I came here to get my acrylics nails removed and toe polish removed. As soon as I sat down they kept badgering me to make a sale. I politely declined and shake all I wanted was a removal. They didn't even soak off my nails. They did the cheap and painful way of using another acrylic piece to wedge the ones I have on my nails off. They charged me $40. No new paint. No new acrylic. Not clear polish on my hands. They charged me $40. Now I just moved from Atlanta about a week ago , I understand what it means to pay for good service. But this was nowhere near $40 service. We went here in a group for pre-wedding mani/pedis, and it was pretty much just what we wanted! The pedicures were all done in one room in the back that was darkly lit and felt spa-like. The massage chairs were pretty nice, though the thumping setting did lead to laughter-inducing boob jiggling. They did a good job on our toes and fingers. They could not get it to come up after the service and asked if I had it over a year. Yes, I had, but there was no expiration date on it or the card in which it came. They would not honor the card. Do not go during the weekend/when they are busy. They rushed to get my nails done. When I got there I only waited 15minutes because it wasn't too busy. About 20 minutes into doing my nails, there was a lot of people waiting so he decided to rush to finish mine. I got the coffin shape, and they are nothing like the picture I showed him. Most of my nails are not symmetrical (one side is slanted more than the other). It's been two days and my paint is already chipping, and the edges and front of my nails were not painted. I wore the sandals they gave me home. I checked my toe paint and it was already chipped. It was not worth the $45 at all. I will not go to this place again. The person I had was sloppy. read more

I really like this nail salon. It is quiet, clean, and does not smell like chemicals. I can only speak to their manicures and pedicures: neat, clean and long lasting. I think I got a new girl once who was not doing such a great job, they sensed my discomfort and put someone else on my nails and gave me a discount coupon for my next visit. They seemed to be enjoying their work and their customers! I heard so much about this place I decided to check it out a few months ago. The atmosphere and pedicure were ok. So I tried them again, this time for a liquid gel fill in. Very good experience. Went in looking for a new "regular" spot to get my nails done. I think I may have found it. Went in with an old set of acrylic nails. Suki convinced me to try liquid gel instead of the acrylic. Took a very long time to get the old nails taken off and the new ones put on but they really look very nice. Suki is a very good technician very personable and easy to talk to and listens to what you want. She is also a very good salesperson! Up sells everything so if you don't want more than the basic she's going to push you to get more... She doesn't take no for an answer very easily! I wish... I really wish this place was better than 2 stars.. The price was so good, but the technician are really horrible in the way they paint nails.. My cuticles were jabbed at constantly and I had to pull my hand back and tell the guy to stop. The nail color application was also horrible and the quality was poor too. Nail color was not shiny and cracked almost immediately. The application was all over my fingers (my skin, my cuticles.. he used more nail polish remover on my fingers than he did the nail polish on my nails. (insert eyeroll emoji here)... they also dont know how to clip nails.. I mean from start to finish the application and the service was poor, but what they offered was nice. They offer hot stones and a massage chair, but whats the point if I cannot walk out of there feeling like my nails are painted correctly. If they could get better technicians (and I had two and both were bad) maybe this would be better. I really have to agree with all those pictures of the poorly applied nail color application. I came here on a weekday afternoon, and four ladies arrived after me and were taken back for pedicures before I was (although none of us had appointments). The technicians spoke to each other throughout the service and appeared rushed towards the customers. My technician answered personal cell phone calls during my pedicure. Additionally, the space is under renovation, which makes for a less than relaxing environment for a mani/pedi (loud, poor ambiance). I'm quite disappointed with my service here. read more

In general though the staff was not very friendly when I tried to chat with them. At my last visit there was a misunderstanding and their customer service was terrible. Worst manicure & pedicure I've ever received. I went there 1 week ago and the day after the pedicure my feet were rough & peeling. The guy did a horrible job on my manicure before doing my gel nails. They looked just like they did when I came in. Plus I was charged an extra $5 for the manicure & when I complained about it before paying they did nothing to satisfy me as the paying customer. New and fabulous. Can be very busy, depending on time and day-quality of work isn't affected. I do my best to go when there is only one or two others. Pedicure area is in the back of the saloon, very peaceful and relaxing. I have had the herbal rose and stress/eucalyptus treatment - worth the price, these include a very nice stone massage. They use disposable liners and keep a very clean area. Nail polish colors are ample, they have OPI which is my favorite. I've yet to have a manicure or get gel nails, I'm remodeling-when I'm finished with my project I will. I have had brows waxed, they were shaped very nicely. I return every two weeks. The massage chairs are fab., I never mind if they let me soak for extra time and let me air dry- though they do have drying machines. I do tip 15-20% depending on cash in hand, I appreciate the cleanliness and quality. My only complaint are inconsiderate clients/individuals who insist on using their cell phones with sound on, takes away from the relaxing atmosphere - ladies turn your phone sounds off ... I have been here twice and had vastly different experiences. Basic pedicure both times. The first time, the tech (didn't catch her name) did an amazing, thorough job with a nice massage. The best pedicure I had in the triangle to date. I was elated to finally find my pedicure place. Three weeks later, I returned excited for another great experience. I got David this time. The entire pedicure lasted all of 20 minutes. Literally not even a minute of foot or leg massage. I have never had a pedicure anywhere that didn't include some form of massage. Minimal callous removal. The sugar scrub was quickly applied to each leg and rinsed off (took all of a minute for both legs). My nails weren't even filed evenly. I am VERY disappointed with this experience. This was the worst pedicure I have ever received. I would definitely avoid this technician if you come. read more

