In the past the fix was to let it rest for a few weeks so this time I went with the massage. They really know their stuff---technique, anatomy, muscles involved, etc. I was surprised at the precision, I was expecting a warm towel and just some general kneading in the area. I asked how much a 2-hour massage would cost, and she told me $120. She was very friendly and accommodating with the time slot I requested. On the day of the appointment, her sister Lisa was assigned to do the massage. Lisa did an excellent job--the massage itself was relaxing and professional. However, when it came time to pay, I was told the cost was $160, not the $120 I had been quoted. I explained that I had spoken with the owner, but Lisa said, "Oh no, you had a 2-hour deep tissue massage--that's $160." I was surprised by the $40 difference, especially since I had only brought $190 with me. I ended up giving a $30 tip and left, but I felt misled. I even took a photo of their posted prices: 30 min - $50 60 min - $80 90 min - $110 Based on that pricing structure, a 120-minute massage should logically be around $140, not $160. This inconsistency is the reason I'm writing this review. I've referred this place to many people because of the quality of the massages, but this experience has made me lose trust. I will never go back! I hope they clarify their pricing and ensure better communication moving forward.

Yesterday, I called various massage businesses in the area to book a massage and coincidentally called this business. I was told that there was a 3:30pm appointment available, so I decided to book it. The manager asked if I had been there before and asked me if I knew the price of the massage. She proceeded to tell me it would cost $90 and said that customers usually tip ~ 18-20% which I found odd, given that I hadn't even gotten the massage yet. I asked if she told every prospective customer this and she said yes. Then I expressed that I didn't feel comfortable agreeing to a predetermined tip amount and would tip the amount I wanted to after the service. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told that the manager didn't schedule my appointment because I did not agree to tip 18-20%. The manager proceeded to remind me that the last time I got a massage, I "only tipped $10" which is why they did not book my appointment. I pointed out that the notice regarding the tip that they kept referencing explicitly stated that it was a "suggestion" not a requirement (as is usually the case with tips). I was extremely upset because they did not communicate that my appointment was canceled prior to my arrival, and I had waited 30mins for this appointment only to be refused service.
