and helpful person. Yikes! I don't know how they are getting all these great reviews. My standards my be really high or are they all like this? I usually don't do laundry at coin laundry places. Thinking Encino was a pretty decent area I thought I would give this place a try. The owner seems nice but the place is trash. Along with trash on the floors everywhere along with being dirty, a guy proceeded to take off his clothes to wash them, or whatever he was doing. First of all let me Start off saying that The staff are absolutely sweethearts, I had a massive load of laundry and my husband did not want me to be at the laundromat for five hours So he took it to Lucky coin laundry and They've done my laundry. Let me explain something to you I did lots of sold many of times, this was one of the best places ever, they pack and wash all neatly and most of the stuff they meetly put it on hangers and put plastic around it. I use the fluff-n-fold service regularly; my clothes come back with pants and shirts on hangers, and towels, etc VERY neatly and precisely folded and bagged! I don't know where the high reviews are coming from BUT.... DO NOT come here on Saturday or Sunday, if it can be avoided. Way TOO busy. No dryers available. AND their fluff n food business takes up the majority of the machines. It's FILTHY, too, on the weekends. I mean BIOHAZARD dirty. I've been here on the weekdays, too and it's a little better. The area between washing machine rows are STUPIDLY narrow and makes the simplest of clothes removal impossible if there is another person opposite you. Many people bring BIG suitcases of clothes, too and that makes it more difficult to do one load. There is no place to sit except for one very uncomfortable, dirty bench that fits two people, max. Prices are average: $2.00, $3.25, and $4.25 for washes; .25 cents for 10 minutes of drying. The ONLY good news is that there are not a lot of "out of order" machines IF you can get one. Bottom line: Find another place. read more

I simply love this place! "Lucky" is the owner's name. I drop my laundry off here every other week on average. They've never lost an article of clothing, the clothes always come back super-clean and smelling wonderful. They'll put your hangable items on hangers too! I ask them not to for me, but what a professional touch. Like the drycleaners do! The folks that work there have that 'glass half-full' attitude and there are words of inspiration posted in the office area to remind us all to stay positive! Thank you Lucky and company! Not sure how this place gets as many stars at it does. I was there on a Sunday and will never come back. It's expensive compared to other places and you don't get much for your dollar. They have new model washers and half the dryers look updated, but not very well maintained. The carts are dirty, the washer detergent areas are gross, and can't get change for no more than a $5 bill which didn't work for half my bills. Only gave 2 stars for updated machines. read more

Horrible someone stole my clothes right out the dryer walked outside for 15mins and came back inside and poof gone. I know who it was he was no where to be found strange he had lots of clothes he was folding when I placed mine in the dryer. I have filed a police report just ghetto ass laundry I have been to laundromats in Compton and no one has ever stole my clothes! Will never be back. Ok, just gotta say. This laundromat has potential. But needs more cleaning. No paper towels and place was a mess. Outside well... Pressure washing cost is not that pricey. I got a chance to talk to Lucky (the owner) today, who explained his two goals are: 1) to maintain the equipment, so it provides good value to his customers, and 2) provide his customers a safe and secure environment to do their laundry. Towards the first goal, he said the washers spin to extract as much water as possible (hence much less work for the driers), and he's set the temp of driers to maximum (200 deg) and cleans the lint filters daily to ensure they're operating at peak efficiency. To the second goal, the laundromat has a well-lit parking lot, and there's many security cameras inside (and an employee on duty); all done to make customers feel safe and secure. Lucky is a friendly, down-to-Earth guy, and I wish him all the luck and success in the World! read more

The washers and dryers were great and had 3 different sizes. Small laundry soap, softener, dryer sheets, and even hangers available for purchase in a dispensable machine. $1.25 per pound for the fluff and fold which is only a little more expensive than the fluff and fold. This was my first time using this laundromat. I will never be coming back. The washing machines themselves worked and my laundry got done, though the experience was less than desirable. I was minding my own business when a woman comes over she started filming me and taking pictures of me and showing them to me on her phone. The entire time I was drying my laundry she was taking pictures and recording me. I went to the owner and he said he would not do anything, that I had to handle the situation. I used their fluff and fold service and was very pleased! I had a lot of laundry from weeks of delaying doing laundry and they handled it like champs. Everyone who I interacted with were incredibly pleasant and kind. I had arrived on a Monday and was able to pick up Tuesday. Unfortunately, I was swamped and didn't get to pick up my clothes until Thursday, but they were kind and patient. The clothes were organized and cleaned perfectly and they hung almost all my items (no wrinkles!). They put a lot of care and time into their work and I would trust them with any of my clothes.
