All the years that I had been dropping my son off at school nearby...I could have been washing my clothes at Erica's!! It's a gem. Washers and dryers are always clean and pleasant smelling. The attendant on duty is always there and very helpful!! Prices per usage is very good. I found myself paying less than at the place I had been going for years. They also will do your laundry for you if you don't have the time. Parking is limited but there are pockets of time where it's not busy. It's also near a bus line as well but I never had any issues. I cannot recommend Erica's Laundry Service in Reseda enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless. They were quick, incredibly friendly, and so accommodating. My laundry has never felt this soft or looked this perfectly folded -- it was like unwrapping a present! I was able to get my boyfriends and I laundry washed very quickly. We had a lot of things to do so we thought we would try this out. We really got the bang for our buck. Very pleasant staff and quick response. I wish you guys delivered and pick up your Sherman oaks! I will be returning regardless! $100 for all our laundry done in 5 hours. I'm updating this review to say that this laundry service is really excellent! Just last week, I spilled a whole bowl of Pho on my sheets( don't ask... no more soup in bed for me) and when I got the sheets back from Erica's, there was no trace of the soup stain at all! I also want to add that Erica's laundry has been available for many holidays and we have not had a problem in the years we have been using their service. There are not enough words for me to express, how great this place is. They are super clean, sparkling and shiny washing machines and dryers. Well aired, with toys for kids. I have seen food trucks, pizza parties, and even got free bottle of cold water on a hot day from the owner. Sam the owner is such a kind soul. He is well mannered person, always greeting me with a big and warm smile. FLUFF & FOLD IS A LIFE SAVER! I live in a studio guest house with my boyfriend and we don't have a washer and dryer. At Erica's Laundry we drop off our laundry once a week and it's ready the next day at a very reasonable price per pound. If we drop it off early enough, sometimes it's even ready the same day. The women that work there are always really sweet & happy to help with anything. They call when the clothes are ready and will also call if there is ever a delay (sometimes I ask for same day and they are just unable to make it happen so they call and notify me). Knocked off one star because... - not a fan of the scent - when the laundry mat is open late, they don't let you pick up clothes past 5 for items in fluff and fold. Still, these reasons don't keep us from dropping off our laundry for fluff and fold. It's very convenient and local and a huge time saver. read more

Big load machines work well and are quick. They also suds up very fast. The dryers are all different so ask the attendant about the best ones. The staff is very nice and friendly. There was a constant stream of customers picking up their fluff and fold which gave me a good vibe about the place. Only set back...no a/c but just hang out in your car or outside. This was the first time going to this location. I didn't like it. I went there and used the washing machine. There was absolutely no air conditioning. I don't know if there is suppose to be. It was hot as heck. I find going to coin laundries a big waste of time but I'm going because I have to. My time is precious to me. And he washing machine was fine but when I got to my dryer... It wasn't working. The air was cold... The lady said the other machines work better and moved me and gave me my money back but whose gonna give me my time back? They should initially tell you instead of making 40 minutes go by without drying my clothes. Please put a out of order sign!! read more

Do not go to Erica's, it's a waste of money. You go and use the laundry machine's which that doesn't cause stress, but on the dryers, that is the one thing this place uses you to get all that money. You add 2 loads to the machine and it keeps wanting quarters and quarters, I used $3 dollars just to get 2 blankets to finally dry. One should just go and wash the clothes, but to dry you really need those quarters, because that is where they put the heat on low, even though you put it on high, so they can catch people in putting the quarters over and over again. read more

The employee was pretty rude she watched me loading up my soap, oxyclean and small 4x6 rug into a machine. I'd been in there about ten minutes and as I'm about to put my money in she finally decides to tell me that my item may be too big and then suggests a larger machine. Then after suggesting a larger machine, she suggests I go to an entirely different place and that I could look on my phone. She said the owner would punish her if I loaded my rug into the machine. Wouldn't the owner punish you for turning away easy business ? I will forego this place in the future such a shame. I have used this coin laundry two times. Both times I arrive to a very clean place. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. All the machines work great. I have seen the staff clean the machines when the traffic is slow. And of course this makes me comfortable to come and use the equipment. They have free Wi-Fi, vending machine with snacks, another vending machine with laundry supples and one video game to kill time. They also sell other bigger versions of laundry supples and they have a bill changing machine. In one corner they have a small television with sitting area for you to wait. read more

