Our Girl Scout Troop planned a bowling event for the girls. I have not been to Mustang Alley in years so it was great to return. To get to the bowling alley it is located on the 2nd floor in which the elevators will take you there. They bowled on 2 lanes and had a great time. We ordered a food platter which included chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and wings. There is a bar available for adults only of course. Street parking is available. Mustang Alley's brings the best vibe! Their playlist was fantastic. Service was incredible! Loved that a server came over to us multiple times while playing to check in and put food and drink orders in. He even gave us a pitcher of water which was nice. We went with friends but I could definitely see it being a great date night spot given that it's an adult only bowling/ duckpin alley! Seeing how they sanitize each part of shoes after use was pretty reassuring they care about cleanliness. Didn't grab any food this time. But the table next to us ordered loaded fries that looked pretty good! read more

I attended a birthday celebration here on a Friday evening while I was visiting family in Baltimore. The bowling alley is located in the Little Italy area. I circled the block several times looking for a parking spot which I finally found on a side street. Parking can be tricky In this area so I read all the signs to ensure I would not get a parking ticket. The outside of Mustang alley & Bistro is unassuming. I had to ask someone standing outside if I was at the correct place since I didn't see any signs. Once I took the elevator up and the doors opened, I was pleasantly surprised. The place is upscale with a large bar area and a nice amount of lanes to bowl. Our host had already paid for the lanes and shoes so when we walked in the friendly staff handed us shoes in our size and I was able to purchase socks for only $2 since I was wearing sandals. The socks were super cute. There were about 20 people in our group and I was starving. I wasn't sure what to expect from the food and with such a large group I anticipated it would take a long time to get our orders back. The young man who was our waiter was professional and friendly, he took everyone's order and did not get anything wrong. Our drinks came out fast, I had the Boozy Blueberry lemonade, it was decent. My entrée was delicious. I had the Crab cakes with a Ceasar salad and fresh steamed mixed veggies. I didn't see my entrée on the menu but our waiter suggested it and when in Baltimore if available I always order crab cakes. They weren't the best that I've had but exceeded my expectations for where we were at. Bowling was fun. Everything was clean including the restroom. We had such a cool experience at Mustang Alley's! A group of us went for a birthday party and I'd definitely return. They had so many drinks to choose from (that blueberry lemonade!) beer, cocktails, etc and so much food (the southwest egg rolls were the perfect munchy food, but I would skip the broccoli bites- they weren't too good). The atmosphere was great too- a chill bar, a few lanes, very friendly and attentive waiters. I was also really grateful they allowed us to finish our game even though we hit time. This was my first time at this swanky bowling alley and it exceeded my expectations! Mustang Alley is outfitted with a couple of duck-pin and classic 10-pin bowling lanes, well designed for bowling and/or dining in fun, relaxed, and charming ambiance. Parking is available at Little Italy Garage or street parking. Upon arrival, we had a smoothly easy check-in for our 11-person group, the staff were so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bar is gorgeous, just a nice structure centering the bowling restaurant. It was my birthday and sipped on some Blue Moon on tap (yum!) or Boozy Berry Lemonade (super yummy!) Our 1.5 hours of bowling was fun, the music was spot on, and the lights made it a fun night! Our bowling reservation paced well, but now I wish we did 2 hours of bowling! One minor downfall is the outside ambiance/finding it - I found it slightly challenging and it's not super well advertised outside! In all my time in Baltimore I can't believe I have not been here! This place was so much fun. I went to hang out with some friends and they recommended this bowling spot. The place is kind of difficult to find. My spouse and I walked around looking for the entrance. Its towards the side and you'll have to take an elevator up. Once we arrived the staff was helpful in getting out shoes. Here you will have to give your shoes and will be given them back once you return your shoes. The place felt like a cool bar, like those bars that you imagine you'd be in when you grew up. Kinda classy, kinda kickback. I remember thinking, this is the kinda bar I would love to hang out in. The drinks were delicious and reasonable. The staff was nice and prompt. They served our food quickly and were fast to bring out refills. The bowling itself was a little meh, the machines kept breaking and giving us odd scores. The balls were also getting stuck. It seemed like it was an issue on other lanes. I think overall its fun to be at and look forward to trying it again when in baltimore. read more

