All the cooked food tasted like it was in the freezer from the previous season. The ice cream was great though.

The ham, cheese, and jam was an amazing savory and sweet combo. The buttered toast was perfection. I was also a big fan of the Coleman breakfast sandwich. The apple paired nicely with the onions. Add in a well seasoned sausage patty along with a gooey egg and one of the best toasted English muffins ever and you hit breakfast sandwich bliss. The atmosphere is very laid back with a large counter that faces an open kitchen for a true diner experience. The tie dye shirts, cat decor, and mix of bluegrass and Grateful Dead music brings the hippie vibes that makes it more interesting than your typical diner. Highly recommend!

So we did, walking into the place, this was in mid July and we in the area were going through a heat wave, the air-conditioning was not there, in fact, we were the only customers, I was thinking about leaving, it was border-line sticky, I decided to "stick" it out, I am so glad I did, the food is so good, I ordered two eggs over, sausage, potatoes, fries and an English. The chef there came in with some homemade strawberry jam, so good, and then the breakfast which, I am telling you is better than greasy Toast, First Watch in Hanover- nothing there, and Stevie G's in Cohasset. If you are ever on 3A in Cohasset check these people out.

To start, the service was awesome, the waitresses were down to earth but made sure we had everything we needed and then some- including some extra chips to bring home with our unfinished buffalo chicken dip. The place was as the name suggests...snug. But the intimate environment was all the better with the live entertainment! Nothing really beats watching a local artist playing acoustic guitar and singing "You've Got a Friend in Me" over some good eats. I ordered the Cape Cod Rueban which is your typical Rueban toppings but a golden fried filet of haddock, on a toasted brioche bun. I was honestly blown away by this sandwich. All the ingredients were so fresh. Both of us were very satisfied with the quality of the food, the huge portions, and the reasonable bill compared to other establishments in the area. For all this plus 2 drinks, we were looking at $70. If we are ever back this way, we will definitely stop in again to try some new entrees!

The Snug is taking a stand for the neighborhood pub. A bar three rows deep where you can get a well-poured Guinness on tap and listen to live music. Servers are all polite. The lean into the neighborhood piece is for real -- I think I saw a high school date there one time. Food is pub fare. Steak tips and burgers are go-to's. Don't try to look for fancy, please don't. Deconstructed chicken pot pie would just be wrong.

So many wonderful memories. Now we continue the lunchtime tradition with my sister & sister-in-law every month when possible. I love the Balsamic Chicken & the Smash Burger, such a treat. All the food is made fresh & the wait while it is specially prepared allows us to truly catch up. We appreciate the Toast staff for not rushing us & always making us feel welcome. Thank You Toast! Last week my husband & I stopped by after a morning medical appointment, I had perfectly cooked Eggs Benedict, yummy. My husband had the Veggie Omelette which was huge & delicious. I'm not a big breakfast person due to my fasting habits but LOVE breakfast for dinner, I just wish Toast was open for dinner! I highly recommend Toast, be mindful that it is located in a beach community so there maybe a wait on the weekends but it's well worth it!
