This place has good service, friendly staff, but the food is not great. The crab cakes are good, but not the best. We visited with a large party and we waited a while for our food. It was not hot and my steak had a very distinct metal taste that I have never encountered before. Their pasta was overcooked and the tomato sauce is not good. I have had a lot of Italian gravy in my life and I can always tell if a place is good by their sauce. The sauce (marinara) is very bland. Prego Four-cheese sauce is better. I also tried their Chicken Francese which was OK but not anything to rave about. I am always baffled when I see how busy they are. I guess they have a lot of regulars that are just happy with bland food. I would try another Italian option if you are looking for good Italian food. read more

A random stop on our way home from a quiet weekend. Italian food is my favorite and I wasn't feeling well so I knew rice or pasta was the way to go. We had the greatest server. Their lump crab cakes are awesome!! The service was great and the cleanup after people were done was done in no time and the table reset. The service the best we have experienced! The restaurant is spacious and lovely. We had a party of approximately 30 people. The manager worked on a menu that gave us choices for entrees and dessert. We started with salad and garlic and cheese bread sticks. I had the manicotti. The sauce was flavorful. The noodles were delicious. Our server worked mostly by herself. It would have been useful if she had extra help. Everyone seemed happy with their meals. There were lots of options for dessert. I had the Smith Island Strawberry cake. It was rich and delicious. I'd go back just for those breadsticks! They are huge and awesome. I'd also go back for the crab balls. No fillers and crispy but not fried. Melt in your mouth goodness. I can't recommend the red sauce or lasagna. It tastes like tomato paste and lacks even behind any jarred sauce. Stuffed flounder was beautiful. This is an old fashioned Italian restaurant. The kind that you would see in New York or Philadelphia. Just like those places you get the free bread and a free salad on your table. We love this! It's like being welcomed into someone's home. And the food tastes authentic. Today I am here with my significant other and I just turned him onto this place and he loves it. Previous visits were with my sisters for lunch and we loved it. If you came in with a party over six they can easily seat you. They do get busy after 5 so plan ahead. Great find. Drove 30 minutes to eat here and it was so worth it. My husband had the seafood platter. It had an excellent crab cake, fish, shrimp and scallops. I had the Spaghetti carbonara with chicken which was excellent. It was so rich I had to take half of it home. The meals came with a large bowl of salad to share and breadsticks. Loved the atmosphere. We arranged a birthday lunch celebration for 20 people at Fratelli's and it was just perfect. We pre selected 4 menu options of chicken Marsala, seafood pasta (like Alfredo with large shrimp on top), eggplant Parmesan and single crab cake with side. The food was delicious, my crab cake was huge, rich and flavorful, I got green beans side that came in tomato sauce. Plus all came with Olive Garden style salad and herbed-butter breadsticks. It was more than we could eat. They brought out their A game when they selected Alyssa as our service provider. She worked our table like a champ. Fast, friendly, never forgot a request. Everyone got a drink (mostly iced teas but I saw a few cocktails and wine glasses) and the final bill was on the order of forty per head. Spectacular deal as well. i am very dissatisfied with this restaurant. 6 of us went for lunch. One of our group didn't want his salad so he offered it to me, I accepted and only took a small portion of it. When the bill came there was a $5.00 charge on my bill for side salad. I asked the waitress why this was added, she said the owner said to add it to my bill because it wasn't my salad but yet I had some of it. Unbelievable! in all my years of going out to eat I have never seen such a money hungry place. So sad for them, they got their $5.00 and lost 6 customers. Everyone at the table was astonished that the owner would do this and said they would never return. I wish there were 0 stars because that's what they deserve. read more

Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wonderful desserts. Let me tell you the staff is extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. They know what they're doing and what they're talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food and service were excellent. The restaurant is rustic and could use an update. Crab cakes were excellent and the price was reasonable in 2024!!! If you like bourbon, the old fashion is less than $10 which you don't see too often u less you're in happy hour. Also the desserts were excellent and very inexpensive. My wife and I loved the tiramisu, tiramisu with cheesecake, and strawberry cheesecake. Most of their desserts are homemade and you can taste it. Great place to visit to get great food. read more

This place was so good, not a single complaint. Super clean and decorated so nice. I always love walking into a restaurant that cares about its atmosphere!!! Especially around the holidays, it was lovely seeing the little trees and Christmas decorations set up in Fratelli's! Our server, Victoria, was attentive and quick to get our food, drinks, and check in. The bread and salad came out and tasted fresh and wonderful. The bread was soft and we loved dipping it in the salad dressing!! For entrees, I ordered the penne vodka and my SO ordered spaghetti with bolognese. I am picky about my vodka sauce, and I adored Fratelli's sauce. It isn't insanely spicy, or too creamy, or too tomato-ie. The bread tastes good in it too!! :) I tried the bolognese, I am not a huge meat fan but enjoyed the bite I had of this sauce. SO are the whole thing in one sitting!! Tiramisu was creamy, sweet, and had the distinct rum and coffee tastes as well. They are not too strong!! All in all we had a great experience at Fratelli's, and I am looking forward to coming back when I am in Salisbury again! read more