Let me start this off by saying the outside was a little bit intimidating, especially because of the location and the parking... When you go inside, you have to go in an office building and get in a really weird elevator to go upstairs to the alley itself. However, once you get upstairs, the ambience is extremely nice and the music was more than pleasing. My friends and I went here and we had an absolutely amazing time. They both duck bowling and regular bowling, a really great menu with a lot of choices, and our server Kyle was extremely nice, friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of. Our food came out very quickly and was SO delicious, we ate it so fast I couldn't even get any pictures! Highly recommend the Crab Fries and Firecracker Shrimp!! Don't waste your time. Booked a same-day reservation with open slots showing online. Two hours later, got a call offering a refund due to a "lane malfunction." Sounds more like overbooking than an actual issue. If lanes aren't working, don't let people book and get charged. Simple. Manager couldn't even confirm my email correctly -- clearly just working down a list of cancellations. Never got a confirmation email either. We used to come here for date nights, but after this situation, we will not be coming back. This could've been handled way more professionally. read more

We came in on a Thursday night without a reservation. Oops! It turns out that Wednesday and Thursday are their bowling league nights so the only lanes available were duckpin lanes. I didn't mind because I suck at all types of bowling but be mindful if that's a deal breaker for you. Additionally, be advised that they close early (9:30 PM) on league nights. The place itself was one of those "bowling but it's cool" places with a bar, a good music selection, and ambiance. Up to six people can bowl per lane reservation and it's $52 per hour per lane. I like the fact that you can order from the lanes and they'll bring your drinks right to you. I didn't like the sticky balls *shudders*. Mustang Alley is a good time and worth a look. read more

Long before I was a regular Yelper, I used to go to Mustang Alley virtually every Friday night. I didn't bowl but I'd spend my time at the bar, drinking beer, eating excellent food, and shooting the sh*t with the bartenders. The ambiance, despite the sounds of balls hitting the lanes and striking pins, was great! The music was good and the environment was plush, clean with low lighting. I've not been to Mustang Alley in years and am actually surprised it is still open, as I thought it had been bought out or closed or something, plus all that construction on Central was a deterrent. But I recently signed up to be on a bowling league and lo and behold, the league games are held at Mustang Alley! Going back yesterday was just like old times. I took the stairs (never the elevator) and walked back in time. Mustang Alley is exactly as it's always been, there are just people working there I've never seen before. And actually bowling was a ton of fun! I wasn't good at it, but had a blast. The seating at the lanes is tight but comfortable. Staff was constantly coming through the area picking up empty glasses, buckets of beer bottles, and used dish ware. And they made sure we were taken care of. So, great experience per the norm and I'm excited to be hanging out at Mustang's again for this league season and hope to get back more regularly for fun times at the bar! read more

Solid 4.5 stars in my book! I have lived in Baltimore for a few years and I have definitely been sleeping on Mustang Alley. We came here for a work event and I was so glad to check this out. The inside was very cute and eclectic (the mood lighting and nice seating made it a step above your typical suburban-style bowling alley). The drinks at the bar looked nice (e.g., copper mug for the moscow mules, etc.) and the music was good. They had both duckpin bowling and regular bowling and, of course, shoes available for rent! I loved that I saw staff disinfecting the shoes in between rentals. Just a note - it can be somewhat hard to find. The actual bowling alley is on the 2nd floor (take the elevators from the mini lobby that they have). Would definitely recommend for a party or gathering of some sort! read more

