Not sure what's going on with all the "New" or shall I say changes to Lucy's. I can't say any of them were good. My husband stopped in today to order our favorite salmon patties from Lucy's and noticed that many items were no longer offered. We also noticed that the stuffed burgers were no longer offered and now instead were smashed burgers. So we both ordered something else and both of our burger buns had MOLD on them. The manager offered to remake our food but we were grossed out and just disappointed with our overall experience. If under new ownership, these are some things to look in to. Not sure we will ever be back. read more

Had a FANTASTIC BURGER and lunch experience at Lucy #7. My server, Paige, anticipated my needs and solved issues before they were issues (Refilled my soda without being asked and even cut open the mayonnaise packet I requested because she knew they were difficult). I've been a fan of Lucy's #7 drinks and loaded fries for quite a while. The Salmon patty is definitely my favorite out of all of the burger options, except the pulled pork burger of the month they had from many years ago--it beats them all. The Food: On this occasion the Salmon patty was really quite salty or maybe it was the filling, either way it was still overall delicious. The Aesthetic: Walking in you get a very rustic/ modern feel. I enjoy the atmosphere and all of the sports bar style TV's above the bar. The Drinks: If you are heading for a drink and haven't had the Mediterranean mule yet, it is divine!! The fig vodka with the lime and ginger beer are the most refreshing drink you'll ever have. My associates and I decided to try this restaurant out in to support small business. They very unprofessional. We set down before three other tables and they never refilled our drinks, then two of the tables got all their food before. I asked them about it. They unapologetic and no empathy. I will never suggest anyone to support a place like this. I truly they change there ways to visiting there towns. read more

So I try and go to dinner with my grandparents at around 6 in the afternoon. We were told 30-45 minutes for a wait. (Which is reasonable I get they were fairly busy) My name was added to the reservation list and I got a text notification on my phone. We walked up and down the street to kill time. Then returned to the front door and waited on the steps for another 55 minutes only then to be told that somebody HAD GIVEN AWAY OUR TABLE....... We waited patiently within 10 feet from the hostesses. On the other side of a door that's mostly glass. Do better next time for my grandparents sake. read more

Best burgers around! I had the olive burger and it was thick and juicy. My husband had the salmon burger, it was delicious. The fries are seasoned and very tasty. At the time we were there, I only saw one waitress but she was doing a great job. One wish would be more space as it is cramped and trying to get to the bathroom, you do have to make your way around other patrons. read more

Its a beloit restaurant, so the food is not good at all, service again beloit. I went there and they kept changing servers. Was ignored most of the time. Since my 1st visit i never went back. Want customer? How about you actually do your job? My poor cousin works there now and i still refuse to go. And he's awesome. read more

I would recommend trying this place at least once. Definitely unique burgers! Gustavo was our server and did great! Came for lunch on a Sunday around 1pm and was very busy at all. Only thing I would recommend are the cheese curds. Nothing special about them at all and there are a lot better ones out there. read more

Stopped here for a lunch while I was working in the area. Besides a great exterior sign and a cool wall graphic in the dining room, the atmosphere and staff were wonderful. We had not been to Lucy's for some time due to poor service the last time we were there. We went last night and will not be back. We were seated immediately, but waited a long time before anyone came to wait on us. When we did get a server, we got drinks and waited for probably 15-20 minutes for her to come back to take our food order. We ordered, and got our food, which was good. We had to flag the server down for our bill. She dropped it off and never came back. On the receipt is a QR code that you can use to pay at your table, I assume that is what they want everyone to do. However, we were paying cash. After waiting for a while, I finally took the bill up to the bar. The bartender looked at me and seemed irritated. He called for the server, she didn't come and wasn't around. He then got the manager, who went looking for the server. The manager handed the bill off to the server, who seemed mad she had to deal with me. Yeah, we won't be back. Good food, but being treated like a problem for paying cash and crappy service will keep us away. read more

To be honest, every time I am here the service isn't great. The wait is very long at all times of the day, we even were quoted a 10-15 min wait for lunch on a weekday when they didn't appear to be busy. The staff are friendly but nothing happens quickly. The burgers are good but I have yet to find a beef burger that makes me want to talk about it. I enjoy the notion that all of the burgers are stuffed but I've had a few where I suspect that they were trying so hard to get the inner filings to melt that the meat itself was overcooked. My guy raves about the cheese curds. Personally I prefer a lighter batter, but if you like your curd crust thick then these are for you. The caveat to my views of the burgers is the salmon burger- love that salmon burger! The house salad as the side with that burger is a fantastic meal. This is definitely a gem in Beloit but I do think they could do a few things to make this place a step above the rest. read more

