Been living near Jenna's since it opened years ago but never been there. That was a mistake! We got the chicken, fries and onion rings. The food was good last night and so good I've been eating it this morning right out of refrigerator. The help was very friendly, patient and thorough. I find their prices to be vey high. Expensive, I ordered the scallop roll and a haddock sandwich for my sister, it was her birthday. Both sandwiches came to $60. The food was average, the coating on the scallops peeled off before I ate it. We like their onion rings which we substituted their French fries for the onion rings. I think that cost additional $2.99. They're open all season now, this will be their first Winter. read more

Umm.. they were okay? Nothing to really rave about. The fried chicken was crispy.. but tasted like they fried it in old oil. Not really any seasoning. Seems like they learned how to make it from someone and then taught their workers and that's why they have a good crispy fried chicken but other than that, they haven't bothered to perfect it with seasoning or care to make sure they have quality oil. Just being honest! The waffle fries were okay but for an extra 3.50$ I got like 8 fries... that again, were fried in like old tasting oil. The whole meal just felt very unhealthy lol regardless of it being unhealthy. You don't want to feel like garbage while eating it? You know what I mean? Haha. Also ordered the brownie sundae and I was honestly disappointed by the taste of this icecream... i don't know what it was but it just tasted like it had frost bite or something, the flavor was just off. I got moosetracks and Oreo as a base and really just didn't enjoy it. Aside from the actual food, the service was fine. They were nice. Charged me 1.99 as a mandatory delivery fee when ordering "pick-up" online.. that was weird. Seems like they're lowkey scamming people for a few extra coins but that racks up depending on how many people are ordering "pick-up" and picking up even though they're paying 4$ in taxes and the extra 2$ delivery fee. I'll attach a pic of the receipt for proof. That's like an extra 6-7$ they're making off people every order placed through their online portal. Last thing to mention, when picking up the order at the window the cashier placed my plastic spoon directly on the counter? lol. Ew? Why not hand it to me?? Or place it on a napkin. I can only imagine what else they're doing that's unsanitary in the back. All in all, won't be coming back and will not be recommending to anyone. read more

I always rate based on the category, Jennas is a clean and well kept establishment with outdoor picnic tables under a tarp for shade with a nice fountain that welcomes dogs. Outstanding fresh full belly clams with great tartar and cocktail sauce, delicious hamburgers and fresh crisp tasty fries. Everyone loved their orders Dr said I need iron and B12 and a dietician said clams are a good source of both, don't need to tell me twice. Clams are a health food for me ;) I didn't get ice cream here this time but I have in the past and they have the nice boutique flavors like Maple. Very nice spot for an after dinner ice cream or just pleasant dining on a day I don't want to heat up the house. read more

First time trying this place out, and it did not disappoint. We got a bunch of food, but I wasn't able to take a pic of all of them since we just ate it before I could take pics. Lol We got Gobbler sandwich with side of sweet potato fries (extra cost but I love sweet potato so worth it if you like sweet potato fries), BBQ Clucker Sandwich with side of onion rings (extra cost for the onion rings), Garlic Parmesan wings, House Tater Tots with side of Chipotle Ketchup, Rachel Burger, Stella Melt, and Special Clucker Sandwich. My favorites were Gobbler, BBQ Clucker, and Stella Melt. Get the Gobbler and Stella Melt "lightly toasted/grilled". My least favorite was the Rachel Burger. Everything was pretty good. The portions were sizable too, and we have lots of leftovers. Will try the seafood items next time we go, but definitely a repeat! read more

The food is great! Every-time I go there the food is magnificent. The chicken tenders are really good and the French fries are just impeccable. The ice-cream is great too I recommend the orange sherbet for ice-cream. The only bad thing is that they put too much ice and little amount of drink. The service is always great. Very nice workers. Great spot for food and ice cream however it seems the food quality has gone down the past year. Went several times this summer and the burger was overcooked and dry, the fries were cold, and the clucker was also just a very thin breast that was overcooked and kind of cold. For the price of the food I would expect more. Will continue to go as it is a nice local spot but maybe less frequently. read more