Today was the second weekend in a row that I've come to this laundromat, opting to neglect the machines I have in my complex. To find that this laundromat is clean and well attended by friendly staff is a delight. My only complaint is that a lot of the dryers don't adequately do the job. This most recent visit, I had to try three different dryers to find one that worked on high heat. It cost more money and took more time to do my laundry this week. Not wanting to spend a small fortune to either dry clean or to fluff-and-fold 3 heavy twin comforter/bedspreads, I chose to launder them myself at Erica's, the laundrymat that I chose based on proximity and reviews on Yelp. I was very pleased with Erica's new machines, the cleanliness of the facility, and the spot-on assistance & advice I received from both the lady who worked there and another woman who was doing her own laundry. The employee suggested I use a single 6-load machine for all 3 quilts. The other woman suggested that I dry each quilt in its own separate dryer to maximize their coming out fluffy. I have come here twice and used their machines, both time the dryers did NOT work at all, clothes were in them for a good hour and still came out damp, big waste of my time! The place was also extremely hot both times, they don't have any AC & it's such a pain to sit in there. (If only the dryers got as hot as the room does).. I went earlier today to change my money into quarters so that I could use the machines in my apartment building, I usually avoid using them because they're so expensive, but I thought it would be better to use them then use machines that don't do their purpose! I used to come here for years, but lately the dryers don't work too well and the best ones are always been used by the ladies that work there for the people that brings them their laundry for extra fee. They offer free wifi and it doesn't even work. Is a waste of coins and time, the owner needs to fix all the dryers or they gonna loose more customers! read more

I was hoping not to have to write a negative review, but I had a major problem and the owner, Noelle (or Noelia?) was unwilling to resolve it. So here goes... Due to some plumbing problems at home, I had to do my laundry at a coin-op place. Erica's was close to home. Not thrilled with small size of the washers but oh well. Put in 4 loads; by the time I put in my last load, I noticed that the first two were already in the spin cycle (must've been a very short, 10 or 15 min. wash cycle) -- too late to add softener. The clothes came out smelling like a dirty washing machine. Ew. OK, maybe they'll get that "April-fresh" smell from the dryer sheets. I put all my clothes in 2 dryers (#9 top & bottom). Since there were so many clothes, I set the temperature to high. Little did I know that "high" meant BURN!!! Yes, all of my bras (some brand-new) got INCINERATED and a few other items got singed/scorched!! The dryer's heat was so intense that I couldn't even touch the clothes to take them out. I nearly burned my fingers in the process. I showed the employee there what happened, and she had me write my info down on an index card, and said that the owner, Noelia, would call me. The employee even took photos of the damage on her phone (coz my "dumb phone" can't!). A few days go by... no word, so I call, but of course she's not there. Several more days pass, and more than a week after the incident, she finally calls. She tells me that bras are not supposed to be put in the dryer, only line-dried, and that most have labels saying so. I tell her that I've been doing laundry for 40 years, both at coin-ops and at home; and NEVER have I had anything even remotely similar happen -- and I've ALWAYS put my bras & undies in the dryer, often on "high." But I've never experienced such a super-hot dryer as this one. I insisted that her dryer was unreasonably hot, that I couldn't even touch the clothes until I let them cool off a bit. She insisted that she tested the dryer and all was according to specs. We just kept going around and around this way, getting nowhere. I told her I'd had to go out and buy all new replacement bras (never mind the other stuff), spending over $160, which I felt she should reimburse me for. She said she "couldn't" (she's the owner; of course she could! She just doesn't want to.) So I told her I'd have no choice but to warn others about her laundromat. All I can say is, beware of the dryers on "high"! And I guess don't expect people to do the decent thing. Very disappointing. read more

If it were possible to give minus stars I would and let me explain why. First of all this is a public laundry mat, correct? Then why is the television set on a Spanish language station FOREVER? I've patronized this laundry mat off and on for large loads for years now and that's the ONLY station the television is EVER set to. So you say "watch television when you get home", so true, then remove that mode of entertainment from the business since a television is not essential in any way to doing laundry BUT if your intent is to provide some sort of entertainment for your patrons while they do their laundry, put it on a channel that the majority of your patrons can understand. Second, how does a laundry mat not have hot water??? Now we all know "stuff" happens, but why wasn't there a sign taped to the front doors on this particular day advising patrons BEFORE THEY GET STARTED that for whatever reason there is no hot water at this time, with an apology??? I loaded up my laundry, made my temperature selection, put in the money and began. Only when I asked another patron where was a person who worked there did she share with me (a) that person had left for the day, at 6:30, and (b) there was no hot water!!! WTF?!?! Ok so now I'm stuck. But the reason I needed an attendant was because the other high capacity washer wasn't taking my money after I loaded that one up as well!!! So then I had to UNload it! So while I'm waiting for my cold laundry to be done I look around and multiple washers and dryers are out of order! What is up with this place. On a side note, on a previous occasion I went to do laundry there one evening only to find the place closing an HOUR early because it was the attendants birthday and she wanted to leave early to celebrate! Really?!? Ok so back to the cold laundry, it's finally done and I put it into two dryers only to find that one of them will only take 1 coin!!! This is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous! Going into a business shouldn't be a crap shoot (unless it's a casino)! So after all of that, I took my partially completed laundry and went to a real laundry mat - with hot water, working washers and dryers and a television program that I could understand. I'm done with this place with their lack of consideration and professionalism. Now I'm sure they won't miss my few little quarters but I just wanted folks to know, beware, you'll be entering the laundry mat Twilight Zone where anything could happen!
