My guy and I decided to get pedicures one morning, so I did a quick search to see what was nearby and came across Okie Nails. They had great reviews, the place looked nice, and even better, they were able to get us in the same day...... score! When we walked in, the salon was clean, spacious, and had plenty of nail stations. The staff was friendly and got us started right away. The pedicure packages were solid, but I will say I was a little bummed that out of all the "flavors they showed me, the two I wanted were out. I ended up going with a lavender one, and honestly, it was super relaxing and still a great choice. Overall, I really liked this spot and have already been back since. I really hate to leave a one star review but my last experience left me in literal tears. I had been doing wedding nail trials here for about 3 months before deciding on a style. The day before my wedding, I came here to get my nails done. The owner IS so sweet which is why I hate leaving a bad review. But when she was taking off my old set, she was NOT paying attention and removing my nails SO rough. She completely destroyed my nail bed. I didn't speak up because I didn't have any experience like this before. Then she put me in front of some guy who had never done by nails before. I asked for a very very simple design with a thin brush, like we had done before with the owner. He couldn't do it. So I asked for a French manicure, he did it crooked?! I asked him to redo the French nail, he did it crooked again I showed him the reference photo of the French manicure I will settle for and, again he could not do it. So I asked him to just clear coat my nails and let me go. They still charged me for this awful experience and I cried in the car. I was genuinely SOBBING because everything had been fine before in the nail trials prior; but the day before my wedding they did everything wrong and STILL charged me. My husband paid and the we went to a different nail salon. At this other nail salon, they told me my natural nails were filed down SO thin and they completely destroyed my natural nails. My nails that I cared for for YEARS were destroyed before the biggest day of my life. And to add insult to injury- they still made me pay for the service. I will not be coming back. Ever. read more

My daughter and I came here and was treated very good by Ann and her staff. They were gentle and very kind to my 6 year old daughter. I don't know who's nails they are posting but definitely do not recommend So they just purchase this nail salon I been coming here for many years two people before them who had it were amazing I thought I was coming to my appointment to get my nails done with the original guy Ron but when I came to my appointment it was new faces and only person left was Cindy who does an amazing job with pedicures by the way she's priceless. Thank you for everything Cindy. But I get to my appointment and some guy by the name of mike is getting ready to do my nails and socks because I don't do gel nails. I've been doing powder for years so I'm assuming mike doesn't know what he's doing because he did not take off my previous color he just filed it down and colored my nails with gel nail polish, so I have my previous color still under my nail so when you turn and look under my nails, it looks like my nails are dirty. I'm so disappointed in my gel nails that he did started peeling three days later I was going to go after I ended up paying $120 for the service that's including my feet and a tip for Cindy but I'm so disappointed that I decided to say I'm gonna take that as a loss and never go back P.S Using my husbands Yelp because I don't have one read more

I went into Okie Nails for the first time yesterday. Honestly I'd never even knew that this shop was there but out of the corner of my eye driving home yesterday I saw them and decided to stop in. I had previously gone to a shop across the street, but decided not to go to them because they weren't very friendly and they did not follow directions very well, didn't give me the color that I asked for and burned me Is several times when they would do a fill on my nails. I came into Okie Nails instead. And what a difference! They made me feel at home from the very beginning. They put a heater by my feet to keep me warm. They asked me exactly when I wanted. I told them that I wanted the nails that I had on removed and I wanted a very natural look. My job actually requires it. So they suggested that I do a powdered dip fill on my natural nails so that it would be better for my nails in the long run. They explained that I had enough length on my nails and I didn't need any false tips. Helen helped to remove the nails I had on and then Anne completed my nails with the powder dip. The entire time Anne spoke with me and she made me feel right at home and at ease. Honestly this experience at this nail shop made my day. Both ladies there were extremely welcoming. I never make appointments for nail shops but this one I did. My next appointment is in three weeks. And the best thing of all is that they did not charge me in arm and a leg.It was a very fair price! I highly recommend that you do not overlook this shop and actually seek it out because I was pleasantly surprised. I think you will be too! read more

I just moved to the area so I called and was able to get in the same day for a dip and gel fill on my real nails and I'm very picky with who does them and how they do them . This is my second time coming to this nail salon and I had my nails and pedicure done by Helen and Ann ,and I was very pleased how long my polish lasted the first time . So I have to preface this with I had been going to what was Lily Nails for a few years before recently changing to Okie Nails with Tina. Originally a few years ago, was just an older man, then went to Amy and her husband, Paul- Amy I loved and did great on nails. One day come in and it's Tina and crew- Tina was also fabulous. But, they were short lived a few months. Went Saturday (11/11) for my nail appt (I pre book 3 weeks in advance) and was new faces again. I leave this review because this is the worst set I've had in years. After waiting 45 min past my initial appt time (things happen and usually it doesn't bother me) for a fill, the male nail tech did my nails in about 20 min. He was rough, hurt me numerous times with carelessness and rushing with the two nail tools he used, wouldn't cut my nails down to short how I like them upon request. Shoving and pulling my hands with no regard. Cindy has been there through all the changes so the one star I have to leave is for her. My grow out- natural nail doesn't attach to the acrylic nail- so it's peeling and snagging on everything on all but two nails. Middle finger, left hand broke not even two hours after my appt when I reached for my cup- how does that even happen. Just overall poor quality and service. The "manager" was sweet enough and as said, Cindy- but I won't be returning. Feel like I spent $75 (including a wax) on nothing and will need to have them fixed somewhere else. Wish I knew why that place kept changing hands.. read more
