I've never had acupuncture and was terrified but also desperate enough to give it a try. I have severe osteoarthritis, (bone on bone on both knees), suffer from sleep disturbance, overweight, anxiety, body soreness & a very stressful life. I was using a cane for day to day movement when I came in for my consultation. After getting my very 1st treatment I was in complete amazement. It was painless, extremely relaxing and best of all I felt better than I had in months!! This kind of treatment I was always apprehensive about honestly - like others I thought it would be quite painful! Buy I found that it was not bad at all! The tiny pricks in sensitive areas i.e. ears or neck had a fleeting one second pain and diminished. The heat lamps they offer while you're sitting in the no gravity chair is gold! After Lucky is done inserting the needles I don't feel them there while I relax for 25 minutes in the chair. Every comfort needed is addressed; the staff is top shelf (Miss Quin). His English is hard to understand. The acupuncture treatment is not private. You go into a room with 20 other people at $60 a piece. You hear people snoring and moving around. How are you supposed to relax. Also, the chairs are patio reclining chairs and the blankets he uses are shared from one patient to the other. Aaron doesn't wash his hands from one patient to the next. He works with needles and apparently doesn't think hygiene is necessary. He is also very pushy about treatment. I found this place online and wanted to give a try after many health issues and being desperate to find some help. I went to Lucky Flow Acupuncture after my divorce because I was having trouble falling asleep at night. At the time, I was only getting about 4-4 1/2 hours per night. After 12 sessions, I am happy to say that I am back on track and sleeping 7 1/2 to 8 hours per night. I fall asleep faster and haven't been waking up in the night anymore. I am currently in treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome. It is bad enough that I have been referred for surgery. I am trying this to see if surgery can be avoided. The treatments significantly reduce the pain and increase my flexibility. The results last longer with every treatment. I'll try to report results after a full course of treatment. Effects were likely just placebo. It never got very good. I ended course of treatment early and they refused to refund prepayment. I'm trying to back out of part payment through my credit card, but they are fighting that as well. read more

Let me start this review by saying I HATE NEEDLES! There, I said it and with Aaron's help I have overcome months long feeling of pins and needles in my right arm. A few years ago I broke my right arm. I initially thought that I had healed correctly and resumed my life, wrong. I suffered from a very weak arm where it was almost impossible to do anything without pain. I tried my personal physician who recommended physical therapy, it worked for a while but the pain returned. My physician prescribed a pain pill. Let's say the side effects were not pleasant. My chiropractor worked diligently to try and correct my pain. She recommended that I look for an acupuncture specialist so that they could work together to rid me of my pain. I met Aaron at the Taste of Plymouth in April of 2019. He and my chiropractor have given me a new lease on life. I have grown stronger and am pain free! Aaron Li was very easy to work with and has an easy going, good bedside manner. I was very satisfied with the treatment I received, and I enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the healing room. It was very relaxing and comfortable. The reclining gravity chairs were quite comfortable. At first, I was skeptical. An acquaintance had given me a business card for Aaron Li, the acupuncturist at the Sanctuary. After a few visits, the issues that compromised his posture and gait were being resolved. That's when I knew I would have to make an appointment with Aaron. I am so very glad I did. He has been working with me to alleviate the stress and pain affecting my lower back and sciatica; and the pain throughout my shoulders and upper back. Aaron is a kind and thoughtful practitioner. He asks pertinent questions, answers from which then lead him to follow through on treatment. Treatments may vary, depending on the issues presented during the visit. His work is done in an extremely relaxing group setting. My sessions have ranged in time from one to two hours. AARON IS AMAZING! After a decade of increasingly aggravating NEUROPATHY in both feet (numbness, tingling and balance problems) Aaron has put me back on the path to happiness. Every other medical professional I've consulted basically shrugged their shoulders and dismissed the problem. When the night-time numbness worsened, I tried acupuncture as a last hope. At the initial consultation, Aaron said he could help, and he has. Night problems are gone, balance and flexibility are greatly improved, and most of the numbness is gone.
