Machines are broken or don't work properly. Of the 4 washers that I used, 2 did not perform effectively. My clothes finished "washing" on a 4 and 6 load machine and the washer never pulled my conditioner and bleach. I asked the lady working here if they could restart my machine to manually add the bleach and conditioner- she said no because she can't, and she told me that's the reason we should be paying attention to our machines, and that we are responsible for adding water manually from the sink to the bleach and conditioner container for them to go through. She said that's why the signs are posted. No signs on this unit say such thing. Since she told me to add them and add water, I did so, and my clothes washed on the rinse mode and so never rinsed. All I wanted was for my machines to be restarted. Given that my clothes washed on the rinse mode, they didn't really rinse, i called the number and the person I spoke to said that he would have this fixed. Later on- While I was drying my clothes the lady came back and said she was told to start new washers for me free of charge, at this point my clothes that were not rinsed were being dried and I just needed to go because I have work to catch. I asked her if I could get my money back for those 2 machines and she said no, only 2 paid washers if I run my clothes again. I don't understand why someone is not here physically managing this place in case issues like this happen. I paid 7 dollars for a 6 load and 6 dollars for a 4 load- and I lost this money. Go elsewhere, my recommendation. If you do decide to come here, don't forget to bring a big cup to flush the bleach and conditioner manually in case your machine doesn't pull it properly during the cycle. read more

This place is terrible. I put my comforter into the largest machine, added 2 cups of detergent into the correct slot and pressed "start". When it ended, there was so much soap and it was clear the machine did not work properly. I called the guy over and he just shook his head and reached his hand and discovered the bubbles that were obvious from the outside and shook his head again. I asked him what for $10 to run the machine next to it. He shook his head. He did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish, so I had help of a fellow customer and he continued to shake his head and simply shrugged and started cleaning the floor where the bubbles fell out from opening the door. I hope management makes it right as I left a message, but for now, they have rude and unwilling staff to assist you, also putting in quarter by quarter for a large $10 machine is bunk. Fast service. Paid $76 for 38lbs of laundry with the wash and fold service. The employee did not speak English. The only problem was they didn't accept card because their machine was broken, it happens. The part that irritated me was that they did not return my original laundry bag. Not even worth a 1 star for the employee named Angel and the lady that worked before he started his shift. I washed maybe spent around $55 or more on August,26 around 11pm. The washer stopped working. I told both employees omg they yelled so loud saying you used so much soap. I was like okay, did you even think it could of been that I put a little load of clothes for the big washer I used. I don't know whatever it was, they were rude and embarrassing. They didn't want to give me a refund. I always wash here and the lady in the morning is so nice. I had a problem in the past with a machine. She explained nicely and helped me get a refund with no problem. Night Shift employees are very rude and as soon as I asked Angel for his name, he continued to look at me and follow me even asking if I was going to report him. I felt very uncomfortable. Absolutely love this place, I use them pretty regularly for their wash/dry/fold service and they get all the stains out of my clothes every time. I've never had any clothes go missing, and in the 2 years I've used them I've only ever had one random sock that wasn't mine show up in my laundry when I picked up my stuff. Pro: - They're fast and efficient - They get all the stains out and the colored clothes are always brighter and more vibrant - Never had any missing items Con: - what sort of con is there when I'm saving myself time to do things I enjoy instead of standing around doing laundry?? As of the last time I was there Wash/dry/fold was $1.50/lb + .75(?) for softener if you do the 24hr pick up. $2/lb + .75(?) for softener if you want same day pick up. Worse laundromat ever seen in my life. They still my blanket. After I washed I put it in the dryer to dry. I was sitting in my car after 25 min I came inside I didn't see my blanket in the dryer. My washer at home broke down, so I dropped by here to get my mass of laundry done. It was my first time here, and I probably looked a little lost, so the manager actually approached me and very nicely asked if I needed help. After looking at my load, she gave me suggestions on which machine to use, showed me where the change machine was, and then, she even checked up on me later. I love this Laundry Mat I have been going there for years on and off the place is clean the people that work there are very helpful and it is open 24 hours a day. I like the owner I see him every now and then Erick and he put a big clock on the wall for me because I thought it would be nice to have a clock on the wall to keep track of time so I highly recommend this place if you can't sleep at night and you wanna get out and do a bunch of laundry this is the place to go On Vanowen in that shopping Center on the corner. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (deserves zero stars) If you check my profile, I'm not a regular Yelper. And when I do, it's usually for good service. This IS NOT the case for SOCAL LAUNDRY. Of all people, it was the OWNER himself that was the rudest person I've ever talked to. He answered the phone "laundry". We kindly gave our name and asked if he could tell us when their drop off laundry opens. Not only did he rush his answers but sounded annoyed that we weren't satisfied with his short, curt, answers. We wanted to make sure that the previous INCORRECT info provided over the phone was accurate, as we had been told that there would be someone available 24 hours. When we arrived, the area was locked and we had to go around asking who was in charge (during coronavirus pandemic). The Owner was so rude to my mom, I took over the call, and explained why we just wanted more direction as to the process. He interrupts, raises his voice, and tells us repeatedly that he has over 50 stores and he's got managers to figure things like this out. Almost acting as if answering the phone is beneath him. Why are you answering the phone if you don't know anything and can't assist people and their questions without being RUDE! Here's the worst part. I tell him, "Sir, the way you're talking to a potential customer is really bad. His response, during a pandemic when businesses are closing, was "WELL, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! And HUNG UP!!! Never seen anything like it. If this is how he treats his customers, like they don't matter, and you're the OWNER!!!!! That's pretty bad. They could let me wash for free, anybody that doesn't respect their customers enough to be halfway courteous during these times, I WILL NEVER FREQUENT YOUR BUSINESS. Convenient and Clean. There's always available washers and Dryers. Just in case you forget your detergent, they have a big selection onsite. The only thing I would recommend is to have some Video games for the kids and maybe some sport games for that Dads. read more

