We opted for just a XL cheese and bosco sticks. 3 star pizza but the bosco sticks are a 5! Fried bread stick with mozz in the middle soft inside with a fried exterior. I placed an order online. I ordered a cheese pizza, jalapeño poppers, and fried pickle slices. They had fried pickle slices on their online menu, so I ordered them. When my food was delivered I received everything but my fried pickles. I called Luconi's and they said they no longer sell them, but I was charged for them. They said Slice would call me and give me a refund, but I have not received a phone call or refund from Slice. I only received 4 Jalapeño poppers and all my food was cold. I downloaded Yelp for the purpose of rating this. I called in an order at 5:15. She repeated my order incorrectly so I said the order again (3 items) She told me 35-40 min. I arrived at 6- very surprised that my order wasn't ready. She asked me my name. I told her she did not ask for my name on the phone! She then said it'll be 5 minutes. Well, it is 6:20 and I am still here waiting. When I came to the counter at 6:05 she says "it's the one that got messed up!" Thanks b. Could have told me I'd be sitting here while you cook my pizza. I have better things to do than waste 30 min of my life watching other people eat and listening to waitresses apologize to them, and staring at dirty towels left on the buffet. One of our favorite restaurants in town. The pizza is excellent, especially the deep dish double crust! I also think they have the best burger and cheese fries I've ever had. The burger is 1/3 pound with amazing flavor, and the fries are usually steak fries or crinkle cut. The service is always friendly and prices are perfect. While the food is decent, nothing great, the delivery service is terrible and so are the people who answer the phones. We ordered our food and drinks (for 2 people so it wasn't a lot to prepare or keep straight) and we were quoted 50 minutes. 50 minutes is a reasonable time for food delivery that isn't pizza. Our food still had not arrived after waiting for 80 minutes so I called to check that my order had even gone through. The person who answered the phone was constantly cutting me off and short with me as I was trying to inquire about our order which they said was just then en route, and did not even offer an apology or explanation for the food already being 30 minutes late. A phone call, email, or any communication would have been nice to let me know instead of me just waiting around for a hour and a half. Then our order finally came and we were only given 1 drink instead of 2. When I asked the delivery guy about the 2nd drink he said that there was only 1 on the ticket even though I had the email to show that I had in fact ordered and paid for a 2nd drink. Instead of apologizing he was arguing with me on my porch before finally agreeing to bring us another but it would take 20 a 25 minutes (understandable since he would have to go back and get it). After waiting for 30 minutes for the drink (mind you we were already finished eating by then) I called the store to find out again where our order was for a second time just to find out the delivery guy hadn't even left yet. This is completely ridiculous. I finally just gave up and told them not to worry about it. It will be a long long time before I consider ordering from this place again and will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. read more
