Neck rope, waist rope and muzzle were used, and they noticed her stressed and continued. Suspicious story was given such as she jumped off the table three times and died with a hole in her tongue. I did not sue, I asked for a refund because ruining someone's life isn't going to bring my dog back. Use this business at your own risk.

It's a bit pricier than my normal boarding services at my girls vet…read more I think at their vet at Bryan Animal Clinic, they spend most of the day in their kennel vs Rowdy's where they have some freedom within their room and depending on the package deal, can live like kings or queens lol. We got the Cattle Baron's Suite which is the most expensive package of the 3. It was $80 per dog or if you bunk them together, then the 2nd pet is $65. It comes with a spacious room that has a cot for both and a TV in their room. They even have a doggy door that leads outside into their own private patio lol. I'm sure my girls had a blast since we don't ever take them out to interact with other dogs. They strictly house dogs and pad trained so going potty outside was probably a task I'm sure. I do love it here. It is a bit pricey, but with the services, I think it's pretty worth it. Staff is supposed to take pictures everyday and send it to you, but I was a bit bummed that they didn't do that on Sunday. The female staff in the front informed me that Sundays are busy for them and it's not guaranteed that pics will be taken and that they just let them go potty and put them back. My kids and I were looking forward to additional pics of the last day there especially if it's something their paperwork and my receipt states, that it comes with. It makes me wonder if I paid for the expensive package, but my girls didn't get the love and attention, splash pad and the other services that supposed to come with it. I'm going to choose to stay positive and assume that they did and give this place another try whenever we leave town again. The staff are friendly and I know they do what they can with what appears to be short staffed. We took a tour prior to coming here and we were impressed with the sizes of all 3 boarding services. They also provide grooming services as well. There is a vet clinic here which I am considering switching over to since we live minutes from here. Lots of parking as well.

I've taken my dog Marley to Boom Town before and had a decent experience, but this recent visit was…read moreincredibly disappointing. I originally had an appointment with Kami, which was canceled last minute. I was then booked with Martin at 10:30 AM on August 30th. I arrived on time and clearly described the haircut I wanted for my dog Marley: a teddy bear cut on his head and a 1 or 2 guard on his body. I was told the grooming process typically takes around 4 hours. However, I received a text at 3:24 PM--five hours after drop-off--indicating that Marley's grooming was just beginning. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one was able to clearly explain the delay or the timeline reflected in those texts, which left me to reasonably believe that Marley had been sitting in a cage for hours. This extended wait time was never communicated in advance, and I was not given the option to pick him up earlier. When I returned, it was clear the grooming had been rushed and did not reflect what I had requested. Had I known he'd be sitting in a cage that long, I would've picked him up. The haircut was rushed and poorly executed. His ears were still dirty, his sanitary area untouched, and his coat had long hairs all over. The cut on his face was not what I asked for and cannot be fixed until it grows out. When I raised these concerns, the initial response from the owner acknowledged the groom was not up to Boom Town's standards and offered to redo it. I declined, as I no longer felt comfortable returning after such a stressful experience for Marley. I requested a refund, which was denied. The tone of the conversation shifted dramatically after that, with the owner suddenly defending the groom and suggesting Marley was difficult--despite him having had many successful grooming appointments elsewhere without issue. I asked for a reasonable resolution, not an immediate response, and still received no explanation for why Marley's sanitary area wasn't trimmed, why his ears were filthy, why his breath wasn't refreshed, or why his face was cut so drastically different from the teddy bear style I requested. Marley is groomed every six weeks and previous groomers have confirmed he's never been difficult. It's clear that Martin was unable to communicate effectively and that the service fell short of Boom Town's own standards. Here's what I paid for but did not receive: * No sanitary trim * No breath refresh * No ear cleaning * Incorrect head and face cut I even offered to pay for the body cut, but requested a partial refund for the services that were either skipped or poorly done. I gave Boom Town every opportunity to make this right before resorting to a review or chargeback. Unfortunately, they chose not to take responsibility. I'm sharing this to help other pet owners make informed decisions. Marley was visibly anxious after the appointment, and the quality of service did not reflect the price or the promises made.

However, the facility is…read morevery inflexible. we were 11 minutes late due to having gotten lost, and they were just calling me to tell me I would have to pay a $60 no-show fee when I arrived. They did not make me pay that fee. But I had to come back the next day, and although I told them that she had already had her wellness appointment at that very clinic, and only needed two shots, they performed another wellness exam without consulting me and charged me $60 for it. I decided that she needed one more shot, the lepto shot, but I'm not going back there to get it because I don't want any more wellness exams.

It's either steroids and apoquel or a very expensive shot. The shot did not work and the steroids work great, but he would have to be on them constantly which could cause bigger issues. Dr. Baggs was recommended by a friend, so I thought I had nothing to lose in trying his practice. It's been a little over a month since our visit, and the (2) medicines given have worked wonders. I have spent hundreds if not thousands on new foods, allergy chews, omega oils along with vet visits for him. Nothing worked aside from steroids. He is back on just regular food, no special diet (which didn't work either) and is ITCH FREE ! He's a very happy dog...now
