The woman who answered the phone is very rude who appeared ready to fight. I ordered the seafood soup and shrimp with snow pea. They would charge $3 tip without telling customers. they delivered the food to you without the receipts so you couldn't recognize the tip been charged and would need to tip the driver again. And the driver would also discriminate you and being rude too. The restaurant probably run by illegal immigrants from china. ICE would start the investigation soon. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is always nice. The sushi chef is outstanding. Every sushi I have ordered has been flavorful. I like the Philadelphia roll, Ocean City roll, and the Lucky Star roll. The Chinese dishes have been well prepared. I like the Lover's delight; it has tender chicken and large shrimp. I wish the beef and broccoli was a little more consistent; sometimes the dish is heavy on the broccoli. Overall, this restaurant is so nice to have in Fruitland. I recently relocated back to Salisbury from the SF Bay Area; I appreciate the opportunity to find good Chinese, Japanese and Thai food in this area. Last week, I tried Lucky Star in Fruitland for the first time. When I picked up my food, the cashier had a mask on but she had it pulled under her nose...kinda defeats the purpose; I decided to shrug it off as a fluke. The food was pretty good so I decided to try them again today. Today, I went to pick up my food and while I was waiting, one of the staff brought food from the kitchen to the counter. She had the mask pulled down under her chin. Definitely not going back during this health crisis since it's apparent the staff doesn't care about my or your health. read more

This is one of the few places in Salisbury that will deliver delicious sushi in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered online tonight and immediately received a phone call from the restaurant informing me that the delivery time might be longer than expected. They asked me if I wanted to wait for delivery or if I preferred to pick up my meal in the restaurant, to save time. I was happy to wait for the delivery and my meal arrived in 40 minutes--not the fastest delivery ever, but at least they gave me a heads up about the wait time and the sushi was delicious. The Lunch Specials are delicious! I always get extra eggrolls, because I always have some leftovers. However, I could certainly eat the whole meal! My trick is getting the House lomein and mixing it with Szechuan beef. Haven't bothered going back to any places nearer to me since they can't compete with Lucky Star. I will never visit this restaurant again, though the customer service was not bad and neither was the taste of the food, but the way in which the food is prepared is not "traditional" Chinese food. I ordered the dish that includes breaded shrimp and scallops with broccoli in General Tso's sauce. This dish has large shrimp, which is a major plus, but the scallops' breading is much too thick. There is minimal sauce. Enough to coat the items in the dish but not enough to drizzle (much) over the dish including the rice. (Speaking of rice) The rice given with entrees is a knock off fried rice. I was disappointed when I opened the box and found that I was not given white rice (and this was not any sort of special, like a lunchtime combo. This was in the evening. I had no reason to not expect white rice with this $12 order.) my disappointment was heightened by 2 things: 1- the box was not completely full and 2- this was a LOOSE (not sticky) mix of white rice, brown-colored rice, 2 tiny pieces of scrambled egg without onion. Oh. And I also had only about 3 tiny, limp pieces of broccoli. Someone suggested this place and I backed their support with y'all reviews here on Yelp. I must say, y'all got it wrong this time. I ordered chow mein which is noodles and got a bowl of watery julienned vegetables . I called and asked "Isn't chow mein noodles?" and was told "No, that's lo mein . We do it differently here." They replaced my food which was nice but you can't just completely change the concrete definition of food items and say "We do it differently." Chow mein is noodles lol. Well we ordered our meal, and they had no problem delivering. My daughter ordered General TSO's chicken and said it was excellent, good flavor, good heat, well prepared meal. On the other hand, I had ordered Two Flavor Combination, Shrimp and Pork. What I got was not it. Some sort of beef and asparagus, which was not good at all. Pretty bland, could even compared it to hospital food. Also with the order I didn't order, was some sort of tomato base soup, with shrimp and vegetables. It didn't look or smell good, so it went to the round file. The egg roll was good, crispy and well made. Overall, not a happy camper tonight. Normally my husband and I come here once a week because he is just head over heels for the tiger eye rolls and we get a variety of other rolls to balance. We used to actually get pretty nicely sized rolls, then out of the blue last week when we ordered a chicken lo mein (no onions) and ~7 rolls (4 tiger eye, 1 avocado roll, 1 special tempura, and a shrimp tempura) they were so tiny! The tiger eye roll is normally huge and here it was the size of a quarter! Lo mein was good, just too much sauce. This evening, I ordered the steamed chicken no onions (I'm allergic to them and also pregnant) and my husband had his usual tiger eye rolls. My husband picked up our order for carry out and came home after being reassured by the owner at the register there was no onions before he even asked. He gets home and I begin to dissect the contents of the container. Aha! 3 extremely large onion chunks were right under the top piece of chicken. I politely called the restaurant and let the owner know. She almost didn't believe me because she kept repeating the chef said he didn't add onions. I went in with the food and got my refund which should take 7 business days. Really really really sad situation. Trying to support small businesses and you get lied to when you have an allergy. Best Chinese food I've ever had, and I lived in NYC for 35 years so that is saying something. It was so good we went back later in the week. My mom and I had the triple delight special with a side order of house fried rice (amazing) the first time. Savory, delicious, well seasoned and piping hot. The egg role was spot on, not greasy at all and the Miso soup was delicious. On the second visit my mom, being a creature of habit, ordered the same meal but I chose to have sushi. DELICIOUS! Well crafted, tight, fresh fish and extremely well prepared. They served a few sushi rolls that I had never heard of and our waitress was happy to explain what each of them were I will definitely go back when visiting Salisbury, MD, again. This is the best Chinese food within a 5-mile radius of SU. A few dishes have been less spicy than I expected but staff has usually been accommodating. Plus, the sushi is excellent and beyond the typical rolls. Sushi does take time to assemble but it is worth the wait. I'll admit that the cashier/front staff is less than friendly and at times borderline rude, but I don't take it personally. The interior is bland and basic but usually clean. Another reviewer spoke of fried rice that was limited in quantity and was mostly rice; I have never had that issue and usually my carry out containers are packed to the brim. Only problem is many of the wait staff don't listen to customers and hustle people out quickly even when restaurant is practically empty. My first time here was a great experience. Nice, clean atmosphere which surprised me considering the outside is fairly unassuming. I'm usually not a huge sushi fan but theirs was fresh, flavorful, and well executed. We also got general tsos, which in my book was well above average. +1 for presentation on both too.