Was out in Wisconsin doing training at manufacturer. This place had phenomenal burgers. I've had stuffed burgers before they're usually pretty dry with the exception of the ingredients inside them. These guys do a great job. Looking forward to going back there and trying a different one. read more

Wowee! Such a cool place. Unpretentious and welcoming. Cool urban vibe. I'm not from Wisconsin and I'm not a beer drinker, but really was this beer?! I seriously enjoyed the flight! I didn't get my burger on a bun because carbs :/ -saved my carbs for the beer lol! This is a great place for burgers. Sadly I had to get one without cheese due to being lactose intolerant. I got a burger with bacon and bbq sauce. It was very juicy and cooked just right. The fries are delicious they are fresh and hand cut. The fried pickles are a must and cheese curds according to my husband and mother in law are beyond delicious. Beloit has a lot of good restaurants. Lucy's is our go to place for burgers. Always good and especially like the special burger options.

My plain Jane smash burger was dry as a bone, smashed so thin it was non-existent in places (holes). The burgers they served us didn't look anything like the ones we saw in their advertising on tv. I emailed my observation to the two store managers and I was notified that these 2 email addresses were non-existent and undeliverable. read more

Great atmosphere and vibe. Started out with the cheese curds, they were average. They could be improved upon if they are served with something higher quality ranch dressing. Went with the spicy burger and upgraded to the loaded fries. The problem with the burger is they have to do it at a longer cooking time than I would prefer. While the first 75% of the burger was extremely flavorful, the last multiple bites were basically just a plain, over-cooked burger patty and no cheese, jalapeno or guacamole remained. A simple solution to this would be add a chipotle mayo to the bottom bun to keep it moist, spicy and flavorful in every bite. Meredith was an amazing server, her knowledge of the menu showed through and she always made sure my glass wasn't empty. read more

This is a local staple. Stuffed burgers with a few alternative options if you don't want the red meat. They have a rotating burger of the month which is usually something quite creative and tasty! If you decide to dine in, their beer selection is quite good with local options if you care to sample. Post covid, the wait times for food have been getting longer, but overall it's a great atmosphere to dine in and friendly staff! Definitely one of my go-to's in the community! Was there on a Saturday evening 6 pm had a 35-45 minute wait after 45 minutes we called they said another 35-45 min wait(must be what they tell everyone), we told them we had just waited 45 min. She said when we got there there were 30 ahead of us and now there were 5. So we waited and after about 5 minutes they texted and said our table was ready. After all the wait to get a table, our server was great, had to send my friends dinner back because they sent out the wrong side and it was cold. My cocktail was very weak. My dinner was very good. Saw this restaurant on a travel show called Discover Wisconsin and just had to try it! High end burgers, great bar and open restaurant concept make this a pretty cool place to have a drinks and a sandwich. I liked my burger very much and was really impressed with the wings. I'm a little afraid to be too adventurous, so I had the "Plain Jane" which was a burger stuffed with Cheddar Cheese. (There were multiple different cheeses to chose from). There were many other more unique burgers available on the menu, but I couldn't pull the trigger! I also had some teriyaki wings (sold by the pound) with excellent chunky blue cheese dipping sauce. I had never been here before, so when they said a 45 minute wait, we didn't bat an eye. Just went to the bar area, ordered drinks and their amazing cheese curds. We realized shortly after being seated that they are only Letting 25 people in TOTAL because of Covid and we're being very cautious. I really appreciated that! The wait went by fast because if very friendly bar staff and the hostess. Food was delicious, but nothing too crazy different than we've seen at burger joints previously. My mom and I saw the owner win Guys Grocery Games, so we had to come in to check it out! The service was so great and the online check-in for a wait was so convenient. We ordered the homemade chips as an app, and everybody in my party got a beer/cider from their amazing list. It was so hard to pick one burger; I went with the mac n cheese, my mom got the black and blue, and my dad did the plain jane. We all loved our burgers! So cheesy and fun. Fries: I got to try regular fries (slightly too salty) and sweet potato fries. They were both fine. Not bad at all but not memorable. Atmosphere: Relaxed and pub-like. A bit loud.
