The meeting was not rushed, he was well-informed of my situation, and took time to listen. He made eye contact the whole time, and genuinely seemed he cared. He saw that I was upset not only because of the injuries the defendant had caused me, but because their uncaring, unsympathetic attitude about it! They didn't even apologize or try to make it right! Our 7-year-old son experienced a very painful and traumatic leg injury due to a defective product. Our family are grateful to Luce Evans Law for taking on a pressing problem that had enmeshed us. They communicated regularly with updates as the situation grew into a civil lawsuit which we gladly filed under the advice of Luce Evans Law. Our trust was based on their legal capabilities and their caring concern. We also anticipated an early settlement. The lawsuit was of two parts. The first part involved sequestration of the object of the lawsuit, a truck, and this was a brilliant move by Luce Evans Law early in the game. In a small way we actually participated in this and worked hard to find and provide a house address that was deliberately concealed by the defense. The most notable relief from this part was the lifting of the liability threat of defendant-caused truck accidents when we obtained possession of the truck from the defendant. This was huge. The second part of the lawsuit was a drawn out process that lasted many more months. The strategy was complicated by a lawyer for the defense that worked pro bono, and it slowly became clear to us that the defendant had little incentive to mediate. This was apparently a rare situation that we felt we could have benefited from by proactive discussion with Luce Evans Law. The legal approach eventually worked and the lawsuit was settled. I, nor my husband really do reviews, but seeking an attorney can be one of the more intimidating, professional consults a person can face. When one finds a gem, they need to share that with others. We chose Luce law to represent our son who was bitten by a dog. My case, from March 2012 involved another drivers distraction to their driving and was also unprepared for the adverse road conditions.
