I went for semi permanent eyeliner, which is a pretty uncomfortable procedure, but Ping made sure it was as painless as possible. She applied numbing cream and took her time with the procedure. She was very meticulous and I love the results - it was exactly what I was hoping for. She was also very friendly and personable and easy to talk to, which made the procedure more bearable. Like one of the other reviews mentioned, it was almost like a therapy session :) She even fixed my eyebrows a bit (I had screwed it up because I was trying to reshape them LOL), and let me know I can return in 2 months for a free touch up for the eyeliner. Overall, I highly recommend Ping's and hopefully will try some of her other services in the future. Miracles do happen. I didn't think Ping was still around and thank goodness she still is and I was still able to find her. She does a host of things, from facial cleanings to extractions, mole removals, and permanent tattooing. This time, I went to her to have some moles removed. She's honest in telling you what to expect, what she can and can't do, and what you should and should not do after treatments (feel good in knowing you won't feel ripped off/lied to/betrayed when you leave). She uses quality machines and products (you'll see that the products lining her shelf are no dollar store products, they are Japanese and European products). With that said, her price point compared to her knowledge is super affordable. Talking to her is just like talking to your hair stylist: for some reason you end up spilling your guts and life story and its therapeutic. She can speak with Chinese and English, so not to worry there. She mentioned to me that so many of her clients are like me: went to her when we were younger and keep coming back to her. I kept going because she was keeping my eyebrows on the fleek status. Now, the last time I went to her, a couple of months ago, this is what happened (see pictures). I think she had just gotten back from a trip or something so we didn't even go to the basement she just pulled up a chair and did my eyebrows in the hallway. It hurt but you eyebrow threading ain't no walk in the park so I didn't think anything of it. You know how you have those tears in your eyes because of the pain and when she hands you the mirror you kind of squint and say thanks, well that's what happened. It wasn't til I got home that I saw this. She literally tore my skin off. It scabbed and such and I still have a little scar, mine you this was a couple of months ago. Low key, my eyebrows were still fleekish though. Needless to say I have never gone back and I was pretty loyal to her. Sometimes she's good other times not so much. No consistency and I can't play that game when it comes to my face. Smh. Not only that but I'm sure she saw it and I'm into integrity. I contact her and she has immediate availability. Hooray! I arrive at her home and it is lovely. We go down to her salon set up and it is large and clean. Double Hooray! So far, so good! I sit in her chair and she goes to work on my eyebrows. Five minutes later she hands me the mirror and I could not believe she had done anything to my eyebrows. There was no shape, they were still untamed, and they looked almost as bad as they did when I walked in. I smile, thank her for her services, and pay. I figured there was no point in showing dissatisfaction because I would not be comfortable allowing her to do anything further to my eyebrows. I then had to drive to the mall to find someone who could fix my eyebrows because I was not having my shapeless brows. The lady who I found in the mall to do my eyebrows did not believe me when I told her that I just got them done! Tia is a nice woman, and based on the reviews I am sure she does offer good services. She just does not give that arched brow look that I like to go for. It is not necessarily a bad thing, just my personal preference.
