I watched nearly his entire process, and his work was completely meticulous. This gentleman refuses to cut corners, rush or skip details. (That's not to say he isn't in demand--he needed to field calls from clients throughout, though this did not slow him in the least!) He recreated an entire screw mount using plastic edging displaced from in the interior. This was then welded it to fit the hardware and left me with a plastic panel that can be normally separated and removed from the vehicle if this becomes necessary in the future.. I also want to note that he is completely scrupulous in refusing to offer the quick-fix mobile paint jobs offered by many competitors. Spot painting is more complex than most people realize, and the need to carefully blend various areas under indoor conditions are vital to not doing more damage than is solved. Damage to the surrounding area would also be possible, and he can offer such services separately and reasonably-priced at his Hollywood location. I suggest you take this advice, no matter whom you employ. Oh, and did I mention that his rates are reasonable? Hello everyone and I hope you are all doing well. So it turns out I have been thinking about…read moreplaying around with one of my cars for a while now and among some adjustments on my exhaust. Yeah, typical car guy thing but you know if you have a car with a HEMI V8, man you just can't knock the beautiful sound of that V8 growl. Not being an exhaust expert myself, I spoke to William at 954 Mufflers on what my options were and he provided me with a few options at various price points. Seeing as I wanted the exhaust tone to be a little more aggressive but not be annoying on long trips, we opted to swap out my factory mufflers for a couple of Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers; also, swapped out my OEM chrome exhaust tips for a pair of gloss black exhaust tips. Total cost out the door was $975 parts and labor, which from my perspective was a great deal. These guys and gals at 954 Mufflers are not messing around. They know their business and it shows. While I was there I was seeing them get cars done efficiently and professionally. It was basically a master class in how an exhaust shop should run and it was great to watch people work that know what they are doing. No rushing, just making sure that it all gets done to the best of their ability. Their excellent customer service starts over the phone when you call them all the way through getting the work done. All the staff that works at this shop is on point and knows what they are doing. Whether you need work done on a Mercedes GT63 or a Chrysler 300 and everything in between, these guys have got you covered. So you are probably wondering, Nelson so how does your exhaust sound man? Great question, simply amazing! Exactly what I wanted. Williams recommendation was spot on! Quick tip.... Make sure that if you are getting some work done that you take whatever parts you want to keep with you immediately or at least let them know you will pick it up so they can store it in the back for you. If not, well the parts will be picked up by metal scrappers and they will be gone, so let them know either way. So long story short, this business definitely knows what they are doing. If you are looking to get some professional exhaust work done on your vehicle I am sure that they will do a great job. They can handle everything between a simple muffler swap to setting you up with a complete custom exhaust setup on a professional build. Hope this helps and have a great day!

My Infiniti dealer had told me Tuesday that I needed a MAJOR engine repair/replacement that they were not going to cover under warranty and wanted to charge me $8,485 to do the work. My friend took me over to see Cosimo at Motorvation. He checked out my car and said that my dealership shop telling me my engine was wrecked was complete BS. I needed some repairs but it was $800 rather than $8400. Big difference. And 2 days later I'm back on the road. Car runs great. I'm happy. Tuesday's news sucked. Lol. I'm not a mechanic and my car was clearly in need of repair so he could have told me anything and charged me anything. My dealership was saying over 8 grand and he had seen their estimate so if he told me $4000 it would have made sense to me and sounded like a bargain. I'm still kind of surprised my dealership tried to do that to me. They are either crooks or completely incompetent or just don't care. I've bought 5 cars from them so I'm a bit pissed about it.
