What a fun store! Every inch is packed with a little of this, a little of that - and almost all has some sparkle! So if bling is your thing, this store is for you! I enjoy the tables filled with what I would call gag gifts or stocking stuffers. Socks with cranky sayings, little jewelry dishes with amusing quotess, change purses shaped like a dog or cat, pieces of agate with inspiring words (peace, success, lucky, love), baseball caps pronouncing, "I need dog time" to name a few. Lots of sparkly jewelry for when you want to bling up an outfit and not spend a lot of money. Also some beaded bracelets, necklaces and earrings that you can wear everyday. Up front is a small assortment of women's clothing such as cute pajamas, sweaters, shawls, jackets, faux fur, and even some dresses. In the back is the children's section with books, toys, games and some clothing. The cards are along the back wall and will keep you entertained for sure. When I'm doing my stroll through downtown Lake O, I always stop in. Many times I do more looking than buying, but once in awhile I find something a bit more subdued, but still unique, that I have to have. And typically find a small gag gift to add to a friend's birthday or Christmas present. read more

This is such a cute little place. The windows are lined with so many cute things that caught my eye and drew me inside. I found even more once in there. Artwork, jewelry, wine glasses/accessories, socks, scarves, baby clothes, lots of CUTE holiday items. Some of it is pricey but they have quite the range and most of it is reasonable. The workers were nice and available to help if needed. I will be going back, especially for these cute earrings that I just adore! read more

Do you like things that sparkle, are unique and super cute? I do! I do! J'adore the Paris themed table because everyone knows that Paris, the city of light or La Ville Lumière is one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. As an aside, it gets that nickname because it was one of the first European cities to implement street lighting. Now, back to the fabulousness that is on the Paris station: fleur de lis inspired gifts, sweet note cards, and an array of gifts that pay homage to my favorite city. The vast displays of delightful jewelry has me hooked. So. Much. Sparkle. Egads, my knees just quiver from the memory of it all. If you're like me and owning a tiara (or two) is a necessity, go here. I just cruised into the store today for the first time ever. It's tucked away on 1st street in downtown Lake O next to a tattoo parlor offering permanent makeup...but that's a different story. This is definitely a store for the ladies with lots of chintzy jewelry (we're talking baubles with a lot of sparkle, people!), caps and other knick knacks. Although I wasn't loving the jewelry (gaudy, costume jewelry is not my taste), I was loving everything else. My friend picked up some funny luggage tags (ie "hands off my bag, bitches!") and I was dying over the very awesome, very funny collection of cards. I picked one up that is *just right* for a friend's upcoming birthday. I also admired the collection of ID cases with vintage illustrations of 50's style housewives with snarky comments like "Damn right I keep score" and "Domestically disabled" on them. There's tons of fun things to look at, but don't necessarily expect to come out with treasure. read more

The greatest little shop to buy a present for someone with a va-jay-jay or a really femmy fella. They have awesome funky jewelry -- lots of sparkly skulls & crossbones, a bunch of CC (coco chanel) necklaces, earrings, etc.. plus a bunch of cool earthy bracelets and necklaces. They also have handbags, funny cards and chocolate in the back. Its not for me, but they also have funky dog stuff -- dishes, outfits, etc. Loves it! read more

There is a variety of funky items in the store. If you are looking for something unique that no one else has this is a good place to go. It also has good little items for gifts. The only negative comment is that The prices are a little high. It seems to be somewhat pricey for what you are buying. read more

My 12 year old daughter went into the store by herself to buy her Mom a present for Mother's Day. Two older ladies working (one of which was supposedly the owner) there ignored her when she asked them for help and then told her to wait rudely. When my daughter finally found what she was looking for, they were not even friendly when she paid. My wife was very upset to hear this when she received the present from my daughter today. No one should be treated this way especially a young person who saved her money to buy her Mom a special present! Those women should be ashamed of themselves and we will no longer buy anything from this store. I hope that no other young person has to be subjected to the rudeness that my daughter experienced. read more

At least six people complimented me on the sparkly owl pin/pendant I bought at this store. When the sun shines (not often this time of year in Lake O), it twinkles with all the colors of the rainbow! It was reasonably priced, too. I've seen similiar owl jewelry for twice as much, with less sparkle! I also love their amusing cards and signs--when I get back I will buy the one that says "Work with me, people" for my desk. Or maybe the "hands off my bag, bitches!" luggage tag. Whenever I visit this happy little shop, I feel 'lucky' to live so close to its downtown Lake Oswego location. The atmosphere is always upbeat and I often drop by when I need a little lift on a rainy day. The shop is colorful, brightly-lit and unique. What is most important to me is that the people working there are always so pleasant and welcoming. I am always greeted warmly and the customer service is great. They even cheerfully provide gift wrapping at no charge! Although I am not into costume jewelry, they show a large inventory of pieces. This is my go-to shop for greeting cards and I'm amazed that they always seem to have just the right card for my intended recipient in such a relatively small space. It's also a great place to pick up amusing little gifts for girlfriends, unique baby things, fashionable scarves, hats and leather goods, as well as seasonal decor. I have ALWAYS Loved what this store had to offer and enjoyed shopping here as did my Mom, Daughter and other friends of mine. THEN it all changed for me. I walked in one day to shop and was watched like a hawk as if I were a thief. It made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and I left with only buying a few items. I go in another day and witness the staff treat another customer as if they didn't deserve to be in the store as they weren't dressed or seemed like LO type people. It was HORRIBLE!!! THEN just this past weekend after the Lake Run, my daughter and her friends walked in to shop and were followed through the store as if they were going to steal. The one sales gal would actually count everything my daughter touched. Are you kidding me. She had money to spend and the girls with her all come from wealthy families as if it matters. You just lost a bunch of customers!!!!! read more

Sorry, ladies. My experience was different. Bought sunglasses which broke within 2 weeks of purchase. I took them into the shop to see if I could get them replaced. Was told they had to keep them to "send out." I was surprised. I said, why don't you just replace them? It's a rather easy fix but since they're defective, I'd rather replace them. I told the clerk I needed to use a pair and didn't want to purchase another one, especially from this shop. No deal; it was "leave them or nothing." I left, vowing to never purchase from the shop again. There are loads of adorable shops in Lake Oswego. This one will never get my business again. And for the record, Lucky Me...train your staff to not keep going into the back room to get answers to questions. If you cared about your customers, you would have come to the front of the store to speak with me instead of staying behind the curtain while your employee kept asking questions.
