I brought my grandson in this morning to pick up a few of his favorite donut holes. The cashier was so friendly and helpful. She greeted us and talked to my grandson while he made his selection. She gave my grandson a few donut stickers and boy was he happy. The donut holes were great. We went about our day and soon after I came home, I realized my wallet was missing. I backtracked and stopped at the Luck Jelly Donuts and as soon as the cashier saw me, she smiled and said, "You forgot your wallet". I offered her a reward for her kindness. She refused and said, "It's not right you are my customer." Left it in the tip jar. Great customer service. Very friendly. Honest. My new favorite donut shop. I use to frequent with a few other local donut shops but the quality has gone way down, especially in the taste. Not sure if the other shops are skimping on ingredients but doesn't taste right. Came here with my daughter to grab a donut for ourselves and for her teachers and wow, so many items to choose from. All freshly baked and the taste, finally taste like donuts and not paper. Kinda crazy how long this donut shop has been here, yet I've never thought to stop by. This girl looooves donuts but something about the location/appearance never compelled me to stop. I popped in one morning for a breakfast sandwich so of course I had to pick up some donuts to try! They have your basic selection of breakfast items - burritos, croissant or bagel sandwich, bagel w/ cream cheese and a small case of donut varieties. The ham, egg and cheese croissant was freshly toasted, and the eggs super fluffy. They add a nice thick layer of cheese which makes for a beautiful cross section. They cut your sandwich in half automatically too, which is a nice touch. It's your standard breakfast sandwich though and for about $7, you really can't go wrong. Nothing fancy, but it'll fill you up. Now onto the good stuff! DONUTS! I picked up a cinnamon roll and the first bite blew me away. I went in with no expectations but dang, this thing was good! I love a cinnamon roll with cream cheese icing and unfortunately, this isn't that, BUT their version is absolutely delicious. The bread was soft and fluffy, basically melt in your mouth, and the glaze on this was thin but the perfect amount of sweetness. The cinnamon swirl in this was just the right amount, and the whole thing was almost as big as my face! I got a strawberry glazed donut for my daughter and she loved it! Probably because it's barbie pink lol I'm not really a fan of strawberry glaze but this one is actually really good! I wouldn't eat the whole thing myself, but a bite or two will satisfy your sweet tooth. I couldn't eat all my donuts in one day so I saved the apple fritter in my fridge for 3 days. The crazy thing is, even though I ate it semi cold and it was a few days old, this apple fritter was one of the best apple fritters I've ever had! I can only imagine how good it would have been fresh or better yet, warmed! My tastebuds could not believe the flavor bomb that was going on. The edges were crispy and the inside still soft and buttery with lots of apple chunks. It almost had a caramel flavor from the glaze too. These donuts exceeded all my expectations! They were everything a donut should be. I want to describe the donuts as juicy but not in a greasy way. They pack the donuts in paper bags so trust, you'll know if they're oily or not, but even days later, the paper bag barely had a few oil stains coming out. This will be one of my go to spots for donuts in the area, moving forward. PS. They do take card/apple pay. Two girls working on a Saturday morning and they were nice enough. The parking lot is small and can be a little weird to get in/out of but not a deal breaker. read more

The lady working there when I entered the store she didn't say welcome she was so serious and not welcoming just starring at me and my mother the donuts were good but the sandwiches were to pricey for just a little sandwich. Ran in with less than 30 min until closing for a donut fix! My go-to is always a fritter and this one was a bit more oily and sweeter than I preferred. Stopping today to grab me some plain croissants and original glazed. The donuts were good and prices were ok. But the croissants were very good! Nice and soft and fresh and has a somewhat flakey outer texture. My aunt stops by here for their croissants and that's how I knew. Not sure if I taste any difference since the new ownership takeover, but as far as the donuts I never really had any under the old ownership so cannot comment on those. My wife usually sends me down to Jelly Donut, but this morning I get there and there's a line out to the parking lot. So then I tell myself "they aren't that good to wait 20 mins". Call up the wife and head back towards N. Texas and let her know I'm going somewhere else. Then it hits me, "why don't I simply try that one place that I pass by all the time?", which ironically is named LUCKY JELLY DONUTS!!!!! So go in there and the donuts look good. Hit up a dozen of a mix of chocolate frosted and glazed and pay (after noticing that they were doing cash only and they still boxed them up for me and waited for me to get back) and was given two of fresh and warm donuts. Get in the car and the smell hit me. ITS CINNAMONS!!!! I do love cinnamon. So I grab the little bag with what ended up being some kind of cinnamon glazed goodness that I could only describe as a night with Scarlet Johansson and she lets you know that she's on birth control. So then I get home to only find out that ole Scar Jo has a friend with her and discovered what can only be listed as a true rival to Krispy Kreme glazed donuts, yet more. At the end of the morning, I'm so glad that I FINALLY stopped at the LUCKY JELLY DONUT because it is now my new spot for donuts. I honestly did not plan to go into their shop today, but my bf had jokingly commented about how trying his first jelly donut was just a dream as we drove past. So, I turned my car around and parked into their empty lot. I don't recommend pulling into the shop from entrance facing the main street, my car bumper scratched a little at the dip. I got myself a fish shaped donut and my bf ordered a raspberry jelly donut. I didn't care for the jelly beans on it, but the M&M's and sprinkles were pretty good on top! The chocolate frosting was super delicious and the bread was super fluffy and soft. I was in donut heaven. I am definitely going to go back and try some of their other donuts, and maybe even something off their burger menu! ( YES THEY SERVE BURGERS! Stopped in to pick up some donuts after seeing this place on yelp and my wife wanting donuts for breakfast and picked up two Bavarian cream filled chocolate covered donuts and 2 cinnamon crunch glazed donuts (I think that's what they were called) and we tried each kind and they were delicious and fresh and made really well. Nice exterior when you bite in and almost fluffy inside, a delicious piece of heaven in your mouth. Service was friendly and quick also. i walked in here hoping to find a good donut place where i can eat breakfast as we all know most places open at 10am but my hunger starts at 8am . this place is a clean area with helpfully employees that re say your order just in case of any confusion. after i walked in 10 other people also came in so i would say this place is pretty good around here. i also like that they have more breakfast options then donuts. i got a croissant, cheese, egg, and sausage and it was delicious . definitely will come here again as a go to spot read more

Okay, I have mixed reviews about this place because every time you go, you're in for a surprise, honestly. So the first time I came here was a few years ago and it was nice, delightful little hot day excursion of goodie satiation. Then the next time I come here which was a few months ago, it says fish and chips on the sign and even says it ON YELP and so I asked the one of the ladies if they have that and she rudely was like no, no. Like change your sign and notify yelp to not do y'all dirty like that then. Finally I came here about a week ago and had a really delicious donut and *pretty* strong coffee. I live really close to this place, I stopped by the 23rd to pick up some donuts for my work and pre-paid for 2 dozen donuts to take to FPD the 25th. My son got ill and spent Xmas in the ER so I come in today to pick up donuts I prepaid, the guy behind the counter says here are your 3 day old donuts, I look at him and apologize and explain he says it's not his fault and says here take your donuts. I've been in customer service and have never experienced such rude and careless service. I will NEVER come here again.