After passing by this ice cream shack many times, we decided to try this place for lunch. We got the whole belly fried clams and scallop po'boy and the raspberry lime rickey. The portions were very generous. The fried clams came with both onion rings, and french fries and cole slaw. Everything was very crispy. I thought the fries were a little bit oily though. The scallop po'boy also came with both onion rings and french fries and was very tasty. The sandwich came with lettuce, tomatoes, and fried pickles on top with a sriracha aioli sauce. The raspberry lime rickey was also good but a tad sweet. It was made with ginger ale, raspberry syrup and some lime. Hope to try other things next time.. read more

I've been eating way too much ice cream this summer because I forget to drink enough water. I write that to write this-- Jenna's has the best ice cream that I've had hands down all summer!! Disclaimer: I'm super basic so I mostly only eat vanilla, so my bad to anyone with adventurous taste buds. The exterior is 1950's Drive In inspired and there's plenty of outdoor seating with shade. There is no indoor dining. Parking is easy in back. It's a fun little spot for families that you can easily drive by without noticing. The fried clam strips are some of the best we've had with very reasonable portions, and we love that they serve Gifford's ice cream (S'mores is a favorite!). OMG the buffalo clucker sandwich!! I've had many chicken sandwiches from a lot of different places and this one is hands down, one of the best! The chicken is so tender and flavorful, it just melts in your mouth. The buffalo flavor is on point, just spicy enough without being over or under-whelming. Also, the sandwich is HUGE. Wife thought she was being a badass and ordered chicken fingers and an a la carte side of fries, which ended up being three meals worth. Portions are not a problem here. Sandwiches, too. A long list of midday specialties, in addition to fried things, and Gifford's ice cream. Fried chicken meals made to order ("expect 20 minutes - it's worth the wait!" says the sign), and all the tables are outdoors. Half hold umbrellas though, so don't let a little light rain stop you from feasting. As if I didn't already get great vibes from this place, the fonts on the sign totally blend The Flintstones with drive-up diner, so bonus points, boyeee. read more

We stopped at Jenna's Drive In because I wanted to try their fish tacos, but I had trouble with the idea of paying $9.95 for two fried fish tacos with nothing on the side at an ice cream stand. We got ice cream instead. They get theirs from Gifford's. After tasting a few of their flavors, we ended up with cookies n cream and a scary red raspberry sorbet. They actually worked surprisingly well together with the dairy goodness of the ice cream adding a nice creaminess to the brightly flavored sorbet. A small cup held two scoops for $2.90 ($3.13 after tax). They accept credit cards, just not American Express, and have a $10 minimum for both debit and credit cards. read more

While Jennas has good food, sadly the quality of the food does not line up with its prices. Jennas does make great fried chicken and as well as ice cream products like a milkshake. The staff the majority of the time can be very dismissive, but this may be to their young age. read more

I played with dolls as a kid. Really cool dolls. I had Steve Austin, the six million dollar man doll that had both, a bionic eye and grip. I had Evil Knievel and his Stunt Cycle that was powered by hand cranking his power launcher. I also had G I Joe with the Kung Fu Grip. One winter I lost him while playing in the snow in my back yard. I wasn't overly concerned. After all he's G I Joe right. Spring came and of course he returned. Today I had lunch at Jenna's Drive In, in Weymouth. I've lived in Weymouth for 19 years and haven't tried it so why not. I got the four piece Fried Chicken and Crinkle Fries. It was spectacular. The pieces crunched under my fingers as I tore off piece after delectable piece. Not a hint of that old oil smell and as juicy as I've ever had. Who knew I'd find such a treasure in my own back yard. I drove to this sweet little place with Baloney, my cat, in the car after visiting the vet and I didn't want to leave him in my Honda uncomfortable and without company. He's anxious and that just wouldn't do well for his anxiety. Scared that I wouldn't get a chance to eat before heading home to my plush couch and my comfy pillows... but alas! I have found an establishment! I pulled up and rolled the windows down a smidgen so I could go and order my food. I ordered a nice fried clam strip meal and it was delicious.