Absolutely LOVE this place. Whenever I'm in MD I make the time to eat here. Every single time I go, the food and service are excellent. As a former restaurant Manager myself, I watch Alyssa (Server/Manager) doing her job, while scanning the room to see who else needs help. She's literally half the reason we go. Sadly this will no longer be a go to for me and my family. We planned dinner with my parents for my step mother's birthday this evening 11/10/25 along with some of their church members. Being Seventh-day Adventist they have diet restrictions. A pizza was ordered with pineapple and green peppers but came out with pepperoni and green peppers. SDA aren't permitted to eat pork and this woman hasn't had pork in years. The pizza was sent back to have the issue corrected. Rather than making a new pizza or at very least ensuring no pepperoni was on the pizza they loaded it with pineapple and sent it back out. It was sent back a second time and was finally right on the third time being brought to the table, once everyone else was done eating. Here is where the real issue arises. When the check arrived the pizza was still on the check. I asked to speak with the manager (her name is Alyssa). She came to the table with attitude stating since another one was made she can't comp it from the check. This is unacceptable in my eyes. You fed someone an item they aren't allowed to eat and do absolutely nothing to right the wrong. On top of which you have an attitude with the entire table. Alyssa needs a stern talking to on what it means to treat customers well. No one from this table of 8 will be returning as long as she is employed there. read more

My family loves Fratelli's but the only thing I really loved was my waitress, Megan. I had the shrimp scampi and it was very mediocre, I asked for extra sauce so I could "doctor" it up when I got home. Extra sauce will cost you $3.00. Everyone loved their crab cakes but from my previous visits they are very whatever but at least they're huge. My husband liked his lasagna and the pizza is good. overall, it's an okay choice. I went to this restaurant after a recommendation from some local friends. I was thoroughly disappointed with the service and treatment I received. My wife and I arrived before our total party of six and asked to be seated. We are all seniors so I asked to be moved to a table from a booth. The staff was not accommodating and were quite frankly rude. After the complete party arrived, we felt ignored and decided to leave. We asked to speak to the manager and we were told the manager was not there. We asked to speak to the supervisor on-site and we were told he didn't speak English. I told the staff that in all my years of travel in the 22 years I spent in the military, I had never been treated like that. We used Door Dash and had food delivered for lunch from Fratelli's. The meatball parmigiana sub for $7.00 served with French fries and choice of soup was a great price. I enjoyed the meatball sub, however, the cream of crab soup tasted of flour. All four of us agreed that the cream of crab soup was awful tasting and wished we ordered the MD crab soup. We were all shocked because Fratelli's is known for the crab cakes. Oh my God, I am a New York girl looking for good Italian, and I found this place my husband and I loved everything about it. The only thing we had a problem with was they don't use as much garlic as we do but that might be because people out here don't use this much garlic as we do, the waitress was wonderful what a pleasant gal she was and the food was very tasty. We had the mussels appetizer which was wonderful and my husband had veal piccata which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the seafood fettuccine but instead of fettuccine noodles I had angel hair pasta. Fratellis was highly recommended by the local hotel staff. I was told fantastic homemade pasta and awesome seafood. Okay that got my attention. In reality though, I was greatly disappointed ! I ordered the Seafood Alfredo, only change the sauce to Vodka Sauce; waitress was no problem... Kudos for accommodating customer tastes. It came with salad and bread sticks. Waitress informed me that the dressing was house made Italian. I will admit that the dressing was tasty; the only problem was the the salad was way over dressed. We are talking that the veggies were all swimming in the dressing. Warm raised yeast dough bread sticks with garlic butter brushed across the middle of them. The bread sticks really needed the garlic butter as the bread sticks tasted as if there was no salt added to the dough. The whipped garlic butter was amazing though!!! Yum!!! My pasta looked amazing, but that's where amazing stopped. My linguini was way overcooked and mushy. The Vodka Sauce was flat; the fresh shredded cheese, salt nor pepper helped it. The seafood was fresh, 4 large shrimp, 4 large scallops, and a scattering of lump crab meat. Again seasoning and texture were the issues. Those beautiful scallops could have been amazing if they had been seasoned and then seared before placing on the dish; instead they were mushy (searing would have given them texture) and they got lost in the bland mushy linguine. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, but again no seasoning. The few large lumps of crab were tasty, but the rest got lost. I really wanted to like this place; I love house made pasta. Overcooking linguini is the ultimate sin for pasta. I really liked the house Cabernet (Copper ridge), and it was a good pour. The food had potential to be a knockout, but it only earned 1 star and that's pushing it. One additional star for the waitress. read more