I have lived in the area since 2015 but haven't found a place I loved to get my nails done. I was home from college for the weekend and decided to treat myself. I went in to Natural Nail Salon after reading quite a few good reviews and they did not disappoint! Kai did a great job on my nails! I got a full set with regular polish for $30 before tip. I hesitate to review them badly because they're nice, but I had a bad experience. I usually go to Ruby Nails in Durham or Nail Yeah in Raleigh when I want nail art. But this place is closer to where I live, so I decided to take a chance. I called and was told I could come right away. When I got there, they had me soak my feet in a tub... for 30 minutes. Ok fine, they're busy. Then the pedicure was the most rushed, uncomfortable pedicure I've ever had. My nails weren't even filed evenly. Not a relaxing experience, but whatever. The thing that tipped me over the edge was the manicure. I have gotten gel manicures many places. None of those places dipped my nails into hot water. I was surprised when they did here. I looked it up later -- turns out you are not supposed to do that because the nail is supposed to be completely dehydrated and free of oils when applying gel nail polish. Sure enough, two days later, it's already chipping. Usually my gel nails last two weeks. Definitely will not be returning here. read more

I have been coming here almost since they opened. I have always found the staff friendly and helpful. I love the mani/pedi specials they have Monday through Wednesday. Even if there is a wait, they are attentive and let you know they haven't forgotten about you - which is a huge plus to me. I have never had a bad mani or pedi but feel they would be very open to discussing what you didn't like and fixing it for you. First I tried to get my nails done on Saturday they were closed early. I was disappointed because I had left work early to get there for 7 only to find out they were closed an hour earlier. I couldn't get back for Sunday because I was working. I was off Monday went into store at 2:15 they had 1 customer sitting in chair and another drying her nails. I asked if I could get my nails done. I explained my nails were broken from last visit and was hurting my fingers. The owner said to me I needed to make an appointment. I said I was here before no one told me that my next visit needed to be by appointment. Several workers came out from back because store was quiet they had no customers. I asked could anyone do my nails. Lady and Elly told me no I needed an appointment to come back. I was very bothered by their response because my first visit was pleasant. Had they told me this was a by appointments only I would have made one then...I ended up going to another nail salon up the block who had very nice service. I have gotten my manicure and pedicure done for more than 15 years. I had the worst experience at this shop. The reason I chose this place is because the place I usually go to was going to be a 2 hour wait. Only 2 people in this shop, now I can see why. The people in the shop was very unprofessional and not experience. It was too dark where they do the pedicure. He could not see how to properly file my toes. I wanted jel on my finger nails. He file my finger nails. He would not allow me to wash my hands afterwards. He places jel on top of the dust from filing of my nails. When I informed him I felt like crying. This was the worst experience I have ever had within the 15 years of getting my nails done. When I told them they were unprofessional they dismiss me from the shop. I wanted to purchase a gift card for a girlfriend for her birthday. The sign on the door indicates they open for business at 10:00am. I arrived early and waited. I looked inside and it seemed relatively clean (expect for the pennies dropped and left on the floor) and pleasant. You would think that someone would arrive a few minutes prior to opening to turn on the lights, place the sign outside, etc. , but apparently not so. Ok that's fine, and I wait (with my 1 year old)... finally at 10:10 I see 3 people enter through the back door. One comes to the front door to unlock it and open it. No friendly greeting and certainly no apology. I enter and another person asks what I need. I said I was interested in purchasing a gift card but asked whether it was common for the nail salon to open late- my friend has 2 young kids and every minute of her day counts! Again no apology, but rather she states "it was only 5 minutes." Actually, no it was 10 even by the clock on your wall.
