I got my third tattoo at this shop this past weekend. I had Aaron. In other reviews he's great, but I must have had him on a bad day. I got my tattoo on one of the worst spots, top/side of my foot and I've never experienced this type of pain. I know I made it harder on Aaron because of the pain but he did an amazing job. I just want to say that I hope it was a bad day he was having and I hope he isn't like that with other customers. It was concerning because he kept mentioning suicide and finding a new job because he was tired of being a tattoo artist. I truly hope he gets the help he needs. I have dealt with suicide loss and know how hard all of that is which made my session not easy to get through. read more

Friends and I come down to Clearwater every six months and we always stop by to get something done by Adam. He's always welcoming when we walk in. Takes the time to align stencils perfectly and line up piercings so that they are even (especially if you have surrounding piercings). I trust him with all the work he does on me and any alterations to make my tattoo as perfect as could be. A very straight forward and honest guy. I'm giving 1 star purely off of the experience we had. The tattoos themselves are fine, we didn't ask for anything difficult so I cant vouch for the art itself. What I can attest to is the racist, misogynistic, outright disgusting conversation we had to endure. My two best friends and I walked in, Adam seemed nice and drew our tattoos and made an appointment with us the next day. After already starting the tattoos on us the comments began. Just to name a few there was the comparing of handicap children to dogs, the comment about how "all he could think of when watching The Walking Dead when Rick and Michonne got together how bad she smelled, women do not deserve child support or alimony because "we wanted equality and burned our bras, we asked for it". We also learned how racist snoop dogg is in "white face" and about "liberal soy boys". When I stated I was vegan - the question I received was "do you swallow?". There were many derogatory comments about basically anything you could think of all while saying he was "all for equality". It was completely uncomfortable, unprofessional, and outright disrespectful. Not only is it offensive in general - one of us is the parent of a special needs child, we all have close BIPOC friends, and asking someone with a dietary choice questions about their sexual habits is disgusting. Clearly we couldn't say anything while someone has a permanent tattoo machine on our skin but I wouldn't feel right not posting something to warn others. We paid a lot of money and honestly still for some reason tipped because were decent people, but this was not an experience id wish on anyone else and I honestly don't know how even functioning like this is legal business practice. PS - we really hope WHEN she leaves him, that his wife gets "his" house. read more

At first I was weary about this pace because the guy doing my tattoo didn't talk much. But his work was great!!!! I got the sunshine tattoo on the back of my shoulder and my friend got the smile more tattoo on his arm! We had different artists and his artist was very talkative and gave him care instructions for after, mine did not. Overall, I highly recommend this place. If I could give 0 stars I would. We wanted a group tattoo and were told to come in in an hour and a half (which we did). Energy was negative as soon as we walked in. The attitude from the receptionist and tattoo artist was outrageous. I understand that they were busy but it doesn't make up for the fact that it was unwelcoming. We wouldn't want to showcase their work on our body, as soon as we walked we could tell they did not want to give us the time of day. He got food while we were there and made creepy jokes about me feeding it to him and that I "better do it right" and then went on to make fun of the receptionist saying she's worthless and can't even sweep right so he knows she couldn't feed him his food, she was literally sitting right there and by her having 0 reaction you can tell this is normal behavior. His responses to everyone on yelp with similar issues should be a big red flag that he does not take this business seriously and does not care about his customers. I'd be embarrassed to have something permanent on my body from such an ignorant and creepy person. My roommate got her nose pierced, she said the piercing was done quickly and is very satisfied with the way it looks. When we walked in, however, we did not feel very welcome by the employees and there was nowhere to sit and wait. Once we got in, the piercer got a phone call he wasn't happy about and was cussing and ranting about it WHILE he was doing the piercing. He was being very impatient with us and did not take his time, he almost didn't even tell her how to take care of the piercing.