Such a fun place ! We had a group to do duck pin bowling for a birthday. We booked weeks in advance and it was set up for us went we got there. No masks are needed when you're in your bowling area. There's hand sanitizer to use for you and you get your own server. The shoes come with the price to rent lanes & we rented them for two hours. Music is a great mix of different genres. Lanes are lit up and fun. The food is just okay bar food so I would avoid. The bowling itself was reasonably priced and a fun time! read more

Came here with hubz on a date night. There's a lot of street parking around if u don't mind walking a little. It's located on the 2nd floor of a building.... I THINK kid free after 7:30?? It's a small place but packs a punch. Plenty of lanes all acquired thru reservations only which is good. There are plenty of balls and there's a bar with decent drinks. I wasn't too crazy about the food but everything else made up for it. I would highly recommend to friends or couples looking for some friendly competition and good drinks! read more

We were here for our annual team party. Such an amazing place. Great rustic decor unlike other bowling alleys that are too flashy for someone's comfort. I really liked their interiors. Takes you back to the early 2000s. It's a nice place for team building activities. We had a nice spread of food that had from crab dips, egg rolls, homemade chips, grilled chicken slider, beef slider, fish slider, salad and delicious vegetarian kabobs. We had a open bar so I tried Miller's lite and temptation cocktail. I had to limit my drinks as I had to drive a long way. We then spent time at the bowling alley. Unfortunately our lane (10) was not functioning well as we had to reset it every time someone got a strike. Also, it would sometimes reset my pins when only a couple of pins were left and it was still my turn. Great place for good food, drinks, and bowling. I went here for a private event where the entire venue was reserved and it was a great night. They put out a buffet of food and gave us drink tickets and we had the alley to ourselves for unlimited bowling. Half of the lanes are for regular bowling and the other half is for duck pin bowling which is a unique Baltimore variant with smaller pins, smaller balls, and 3 shots per frame. We had a slight mechanical issue on one of our lanes but it was fixed in short order. I also appreciated how it wasn't excessively loud, they didn't blast music at top volume forcing people to shout to be heard like many places. The food was all good even though I did t have much. They had both entrees and a salad station. The greens were fresh enough and the Mac & Cheese was not too heavy or salty. I didn't have the sliders since I don't eat red meat and didn't have the veggie/chicken skewers since I wasn't hungry enough but they looked good. Overall it was a very fun evening and I would definitely come back here. Highly recommended for a private event and I'm sure it's a fine place to go just for a night out with a small group. read more

