This place is so coo! Found them on Instagram when my boyfriend showed me a photo they posted of a old Seahawks jersey - a brand new, with tags, perfect quality, legit jersey. We ended up coming out on a Sunday afternoon, after we called to see if the jersey was still available. We brought a few items we wanted to sell too, as they buy/sell clothing. Easy to find, just popped it right into the GPS and it took us there with no problems. Really small store, but packed full. There is a room upstairs, and then a few stairs down to another room. The guy who was working was great (sorry can't remember his name) and was very interested in the items we had to sell, but he said since they seemed to be of high value, we needed to contact their manager/buyer, so he gave us information to get in touch. We have e-mailed him, but have yet to hear back.... Sonics gear, Seahawks, Sounders, Mariners... But wait! They sell other teams gear too! Baseball, football, basketball, hockey - they have hats, jerseys, sweatshirts. New and used. This place is really really cool, and I can't wait to come back. read more

Been seeing ads on Facebook for years finally made my way down here and I'm glad I did. It's a little store packed with amazing items. I am a huge sports apparel guy and love my jerseys, kicks, tshirts and hats of sports teams. This store has it all! The gear they provide is of true vintage nature! I remember, most of the gear they have, when it was new... its great to see some of the awesome vintage apparel i used to love and wished i still had... The store is small and quaint and is very colorful and inviting. The mananger, Mark, runs a tight ship and can help find most anything if its able to be found if not in the store. Throwback NW even has live art and DJ performances in store! How cool is that? I cannot say enough good things about the fact that there is nothing like this store ANYWHERE in the NW.... Nice little place for Sports apparel and the owner is very friendly. However, the prices are jacked up from MSRP! I went in to buy a vintage Jersey for my brother and I didn't mind paying for it even though the price seemed high on my end. I went online to look up the original manufacturer/brand of the Jersey and I found the store. The retail price (NOT the sale price) was $20 CHEAPER online! Absurd! It wasn't even a little bit but by a lot! Technically, this is ILLEGAL in some states. Unfortunately, I live 3,000 miles away, so I won't be going back to return it and certainly not for their store credit. If you're in the area, I would suggest you do conduct some window shopping and browsing and then check the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) before you buy anything. It's like buying a book, I don't mind paying MSRP for a book like shopping at Barnes and Nobles in person vs. buying a sale price online but anyone that OVERCHARGES for their merchandise, above MSRP, is not the way to go, especially for consumers. I won't be back and I won't recommend this place. read more

FINALLY! A NICE BOUTIQUE SHOP THAT WE LIKE! Seattle had a bunch of boutique shops, but they were all focused on girl items or shoes. The bf was searching for a trendy shop for him to buy some new stuff and we happened to find this one. It's a small shop but has two levels. Great decor (a bunch of old school boom boxes in different styles lined the very top shelves) They had a bunch of classic / retro / vintage baseball caps and clothing, cool tank tops (that the bf purchased) cool sunglasses (which i got a pair of) and hella retro sports memorabilia. Oh i forgot to mention, they had some old school dolls (Michael Jackson Thriller doll!) I liked their selection of vintage sports wear, almost bought that old Gold 49er Starter, but they didn't have my size. There was a boy working and he was very helpful to the bf. He knew exactly what merchandise was on what rack in their stock room and when he asked for a size and the dude in the back said they didn't have any, he reminded the guy to look on rack 8 and they found one! The owner was also really nice. He was doing some stuff behind the register and talking to me while the boyfriend was shopping. Although he was casually talking, he let me know that they had some stuff in the back of the shop that I was talking about and brought some of the "out of season" items out for us to see. If you like throwback and present sportswear this is your store. Taking a stroll back to the late 80's early 90's. The store design has evolved over the years and is really a great showcase of merchandise. You walk in and you will see Yo MTV raps playing, or an old Michael Jordan basketball game. I'm 16 and I missed this era, but I have 3 older sisters who remember these time fondly. I go in the shop and see a whole new style for me, my sisters go in and they have a sense of nostalgia, old school fashion incorporated into the present. They also have a wide variety. They have a nice amount of local gear, one of my favorite pick ups was the, I heart Dave shirt, but the instead of a heart it was a glove, the shirt was to commemorate the passing of Dave Neuhaus the announcer for he mariners. It's an amazing memento, and I love wearing it because everybody gets the fun humor of the shirt. All kinds of teams with your favorite all-stars. I hear they are getting in a lot of Olympic gear because its right around he corner. Hey also have a plethora of throwback and new snapbacks from nba,mlb,nfl etc, and they also have new tisa and its all just beautiful quality. You just can't beat the perfection of a throwback starter jacket from your favorite sports team. The management is great, they are quick to greet you. They are always conscious, and very helpful, the store is small but they dot give you the hungry eyes look the whole time. If you need help they are knowledgable, and don't mind a quick chat. They have great promotions, sales on the regular, the pricing is reasonable considering the quality of the items. All in all, if you want something throwback whether it be Levi's, Jordan's, jerseys, merchandise from your favorite team, or something cool Seattle themed, Northwest throwbacks is your store. This store is the sh!t. Some great unexpected finds in here. I've purchased many unique tees and hats. I love how they carry creatively designed Seahawks gear and hats that you can't find anywhere else. It's too bad they don't have the space to carry more women's items. They had 2 different women's tees. Thankfully, I loved one of them, a tribal/totem designed number 3 with the word Danger in the back for my love, Russell Wilson. I had to go back and buy two more shirts with that design because my man and my girl wanted one too. Sometimes they have sales, like one weekend, everything in the store was 40% off. Needless to say, I frequent here often. I love supporting my neighborhood business. It's a great place to find the perfect one-of-a-kind gift for your hip hop and sports loved ones. First and foremost Throwbacks Northwest is AWESOME!!!! I'm a huge Seahawks fan and am always looking for apparel that will stand out, I like to be different and don't want to be wearing the same thing as everyone else. A friend of mine told me about Throwbacks and I was interested, I checked out the website and the blog, but once I saw the store I was even more excited. The store is FULL of awesome finds! I've had old school Seahawks stuff before, but they've got the rare finds!! I've been to the store several times now, each time bring a new friend with me who was amazing by the inventory at the store. I picked up a Seahawks Blue Satin Snap Starters Jacket in PERFECT condition for a gift for my mom... she LOVED it and was so surprised to get something Throwback! She instantly had to ask where I got it and where she could get more!! I've been immensely impressed with Throwbacks Northwest and am actually planning to stop by the store again later this week!