So they picked up my clothes,Im texting with the owner. The wife. I thought they were great. She is friendly etc.Her husband picks up my clothes and then her and i dont have any contact until I touch base with her,the next day, to find out what time they would deliver the clothes. I never thought they even started since I never got a final price on the amount. So I cant authorize a purchase without knowing an amount right. Well they charged my debit card without authorization. The amount was over $421.00. I cannot express how livid I am at the fact that they know its against the law to not disclose the purchase amount. I get a receipt that I never signed. By law she is supposed to inform me. Not once did she. She said oh ok.I will do that next time. There will not be a next time. Not only that but I have damaged clothes. Let me add that she put so.much bleach in my white clothes my blouses are falling apart. I am reporting this. They destroyed my clothes, Cherged my debit card without my premission and never provided me the details I requested. It is mandatory to add your card info in order to even begin the process. That should be at the end. Now I know why they have opened so many new places. If there are not holes in them they went from white to faded pink. She never even told me the weight of any clothes, no proof, nothing Just charged my debit card illegally. So this was my experience with these people. I'm fortunate to have washers and dryers at of my apartment complex, but this week our machines were shut down for maintenance so I was forced to find alternative arrangements and this was the closest to me. I understand inflation as this is a business, and not an amenity. However, the smallest load you can do will cost you $2.25! I'm sorry, but that's insane. Most washers/dryers within complexs will cost rougly $1 each. Needless to say I had to go back home to get more change as the $3 I brought wasn't going to cover my wash and dry. read more

The place is not like the old laundry mats dirty and dusty the management takes care of this place meticulously great large machines to choose from and newer machines that really are efficient. Finally a pleasant place to come and relax and parking is always easy to find with a large area. There's no enforcement of mask wearing here. Even the staff wear their masks around the neck rather than over the face. The staff do keep the place very clean and the machines are hardly ever out of order. 24 hours of operation make this place convenient. They picked up my laundry at 7:30AM and I had it back by 10:30AM, clean, folded, (better than I could myself) and ready to be put away. There were a couple of items that I normally hang on hangers and they were so nicely folded I was able to take them out and wear right away without a touch of an iron. I live this service and will be using them again. Another nice thing is their weight per pound is VERY reasonable and there's no charge for pickup and delivery. My favorite is the bigger one because it allows me to fit all of my kids' blankets in it. I always wash my clothes on Wednesday afternoons and the girl who works there is always so sweet and helpful. Our $120 sleeping bag was stolen in the 2 minutes my gf walked to the car. There was an employee just standing there on his phone and he said he didn't see anything. Didn't seem to care when we told him about it. Spoke to the owner by calling the number on Victorias google review. He never called back or bothered to check the cameras. Do not come here! BTW Victoria probably didn't lose something. It was stolen! We just so happened to realize because it was the main thing we went to wash for an upcoming trip. On top of that it is not clean. This is the place to go when you need to get your clothes clean and finished in a timely manner. It's a clean and safe environment and there's always an attendant on duty! It's open 24 hours and there's arcade games for kids! It's open 7 days a week and even open on holidays. Love it!! read more

Just tried this place out for the first time, as i was in need of a 24hr laundry, at 1am. Not bad! Attendant on duty, pretty clean, ginormous washers (8 loaders), cheap prices. The place was pretty empty at this hour. I know for sure that i wouldnt have gotten to use the mega washers during the day. Next door to a 24hr fresh and easy. I will probably, most def be back. I've been coming here since before new management took over. Since new management, I've never encountered a problem. First of all, the area is not great, but this place is ALWAYS clean. It's clean, air conditioned, and decent prices. $1.50 for a regular load and $.25 for ten minutes of dry time. The bathroom costs a quarter, which is odd but fairly common in this area. Free wifi which helps pass the time. I came during a slow time and was greeted by a lady. Change machine works. I say that because other laundromats will have broken change machines.
