I have been curious about the place in Laurel Park Mall for some time and finally took a friend there to see what it is about. The employees are very friendly, the place was very tranquil in lighting and there was soothing music playing in the background. We opted for a 30 minute reflexology foot massage and it was outstanding! We then opted for a acupressure neck and shoulders massage- over our clothes. It was a bit aggressive but very good, finishing off with a hot moist towel applied to the neck and a little down the back under our shirts. I really liked it all however my friend found it too rough. There are "beds" as well for a more all over massage. I felt the effects for a couple weeks after. Pricing ends up a being about a dollar a minute. My friend and I have already made plans to make this a monthly visit. read more

Wu Xing is in the same building as Phoenix Theatres. From Laurel Park Place walk outside to the adjacent office building. The nearest set of doors is by AhHa Noodles. I appreciate that the staff still wears masks and a small bottle of water is provided. The chairs are comfortable. The shop is small, so not a lot of room for social distancing, but organized and clean. I got a foot massage. My masseuse was alright but it wasn't a great massage. I should have asked it to be firmer. There wasn't a lot of acupressure, just rubbing of the feet and lower legs. I would recommend not seating customers right next to each other if it isn't crowded and there are other places to sit. A man without a mask was seated next to me even though there were half a dozen other empty chairs in the row. Thankfully I wasn't there long after the maskless man arrived. Overall, a decent place for a massage if you are shopping at Laurel Park Place, but not among my top massage shops in the area. read more

This is a pretty decent place if you need a quick massage. Anytime I've gone here, I never really have to wait. I walked in yesterday and asked for a 60 minute table massage and they were able to get me started right away. The massage itself definitely worked a lot of my sore muscles (and I discovered some soreness that I didn't even know I had). I didn't love when they were massaging my face (particularly my chin), but I'm just going to take it as part of the experience. If you're looking for a spa/massage type experience, this is not the place you want to go. In the location next to Phoenix Theaters, it's an open room with a mix of tables, comfy chairs (for foot massages), and massage seats that you can lay your head against. So there's not a ton of privacy. It's also the type of massage place where you stay fully clothed and they awkwardly massage you sometimes with some paper towel between you and the masseuse. At this point, you're getting what you pay for. If you just want to come in for a quick fix because you've got some knots, then definitely check this place out. If you're looking for a whole relaxing spa experience, I'd look elsewhere (but also be prepared to shell out a little more). The last lingering question I have is about where this location officially is? Do they have two locations? One inside Laurel Park Mall and the other inside Laurel Park Place (the office building with Phoenix Theaters)? It's been hard to find a definitive answer for this, and I think they should probably clarify this for people. read more

This place is so perfect. There is soft, relaxing Chinese music playing in the background. You can count on getting in and out of here without a hitch. It was so great that I stopped in during my lunch break one day. I felt like I had been the spa and felt really spoiled when I left. The foot massage/reflexology session that I had lasted 30 minutes and it was heavenly. I am a big fan of having my toes cracked daily and let me tell you what! My therapist even cracked my baby toes. Now that's fabulous. I don't think I have ever had them cracked in my WHOLE LIFE. So try them and treat yourself. I did and I will be back. I also liked the other Yelper who said that they use it and the movies next door as their date night. I'm going to look into treating my hubby to this one. The one things that makes this a tad different is that it is a community setting and when you are in for your treatment, you are out with everyone else, but trust that you'll be so relaxed that you will forget that in no time. I have been going to this place for almost a year atleast twice a month. They do good massage with no frills and price is good also. My last visit turnedbme off.... I normally get full body massage for 90 minutes and I came back home with itching on my body that is still persistent after 5 days and multiple baths and showers. The person giving the massage had weird body odor that was so bad that I had to cut my massage from 90 to 45 mins. The place or massage bed did not seem clean, floors were dirty and just the over all experience was BAD..... They use the same sheets and towels over and over again and good knows what cream and oil they use. Please they have a bad habit of talking while servicing when the clientsbexpect total silence with relaxing music in the back ground. Another reflexology company has taken over their old location but fret not; simply walk through the doors next to the old location and leave the mall, cross the zebra crossing into the building next door and less than 30 steps away is the one and only original! (Say no to imposters). Conversely, you can also reach them from the other side of this building by the Phoenix movie theatre entrance as they are a few stores down from the theatre. The new location is absolutely beautiful. Sage green walls and dim lighting give the space a serene, spa like feel. They now have several private rooms which include ceiling bars.. yes- for balancing the therapists while they are walking on you. Services include reflexology foot massages which are heavenly at any time, but mostly so after a long day of shopping, working, excersising etc. The chair massages focus on back, neck and shoulders but our personal favorites are the table massages. These are very different from any regular massage you might be familiar with.. they are nothing like a traditional Swedish or sports and/or deep tissue massage - however they are absolutely wonderful in their own category. I took my dad here for his birthday Aug. 29th. We both got 60 minute massages they didn't massage our feet . Isn't that apart of the damn massage ! At the end of the 60 minute massage the lady who did my massage ran out of the room didn't say thank you or anything . She couldn't speak English but I'm pretty sure she knows the basics . They lady who did my dad massage spoke English she asked if we wanted our feet massaged and it would be an extra $30. During the massage the lady who did my massage was too rough I kept telling her too much pressure but she didn't understand so the one who did my dad massage had to tell her . By that time I was in pain already . Had to tell her too much pressure multiple times . My dad and I were in pain the next day She begged me for a rip in the end and was being greedy . WOW! Best $20 ever spent! This is a serious and high effort acupressure massage. This is a no fuss place, the massage is the star! It is straight forward. There are no candles and unless you reserve a room, you will be in an open room with a lot of others in chairs and bed. That said, after 5min, it does not even feel awkward! I arrived with the worst back pain without an appointment and John started right away (7pm). Thirty minutes later the pain was almost gone. After the massage I felt better than the relief I was getting from Advil. I am not cured but in a scale of 1-10, I went from 8 to 3!!!! I am looking forward to my next appointment. John was great! This was definitely the worst massage experience I've ever had in my life. When you walk in, there are a ton of chairs out in the open with people having services. You're walked back to a tiny room without an actual door, more of a piece of bamboo. The masseuse did not speak any English and didn't give me any privacy to remove my bra or anything. The masseuse was very rough and despite me vocalizing my displeasure during my hour massage, the pressure didn't change. I was punched and pounded on and left with kinks in my neck and back which weren't there before I went. I also now have bruises all over my body. I feel like I paid to be abused. The masseuse also smelled like food and was gassy. It was a very unpleasant experience. Don't waste your money, unless you're into that kind of thing. read more

The staff is pleasant & the manager helps out if language or service issues. I'm more of a Swedish massage type of person, however, I woke up with a kink or sore on my upper back/lower neck. All the other massage places was booked, and I needed a last minute pain relief. I was able to walk in on a Saturday and they were able to start on me right away. Yes, it's more pressure point 'pain' massage, but it's a good pain because I know the end result will be worth it! Ofc it didn't cure the pain I had but it feels a lot better, less tense, less painful. I did the $20 chair massage for 20 minute, sooooo worth it!
