You don't know me, but I'm about to save you time and spare you a major headache. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SUMMER RAIN. Hard Stop. Here's a semi-short version of a very long story... I bought a property and found a Summer Rain tag near the sprinkler system. Apparently they had serviced the property for several years, and I was interested in having continuity with a company that new the sprinkler system. Called sometime in March / April-ish to get a quote to open the sprinkler system for the season. I was told I'd get an email with a quote. That never happened. I'm obviously a glutton for punishment, because I called again the other week to get two things... 1 ) a quote for winterization, and 2) a quote for capping part of a hose from the system that would no longer be used. Again, I was told I'd get both quotes via email. This time I believe I spoke with a woman named Annette. Fast forward... never got a quote. Given the current environment with Covid, I decided to give them one last chance and called again to follow-up. Here's the HILARIOUS part... You ready for it? No, seriously... are you ready? Still didn't get the winterization quote, BUT I was told that they had already performed the capping service. Let me repeat some minor details in case you missed them 1) I never got a quote 2) I never authorized work on my property The icing on the disastrous cake was getting a bill for ~$230 for the work I never authorized. I called to speak with a manager and was told that Richie would give me a call later that day. I'm sure you guessed it already, but that never happened. Crickets when you need pricing but super fast to perform unauthorized work and lightning speed to bill for said unauthorized work. I'm not expecting a response from Summer Rain, and they definitely should not expect payment. Please learn from my mistake. Find another provider. Update 11/4/2020: Got a call from Summer Rain today saying that my "irrigation provider" would like to schedule my sprinkler winterization. This company is seriously clueless. They were so reliable and trustworthy for a long time. But in recent years their service has gone down hill while their prices have gone way up. They had an absurd price hike in annual turn on/shut off service without any explanation. They used to explain what service was required - now they just do it and send a bill. Really disappointing. Try someone else if you are in the market for a new system. read more

Terrible customer service, especially their office staff. I pay for them to come to my property multiple times over the course of two years and they never got my sprinkler system working. I would make an appointment with them to come fix my system, and they would leave before finishing the job because they had another appointment. Don't waste your time or money - there are much better options in the area. read more

This has been an extremely disappointing experience especially since this company was highly recommended by my landscapers and used by many of my neighbors. My sprinkler began leaking which was especially concerning since it was a Friday afternoon. I called and the secretary told me that someone would be calling me back immediately. I never received a phone call back, and the next day a technician came to my home without advanced warning. No one was home so he was unable to correct the problem although thankfully the water had stopped leaking. I called and asked for a manager and explained the problem again to the secretary. She assured me he would call back. Again, no call. The leak began again and I called and a technician did come at a scheduled time. He said that he had originally been dispatched to my home without any knowledge of where the leak was so he had been unable to correct it properly. Again, I phoned asking for a manager, and again, no call back. Then, I was billed for work that I wanted clarified. Once again, I called asking for a manager and the secretary was extremely rude.
