Cons: Not a lot of balls when it is busy so people were walking up to others to ask to take their balls. When we got there, we weren't sure how many games we wanted to play and if we wanted to bowl 3 each to get the special, but the cashier said we could bowl whatever # we wanted and then decide later how to split it up when we were finished. We were litetally talking with her about the about the buy-2-get-1-half-off deal when she said that. When we went to check out to pay, a different cashier would not honor the special and said we would have had to pay for that at the beginning. The first cashier NEVER said that! I saw her afterwards and questioned it, and she said something like, "oh, yeah, you'd had to buy that before you started," and blew me off. I told her she never said that, and the rest of my party agreed 100%, and that she had told us she'd split it up after, but that didn't seem to matter. That's a bit of bait and switch action. Dishonest. We played 10 games total, 4 shoe rentals, and got ZERO discount, but should have gotten 3 games at half price. Also, they don't split a check by dollar amount, but by line item, which was also less convenient. Disappointing experience to have to pay more than expected and the cashier could have cared less.

My son's birthday party was here and as soon as we walked in, the two lanes we reserved had been set up in the cutest way ready for a party! We brought some balloons and table decor, but they had a whole buffet style set up decorated with a neutral farmhouse kind of decor behind the bowling alleys and it was very convenient for when everyone was ready to eat! The manager on duty came over and formally introduced himself to us before our party began. I believe his name was James, but I could be wrong. He was very cordial and had a great smile when he spoke to us. Then, a very sweet young lady named Morgan came over about 45 mins later while all the kids were bowling to introduce herself and let us know she will be taking care of anything we need during the party. She refilled our drinks and food constantly & even got us a cake slicer and brought out some plastic forks when it was cake time because I forgot to bring forks and a cake slicer. My son had a BLAST with his friends bowling and going into the arcade area!! Everything was just perfect!!! Each child was given a $5 credit on their arcade card and a $5 gift card to come back and bowl at Bowlero. I loved how that was part of the package too! We took some of the food home because it was so good! I mean I really didn't expect to have good food at a bowling alley but this place was great! At the end of our experience, the manager came by to ensure everything went well and even introduced the cook to us. He was very nice too! When I complimented his food, he explained how the chicken tenders are breaded fresh to order and how he changes out the oil for his fries every time too! That's why something so simple as chicken tenders and French fries can taste SOOOOO good! I mean they far succeeded my expectations! We will definitely be coming back here again! I even tried to convince my boy to have a party here again next year! Haha!

I had a few bites from the food place inside as well as a soda. I did not order from the menu. It was set up in the bar area part of the package that the company purchased us. The food was ok.Then I went off to bowl. It was a lot of fun. It is not a very busy bowling area but it was still nice and well maintained. They also have many games that you can play in their gaming area. You can also win prizes as well. They have plenty of parking in their parking lot. The young lady might not have understood some things but I believe his man was Andre' was on it. Helped out extremely! The food service area was horrible. Maybe we were too early, but it took for-ever- er to get some drinks and food even ordered. Then it took forever to get the food, then once we got the food we never saw the server again... yes we had paid our tab but we needed refills on drinks and to go containers. I even went to the dinning room hostess who was looking at Facebook when I walked up and ask her, but they still NEVER came. It finally took a lady in plain clothes. To finally get us Togo containers. We never did get our drink refills!!

Diamond - 5 Stars Jacob - 1 Star…read more After an extra long visit to SC, a friend suggested we hang out before I head back to NYC. We ended up stopping at The Grand around 9/9:30pm on a Saturday. Upon entering the hostess informed us they were currently only serving the late night menu. We said no problem and elected to grab seats at the bar. There were several empty tables and a few empty seats @ the bar. However, the only two seats together at the bar needed to be cleared from the last patrons that were seated. We stood there for over 20 mins while Jacob continued to walk by never acknowledging us or the fact that we couldn't sit. When he finally cleared the dishes he just walked away, never cleaning the area. When he returned he still never greeted us or apologized for the wait, the mess... nothing. Jacob: What are you having? Me: Well hello... Jacob: Yea... what do you want? Me: Wow... ok. For starters can you please whip off the bar so we can properly have a seat. There is still food residue here from the last customers. ** we get a visible huff** He wipes down the bar and we proceed to order drinks, while he never really speak any more it's all via motions and body language. Amongst ourselves we check in with one another to confirm that we both were feeling very unwelcome. Instantly we decide that we will not be ordering anything additional and will be leaving after this one drink. Which is just as well because Jacob never returns. Someone , whom I can only assume was of a mangement status, asked if Jacob was helpful and we promptly and simultaneously said no and that we would like or bill. She shook her head in utter disbelief and disgust but then she also disappeared. Just so happened that Diamond, whom was on the other side of the bar happen to walk pass. She stopped and asked if we were ok after witnessing our frustration. We explained that we wanted the check and why we were leaving. She was super apologetic and closed out our tab. Her energy literal turned the experience around and if she would have came to our rescue sooner we would have considered staying. Thank you Diamond. Just A Note: Unfortunately, bad first impression because The Grand seems like it may offer a good time with the bowling lanes in the back.

At one point, when they first opened, I thought they were pretty good. The customer service is always great on the few and far visits that I have returned recently. The food is not terrible, but the quality is not always great. It's like if you just cared a little more and delivered food to the table while the temperature of the food was still warm, it would actually be better. This particular lunch visit, I ordered the catfish nuggets. They were just okay, and for the price, there's no alignment. I would not order those again if I returned. I ordered the chicken sandwich. My chicken breast was fried until the breading was black. It looked like the grease they were frying in was old, or they left the chicken in too long. The replacement they returned was so small it would have been a chicken tender. Its breading also reflected that the grease was old; however, they didn't burn it that time. I just accepted it to move on with lunch. The fries are good as well as the bacon jam. I hope they are able to turn it around and early start to care about what they are serving.

Everyone was very pleasant! So one thing that you should know for certain, once you step in the building, you're about to over pay for everything. Another fact, the food is not going to be gourmet. All that to say, you have to level set your expectations. That's just reality. Okay, onto the food. They have a variety of menu items with pages and pages of drinks. The cocktails are great, and I love that they offer Icee's. We ordered the kids pepperoni pizza, and it was a kid size personal pan. My kids enjoyed it. We also had the mozzarella sticks which were pretty tasty actually. The cheeseburger was good, I think they forgot my bacon jam now that I'm thinking about it. They were not stingy with the bacon which I really appreciated it. The ingredients looked fresh. The brioche bun was great. The fries were the season fries. Shoestring fries or regular fries would have been better. The chicken tenders are the best thing there. The grilled shrimp wasn't bad either. The food was not as bad as I thought it would be after the reviews. The thing is it is so expensive, but again you already know it's like going to a theme park and expecting fair prices. The temperature of the food was good as well. We had a lot of fun with the new additions!
