Our dogs didn't lose any weight like they usually do at other kennels, and they were happy and healthy looking. This kennel charges reasonable fees, too. I literally had the office manager tell me since I didn't like that they were making me pay an extra $84 to be seen just to get a refill that I am free to go elsewhere. Then, when I said so you don't care about keeping the customer, she shrugged her shoulders. There are so many other ways this could've been handled today. If you ever have a problem, they will not try to retain you as a customer. There is also very limited parking and today when we showed up for the visit there was a truck blocking the few spots that were available. If they want to actually show they care in the response below and/or comp our visit today, then I will consider changing my review, but after the way I was treated today, I am not expecting much. In addition, knowing time was of the essence as my pet was in pain, they did not call in my prescription leaving me to have to go do everything on my own even though I confirmed on the phone when making the appointment which pharmacy that I use. This makes my pet who is in pain have to wait even longer for her prescription. Calling in the prescription would've been the least they could do. If you ever have any issues, they don't care if they lose you to another vet proving they don't care about the human customer or the animal customer.

However, the first time I…read morewent he tried to give my pup medication and informed me of risks associated with it to his liver- I had to ask for a test to be done to see if his liver enzymes were in good condition to begin with (he was 12). Some months later he started exhibiting strange behavior (not related to the medication at all) and Dr fuller tried to give him an antibiotic without checking if he had an infection (I asked for the test and it turns out my baby was fine). Because there was no infection he diagnosed him with dementia from his symptoms and that there was nothing to do except get him on a stricter routine. Took him to get a second opinion 2 days later from a different vet because the diagnosis didn't feel right- that vet did the same type of evaluation Dr fuller did and said it was a brain tumor. This was later confirmed by a doctor that specialized in neurology who gave him steroids and pain meds to ease his symptoms and allow us time to say goodbye. He had to be put down 1 month after the incorrect dementia diagnosis

I originally had an appointment with Kami, which was canceled last minute. I was then booked with Martin at 10:30 AM on August 30th. I arrived on time and clearly described the haircut I wanted for my dog Marley: a teddy bear cut on his head and a 1 or 2 guard on his body. I was told the grooming process typically takes around 4 hours. However, I received a text at 3:24 PM--five hours after drop-off--indicating that Marley's grooming was just beginning. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one was able to clearly explain the delay or the timeline reflected in those texts, which left me to reasonably believe that Marley had been sitting in a cage for hours. This extended wait time was never communicated in advance, and I was not given the option to pick him up earlier. When I returned, it was clear the grooming had been rushed and did not reflect what I had requested. Had I known he'd be sitting in a cage that long, I would've picked him up. The haircut was rushed and poorly executed. His ears were still dirty, his sanitary area untouched, and his coat had long hairs all over. The cut on his face was not what I asked for and cannot be fixed until it grows out. When I raised these concerns, the initial response from the owner acknowledged the groom was not up to Boom Town's standards and offered to redo it. I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable returning after such a stressful experience for Marley. I requested a refund, which was denied. The tone of the conversation shifted dramatically after that, with the owner suddenly defending the groom and suggesting Marley was difficult--despite him having had many successful grooming appointments elsewhere without issue. I asked for a reasonable resolution, not an immediate response, and still received no explanation for why Marley's sanitary area wasn't trimmed, why his ears were filthy, why his breath wasn't refreshed, or why his face was cut so drastically different from the teddy bear style I requested. Marley is groomed every six weeks and previous groomers have confirmed he's never been difficult. It's clear that Martin was unable to communicate effectively and that the service fell short of Boom Town's own standards. Here's what I paid for but did not receive: * No sanitary trim * No breath refresh * No ear cleaning * Incorrect head and face cut I even offered to pay for the body cut, but requested a partial refund for the services that were either skipped or poorly done. I gave Boom Town every opportunity to make this right before resorting to a review or chargeback. Unfortunately, they chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this to help other pet owners make informed decisions. Marley was visibly anxious after the appointment, and the quality of service did not reflect the price or the promises made.

They were seeing all 4 of my animals, so they were making plenty of money on them. So i tried to save some bucks and shop around for their medicine. The clinic has a "will not deal with petmeds" policy. No matter the cost. I have to "mail in" a prescription. For someone who technically works for me, that is kind of outrageous. As a vet they are fine. But don't you go off and try to save money.