Everything was great tonight during our visit to Mustang Alley's at 1300 Bank Street, Baltimore in the Holland Manufacturing Building above Heavy Seas Brewery. Okay so drinks can be wines like Beringer White Zinfandel, Blue Fish, Germany, Canyon Road, Ecco Domani, Dark Horse, Monkey Bay, Sycamore Lane, William Hill, Central Coast, Sonoma Cutrer, Russian River Valley, Mirassou, Cellar 8, Louis Martini, Alamos, or Apothic Red. Sangria!! Or SPECIALTY COCKTAILS like Ruby Red Tequila Fizz, Boozy Blueberry Lemonade, Lemon Drop, The Doll Martini, Moscow Mule, Mustang Margarita, Strike Punch, Dreamsicle. And if Beer is your thing a full selection of Drafts, Bottles, and Cans! Onto food, with a huge selection of about 12 appetizers (and they are full size appetizers), loaded fries, wings, pizzas, tacos, sliders, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and wraps, and a full selection of desserts too. Focus on striking out on the lanes, because you'll sure not strike out on the food and drink selection. Service too is on point for sure.  Michelle was great to have help us this particular night.  But the real rockstar was Kyle at the Bar.  Kyle is excellent.  Fast, super helpful, friendly, funny, and eager to help at every turn.  Kyle you really are awesome. We threw a 40th bday party at Mustang Alley's on 5/5/18. The whole process was smooth and they were on top of everything. From the time I booked the lanes and reserved tables for dinner until the very end, each associate I worked with was pleasant, knowledgeable, and on top of things. When we arrived, the table (for 20 people) was already set. They already had our food orders because I sent that to them 2 days before the party. Guests began to arrive at 6 pm, and at 6:30 our food came out. Everyone loved their food. I got the blackened salmon tacos and an order of fries. The tacos were absolutely delicious. The guest of honor got buffalo chicken fries and shared some with me. They were also delicious. I ordered (quite a few lol) "Doll" martinis and absolutely loved it. Our waitress (yes, there was only 1 waitress for all 20 of us!) was amazing. She really handled a large group so well, and all by herself. The cake we got had to go in the fridge, and they allowed us to store it in there. Even after we ate and began to bowl, they let us put the cake back in the fridge. They were just so accommodating and friendly and just amazing. I can't thank them enough for helping us put together such a great evening. I highly recommend that you book a party here! What a fun place to roll a few strings and have something good to eat. It's on the second floor of an office building, which is weird, but whatever. Service is excellent, everyone from the front counter to the back of the house was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are single stall, clean and well supplied. We had six people and they tried to shoehorn us into the booth with another party of six, which was impossible without at least two people sitting on end tables (helpful hint, don't eat food off the end tables...). There are duckpin and ten pin lanes available and lanes are rented by the hour. Ball return was intermittent and got jammed at one point, which, when paying by the hour can be a annoying. Food was really good, especially for a bowling alley. Pizza was crisp and tasty. Good crust, sauce and toppings. Tacos were also a favorite, with fresh salsa. The cheese is still cubed, which is odd, but didn't detract from the experience. Overall, a really fun way for the family to enjoy an afternoon, check it out. read more

Horrible is an understatement ! I wasn't there for more than 15mins & was disgusted. I wasn't greeted or welcomed upon arriving. As my partner went to the counter to pay for our session, I was having brief dialogue with a friend. A young lady came from around the corner with a bottle in her hand & inserted, "You can't have a dog in here." I replied, "That's just fine, we're leaving. Thank you." She smirked & walked away to the business she originally had with the bottle. There was a wait time, so during our exit I informed my parter of what happened & he was shocked. I asked him to call & request a refund, since we couldn't return. The manager was on the phone. I greeted her respectfully & asked her was she the young lady who told me my dog couldn't be with me? She informed "no" she never saw me or the dog, but she's the manager. This is where the experience went from horrible to disgusting! The manger also lacked professionalism. I refuse to get rude with anyone, but especially individuals working in service. I informed the manager there was a better way her employee could've addressed me to inform me of any concerns or rules. They had no clue my dog is a service dog. And even after informing the manager this over the phone, she proceeded to say 5 times or more, "it must be a REAL CERTIFIED service dog, not support!" My dog is actually a service dog & her credentials are always with me. I informed the manger this & she replied, "I heard a worker say there was a dog here, but I thought it was a joke because, who brings a dog to a bowling alley!?" And she laughed. I informed her that, I do & this would've been my dogs second time actually. That comment in itself after all I informed her put the icing on the cake for me. Her staff member lacked professionalism because she lacks professionalism. You have to be mindful of what you say to anyone. Especially a paying respectful customer. Dog attending or not, this was not okay. I'll be sending my 13k followers to every bowling alley in MD, but Mustang Bowling Alley. Take this as a teachable moment on how to treat anyone coming to your bowling alley from today on. Btw it's my birthday & they had no clue. Over the phone I felt racially profiled due to the unprovoked over talking & the reiteration of things I heard her say clearly & understood didn't apply to me. Admittedly I'm not a bowler. I hate it in fact.. but in went for a birthday party for a friend (my 2nd Time here) and it was nice. It's nicer than a normal bowling alley and I think a nice date spot (for people who like to bowl or others who just want to eat). I would come back just and only for the food and drink.. you know cause of the whole hate bowling thing. I had a Doll martini which was perfection. The pizza was yummy as well as the wings. The crab fries were spectacular! Note. I see many reviewers have complaints about the cost of the food. I didn't actually pay for any of the food so can't really speak to that. read more

