They have really great taste in books, and if you don't find what you want, the people are able to make suggestions that are usually very helpful. I am visiting the area for a wedding and was eager to enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I stumbled upon White Rabbit with excitement to fulfill my needs. I could not have been more disappointed. What greeted me was a snarky welcome and an automatic coffee machine with burned, unflavored and unbalanced coffee. If you're a person who truly appreciates good tasting coffee, this IS NOT your solution. I'd recommend 10 minute drive to Morse coffee instead. For the same price you'll be delivered a crafted coffee rather than a machined coffee that can only serve coffee one way. read more

I love this fun bookstore in downtown Oregon City. They have a great variety of books and fun gifts. It is my favorite place to get stocking stuffers during Christmas! My favorite items are their coffee cups and fun sticker selection. I love coming in to get a coffee and see what new books/items they have. The employees are always friendly and offering book recommendations. They recently organized the shop and I thought it looked very nice! Service: their store has a few different peeps that work it. Today I had a nice gal help me find some romance novels. They were pretty knowledgeable about the section I wanted. They also gave me great recommendations! Value: this store is a little on the pricey side. For 2 books, chapstick, candle and 3 postcards I paid about $72! They offer coffee and pastries. I've been here for a meeting and we had coffee and tea, it's all pretty decent! It's a rather small location so mindfulness goes a long way when having a work meeting! Overall it's a cute shop and I've been there about 3 different times! read more

I love this shop. I feel very welcome there, whether I purchase anything or not. They feel like family. They have events for the community-bingo, puzzle and game nights. Prepare yourself to spend $8-10 on a coffee. When asking the girl if it's a $.75 add on for cream or a flavor, she explained, "yes, it's the price you pay for good coffee". A 12 oz coffee with cream and SF vanilla was $8. The store has a few cute gifts but what stood out most was the witchcraft games, cards and books. Not my cup of tea/coffee. Most of my buy local holiday gift shopping was done at White Rabbit this year. This combination coffee house (Black Ink) and boutique has become a local O.C. favorite this year. Located at the end of Main Street close to the old paper mill, it is well worth walking a few extra blocks from the main retail center. They have books, a children's area, jewelry, and so many other random sections it is hard to describe them all, but Sasquatch and Ruth Bader Ginsberg are prominently featured. So whether you are shopping for a metrosexual lumberjack, feminist, or scientist you can find it here. read more

This place is the coolest ever! I always feel at home in here and each time I visit, can find unique gifts, games, books, puzzles, greeting cards, decals, PNW novelties and self care items. They support local, black owned, woman owned, lgbtq owned and many other smaller/family owned businesses, which makes each of my purchases mean even more. Their shop also has many events throughout the year which support community. read more

WORST ATTITUDE EMPLOYEES AT THE WHITE RABBIT GIFTS on Main st, Oregon City. I was APPALLED at the behavior from the 2 employees and especially the manager! As I was leaving the store, I opened the door all the way and I was half way outside, I proceeded to take my mask off, and suddenly, the employee starts YELLING from behind the counter, "put the mask on"! I told her that I am leaving the store and I am already outside and that she is being very RUDE! She then starts YELLING again "GET OUT!!!" I could not believe this was happening! The manager did nothing and contributed to the verbal abuse! UNBELIEVABLE!!! read more

HORRIFIC customer service yesterday at White Rabbit. The worst ever experienced as all 4 of us were asked to leave the store over a mask. NOT recommended!!! There should be a zero star. We arrived mid-afternoon and were the only ones in the store. Upon entry we put on masks as required and browsed the store. No conversation was made with the 2 sales associates behind plexiglass. Upon exiting, one friend took off her mask as she opened the door to leave and was aggressively told to put on her mask. They then told her to get out rudely. I came over to defend my friend from such verbal assault and the manager joined them and shouted for all of us, fully masked ladies, to "Get Out!" Unbelievable! So much hatred coming from that store! Was it because my elderly friend was Asian? This is not acceptable behavior from anyone. And 3 Sales Associates doing this?? We will never go back and do NOT recommend anyone supporting this place. White Rabbit is my local go-to shop for grabbing greeting cards and small gifts. If you browse their inventory, you'll find a lot of local goods and unique items ranging from fun socks and totes and oven mitts to books and jewelry. You can easily find something for all ages, including baby gifts. I think all of the prices are reasonable and you are supporting a local business. I like their selection of greeting cards. They're higher quality stationary and not cheesy. On my most recent visit, I saw they carried empathy cards for serious illnesses by Emily McDowell Studio, which are great if you're not familiar with them. The shop shares a location with Blank Ink coffee, so you can enjoy a coffee while browsing. read more

What a lovely store to stumble upon in Oregon City! Yet another place in town that serves good coffee -- here, Stumptown! They also have very tasty "Bakeshop" baked goods like one finds in Portland. This is a completely designed, well thought out shop (think Alice-in-Wonderland theme) with very tasty coffee options and incredible gifts. This is NOT your average gift shop, my friends. I went in to see this brand new location (used to be smaller elsewhere in Oregon City) and was impressed at the unique treasures to be found here. The chairs are even hand painted to suit the theme. The bar top is stunning! If you are looking for quality items that are NOT mass produced, you have found your Go To store. Whomever does the buying for this shop has fantastic taste and BONUS -- it is family owned and run. You will find lovely jewelry, book marks, baby toys/bibs/books, "Drinks well with others" aprons, literature galore, sitting spaces to sip and ponder, mugs, wine stuff, coffee stuff, buttons, toys, postcards, a section on girl power, enclosure cards and much more too numerous to list. Awesome store for oregon city! They had a lot of great local gifts and nice quality things at pretty decent prices! Soon to expand into an independent bookstore! Owner was working when we were there and she was awesome! I told her about some other local businesses and products and she was really responsive.
