Yayyy so glad they opened up at the food court inside of Markville Mall! They have less options than their other standalone locations but they carry your typical cha siu bao, hot dog buns, and BLB along with some other buns like black sesame and fried crab (can't rmb the name). Less dim sum option as well but they still have the wrapped sticky rice and steamed rice. They can be super busy especially on weekends. You basically join the line and pick up any item you like along the way. Service was friendly. They charged extra 0.25 cents for a bag and no tax if you buy 6 buns.

Lucullus Bakery opened up a few days ago in Markville mall . They have a more limited selection of pastries and buns compared with their standalone bakeries. They still offer a number of the same drinks including HK milk tea and yuanyang. They also still carry flaky egg tarts, a few types of bolo baos, and croissants. Bakery items are made fresh daily. They currently have a 10% off promotion during their grand opening. Great place to stop for a quick snack and beverage if you're in the Markville mall food court.

Bakery located inside the food court at Markville Mall. They have an end of day discount if you're there in the last hour of opening. I ordered the spare ribs on rice with lemon tea as my choice of drink (you can get milk tea, yinyang, coffee, or water as well). The spare ribs with black bean sauce was tasty! I also got the custard pineapple bun which was a unique flavour I have not seen before. It was also delicious! Not overly sweet and the custard filling was generous. Would come back again to try the other items on the menu!

The pastries are similar to what you will find at other Lucullus Bakery locations in the GTA! It was nice to be able to pay with credit card without an additional charge at this location. The staff are very friendly and I like that it's situated right in the food court at Markville Mall. The rice options are good and I have never been told they are sold out which is nice - I normally get the Curry Chicken with Rice!

I have tried their mochi finally & it is really really good! It is the perfect bite where the mochi…read moreis soft, stretchy, sticky and chewy and the mango (there are other options) filling is plentiful and fresh/sweet. Recently, I got to try two of their 6 inch cakes. The earl grey tea chestnut cake with fresh strawberries and the black sesame mochi lava cake with fresh mangoes. Both cakes are AMAZING! I could taste the earl grey flavor and the chestnut flavor separately along with the fresh strawberries, it is a wonderful combination. The black sesame one was sooooo good also. It has black sesame mousse on the outside and the top is like a black sesame lava topped with pistachios and some kind of nutty crumble crunch. The inside has mochis layered within along with black sesame cake, more of that nutty crumble crunch and at the bottom is fresh mangoes. I honestly don't know which one I like better but I am craving either cakes again (I had both within the last 3 weeks haha). The service there is still excellent. Everyone working there is so kind & helpful. The ambiance is nice... it is spacious, bright and clean. I really love going in there and chatting with everyone while receiving top notch service.

Everything here is reasonably priced considering the quality and the generous portions. The place…read moreis always packed, especially on weekends when the line stretches down the hall. The tray of pork floss buns hits the perfect sweet, salty, and fragrant balance. The fried chicken bun was a standout. Crispy juicy chicken with mayo inside a slightly sweet bakery bun is an unstoppable combo. The Garlic Hot Dog was pretty average since I couldn't taste any garlic at all. The curry bun could use more filling, but the pastry itself was flaky and flavorful. The cheese chicken bun was huge and super satisfying. We got it fresh so the outside was crisp and the cheese stayed gooey. We also grabbed their famous egg tarts. They kept selling out and the kitchen was scrambling to keep up, so we pre-ordered and came back thirty minutes later to pickup. Totally worth it. The crust is flaky and buttery and the filling is silky and creamy. In our opinion, these are the best egg tarts in the city.

Coconut bun which was soft, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Egg tart was also really good. Crust is very buttery crust with a silky custard center. The wagyu curry bun had a rich and flavorful filling with just a hint of spice. Spam egg pineapple bun was also really gooood and the egg salad bun too. Also got a hotdog bun because I like hotdog. The buns were all excellent. Prices are fair for the quality, and the staff is kind and welcoming. Definitely a new go-to spot when I'm craving pastries and buns!
