My faves are the glazed blueberry old fashioned, the apple fritter and the maple glaze! These donuts are so moist fluffy and airy all at the same time! The Apple fritter is a total hit and one that I was not expecting to love! Of course it's super busy on weekend mornings so I would advise calling ahead so you get the donut you want because they tend to run out (I.e. the blueberry donut). They're super fast and get through the long lines efficiently. Not to mention their hours are crazy, 4am-12am?! Wild!! I've ordered donuts from here for events and was super happy with my order. My husband went into Donut Queen today and had a really disappointing experience. He shared that he was treated horribly by the main worker that was working alongside a trainee. He was barely acknowledged the entire time -- only enough to take his order, which was wrong when he received it. The primary worker (also works at jelly donut) was extremely rude and dismissive, never even speaking directly to him, and instead had the trainee grab the donuts while continuing to ignore incoming customers because they were focused on a larger order. Being busy is understandable, but it's not an excuse to treat paying customers so poorly. Customer service matters, especially when people are choosing to spend their money supporting your business. Ordered a bacon breakfast wrap from here (by accident). I normally go to another donut shop in town, and thought I ordered from my go-to spot on DoorDash. Oh well what's done is done. The breakfast wrap was hot and fresh when delivered plus was a decent size wrap. The bacon, fluffy eggs and potatoes inside had good flavor. It was pretty filling. The only thing I wasn't feeling about the breakfast wrap was the cheese sauce they used inside. It had a weird taste and was a little off-putting. But overall it was good. Donut is good that is why i put 2 stars anyways, I've been to this shop a few times now, and overall the donuts are good. However, my experience with one staff member has been consistently unpleasant. During my visits, I noticed that this employee comes across as rude and dismissive. On my most recent visit, I was simply trying to ask which donuts had filling inside, since some have holes and others don't. While I was explaining, she interrupted me multiple times and spoke over me in a rude tone. At the end, she just said, "Okay, what do you want?" which felt very dismissive. I also want to be honest -- I felt uncomfortable and even somewhat discriminated against. From what I observed, she seemed much more welcoming and friendly toward Black and White customers, while my interactions with her felt noticeably colder and disrespectful. Customer service matters just as much as the product. I wasn't being difficult, just asking a simple question, and I don't think anyone should be treated that way. I was craving donuts and the mom and pop shops are the best. This one was no exception. We got a maple bar which was subtly sweet and it melted in my mouth. It was so good. I also got an apple fritter which was good. It was a little greasy, but not bad. Lastly we got a ube cake donut. There was no ube flavor. But it was still good. I have been fighting a very strong donut craving for the past 2 days. The craving won the battle... here I am for the first time. I'm so happy I made it finally! The woman at the counter was nice and greeted me when it was my turn to order. I was very excited seeing all of the donuts to choose from. I was the most excited to see they sell MOCHI DONUTS!!! Not all donut shops carry mochi donuts, I usually have to go to a specialty shop or a mochi donut specific shop. My order: glazed donut (1), maple mochi donut (1), and red velvet donut(1). All for $5 (before tip). The plan: Eat 1 donut now, save the rest for later. Reality: Sit and eat all 3 donuts now *sighs at the lack of self control* But, I do not regret my decision!! :) First up, the ol' classic glazed donut! Nice and fluffy! Perfectly sweetened. It's Mother's Day and decided to get some donuts. It was definitely slim pickings and they had nothing I wanted but I was there and asked for two twists, since they had nothing custard. Then I figured I'd get a couple of holes I guess is what they call them. She talked so fast I couldn't understand what she was saying and finally heard I had to get 6. Fine. I'll take 6. Then I added an old fashioned sour cream. I know she heard me. Sounded yummy. So I'm now paying and a couple customers come in and she's walking away. I was trying to add a $1.00 tip and next thing I know she's tapping the board as she's walking away and closed the transaction. Okay...no tip, fine by me. I'm standing there as there is no bag of donuts in front of me and she's off helping another customer. So I saw two bags and I grabbed the one that was puffed up since I did have the big twists. I get home and I don't have the old fashion sour cream one. The whole ordeal was like I was taking up her time and I was only in there maybe 5 minutes if that. If you don't like your job then leave. Follow through with your customer as it only would have taken another 10 seconds to hand the customer her bag/bags, get a $1.00 tip even though you don't deserve it. Maybe that other bag had my other donut I have no dam clue, I'm not a mind reader. I'm not in the habit of checking every bag. Finish one customer before you leave the other hanging wondering where her bag is. It was further back and by the donut counter. These donuts are super yummy and fresh EVERY DAY!!! I have gone here at least 10 times this past few months and every time I go the donuts are super fresh any time of day! That old trope about the hole in the wall restaurant having the best food holds true for Donut Queen. The line was out the door on a Saturday morning around 10am but it moved very quickly. There were several people working and they got it dialed in. We ordered a plain glazed donut and an ube cake donut. The total came out to $3.20! After a couple dollars tip it was just over $5. I didn't expect the donuts to be so affordable! The glazed donut was so fluffy. The ube donut being a cake donut was much denser. Not a super strong ube flavor but it's there and it's vibrant purple. Both donuts were nice and warm in the paper bag too. The ambiance isn't much to look at. I should have visited this place a long time ago. We keep seeing it as we are driving by, but we finally stopped and the donuts are good. Especially the croissant type donuts that are good with a good amount of butter cooked into them and glaze as well so delicious. The only thing I would not get is the breakfast wrap because it was bad. It was mostly cheese an egg. Went here for the first time, and tried a croinut which was so good! They gave my daughter stickers, and we got to watch someone making fresh donuts which my toddler really enjoyed. When the breakfast sandwich took a little longer because they got busy, she gave us some extra donuts, including one we were just watching them make. We love donut queen! They are conveniently located right off the freeway and always have good service. They usually are pretty busy and line is always out the door but it's worth it. They probably have the best donuts in town and in the surrounding cities. They also offer breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The burrito I wasn't a fan of due to the fact that they use, what taste like, that sliced Kraft cheese and melt it and to me it's disgusting. It'd be better if they used real cheese. But the donuts are amazing. They also recently expanded their menu and offer boba. I'll have to give it a try next time. The 3 pink icing doughnuts were tasty the day we bought them (Sunday). Decided to make a pit stop to get donuts for the station on the way to work. Saw they were open at 4am. I stopped in around 5am and there was already a line heading out the door. Simple small little shop. The lady up front was super speedy at getting everyone's order picked. I was initially worried the wait would take awhile. I order a dozen and a half. It was all packaged neatly and the donuts were reasonably priced. I didn't get a chance to try one first thing in the morning so my favorite was already eaten. My husband & I came here around 1:30pm on 7/9 to curb my craving. The display case was still packed with donuts even this late in the day. We decided to get 1/2 dozen mixed with a Maple Glazed Old Fashioned, Maple Glazed Buttermilk, Maple Cruller, Crumb cake, Velvet cake, & an Apple Fritter for $10.95 plus 1 small coffee $2.75. The place itself is pretty small with only a handful of very old metal tables with attached metal swivel seats that looked like they were from the 70's. I went to use the restroom to wash my hands but there was a sign on the door saying "out of order", so I asked the lady behind the counter, and she gave me a code to open it. I can only assume it's to keep out the homeless in the area, since this place is located in a strip mall in a rather sketchy part of town. The bathroom itself was also very sketchy, and dirty which doesn't make me feel too good about the kitchen either.