Great place to bowl in Baltimore. Atmosphere is electric, lanes are good, and service is good. Always greeted when coming in! The shoe rental staff is friendly and often very comical when grabbing bowling shoes. The last few times I've visited, the bar staff has been some what out of it. Friendly but long wait times for drinks, takes a while to close out tabs, and goofing off while ignoring customers. This is not normal most of the time. The food is very good bar food. Elevated and flavorful. The lanes are great. Balls are often tough to find as they are located under the booths and very dark. Lots of seating. The service to the lanes for drinks and food is fast and reliable. Overall will continue to visit as it is a great place for groups and work functions. read more

Came here to celebrate a friend's accomplishment. We a sat at the bar first and ordered food as we waited for people to arrive. We then moved to the lane at the designated time. This was a great time. I ordered the southwest eggrolls. I also tried a slice of the cauliflower pizza, which was delicious! I highly recommend it. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I've had two great experiences at Mustang Alley's; once with my team from work, and once with a group of friends. The service is always great and the food is really good. I paid in advance to rent a lane for 2 hours. It was $90 which is a good deal if you everyone chips in (the maximum people per lane is six). I wish we had reserved it longer because the time flies by (a 15 minute warning will appear on your screen which is really helpful). The crowd was very small on a Thursday night (and the bar had a few patrons). The music on the speakers was a mixed variety. I liked that it was loud enough to jam to, but not too loud where you have to shout to be heard. Al, at the front, was so funny and helpful; and our server was equally as nice. The food was really good and reasonable. I love that they have tables in the bowling area so you can eat while you wait your turn. And hand sanitizer is plentiful which is a great touch! I planned an appreciation work event here at the end of August. I called to inquire and was given the event coordinator's info (Lindsay). She was very flexible and very responsive -- she made the whole process seamless. The prices for buffet options were reasonable. And on the day of the event everyone was very attentive and the food was great. I had my hesitations about choosing bowling as an option but after a very stressful phase of our project, it was a great way for everyone to let loose for a night. read more

My adult kids were in town for Mother's Day. With rain forecast for the weekend, I was looking for a fun, indoor activity. I got lucky and found an open time at Mustang Alley's. We made reservations for lunch, followed by duckpin bowling. For lunch...wings, southwest egg rolls, sliders, sweet potato fries. It was our first time duckpin bowling. I reserved 1.5 hours, but suggest 2 hours. With 4 of us playing, we needed 2 hours for 2 games. Our time ended before we finished the second game. The staff was nice and so were the other people bowling around us. All in all, a good time. We will definitely be back. read more

I had the best time here. The music was current and eclectic. The food was not anything gourmet or worth writing home about but the Old Bay wings, Buffalo Wings, And nachos and queso we got to munch on were all pretty solid. I liked the bartenders and they poured great drinks. The strike punch signature cocktail was yummy and packed a punch. We went for a birthday party that had approx 20 ppl & we were all accommodated nicely so I would definitely recommend this place for groups. Complaints would be wait staff are hard to keep up with and parking. Parking is a pain.. kinda on the outskirts of Fells Point. My favorites are Nachos Jerk Chicken Spring Rolls Spinach Alfredo Pizza I believe they rotate the desserts.. but the homemade chocolate cookies with ice cream, is worth the drive and hunt for parking alone. I can count the amount of times i have gone bowling, once, so it goes without saying that its not my thing. I was thankfully convinced to try it out. Glad i did. I am always in and around the building be it picking up food all these years and i didnt know it housed a bowling alley lol. Mustang Alley's was great, rental of a lane for an hr was $45, the bowling was fun and great. I really enjoyed myself. The food was good and delicious along with the drinks. I ordered the Charm City Burger, crushes are $6 from 12-2 weekends, and the magaritas i ordered were solid. Service was prompt and attentive.
