Nothing fancy when you walk in. I just needed a pedicure and waited about 25 minutes because there…read morewere only 3 people working and 5 customers including myself. There was a man getting a pedicure so I knew that one wouldn't take long since he'd not be having polish so I waited. They really should call the place Nails/Romper Room because there was a toddler there hanging on to her mommy while mommy was clipping a customer's toenails - wtf? All I could think was the kid might knock mommy's hand over & cut into some toes! Then as I sat with my feet soaking I noticed a big area in the corner that was gated with blankets & toys for the kids as if it were a day care. It brought back bad memories of when I went to get a set of nails & the lady (who was doing my nails) had two little kids running around the shop causing havoc, screaming and tearing up the place that she had rented on the weekend while the owner had her hair salon closed. That was a horrid experience & I never went back. But this toddler that reminded me of that was not a little monster but I kept thinking she could get cranky anytime & that could take the attention away from the customers, namely me. But seriously, how can you let little kids like that hang out in a nail salon all day breathing in all of those nasty fumes? She was wandering about like she was getting into things, like polish, polish remover, etc? This place wasn't bad but for a Saturday morning, there were only 3 people working and I'm used to a lot of people working and a good amount of customers. The chair I sat on had a massager but it sounded like a Boeing 747 ready to land. And I couldn't control this round thingee in the middle of the seat that felt like a hard baseball trying to work it's way right up my ass. It was so uncomfortable for the most part! Won't be going back. Owner needs to get more employees and make babysitting arrangements. People like to relax when they get their nails/pedis done. Not worry about kids or have a baseball shoved up their ass on old rickety massage chairs.
